Purchased a groupon here and was advised to set up an appointment for initial consultation first prior to treatment. I was on my way to my appointment and just realized that there was a missed call on my phone. I tried calling the number back and realized it was from this company and would like to reschedule the appointment because their staff could not make it and nobody could do the consultation. Because I work far I already took some time off from work that day. The receptionist said that the only thing that they could do unfortunately is for me to come back another day because nobody is available to see me, so rude! It was just so frustrating and what a waste of my time! I will never purchase anything from this company again.

I love this place I come to get laser hair removal treatments and they are always prompt and on time and great about reminding me of my appointments. Their prices are the cheapest ive seen def go I have referred a few people here.

Not happy with the service I received here. I was very clear with the lady that did my consultation that I needed my WHOLE face from the bottom of my eyebrows to under my chin. She said they could totally do that and gave me a price. The girls who did the removal only did common problem areas and didn’t do the whole face, completely ignoring my cheeks. I tried to point it out but they tried to argue with me saying they don’t see hair there. Okay, well you guys asked me to shave the day before so yeah, it’s harder to see than the hair on my chin. Also was told that under the chin was not included when I was very clear with the lady who did my consultation. Poor attention to detail and just trying to get you out as quickly as possible. I feel ripped off.

I purchased a groupon for $ 99 (6 sessions) for the extra small area (underarms). I went for my initial consultation which lasted about 15 minutes and was told that treatment works best on dark hair with 10 sessions and occasional maintenance after the treatment. I was scheduled immediately for the following week to start my treatment. After my 1^st session, I purchased 4 more sessions for a total of 10 sessions as there was a holiday deal going on. The wait is not long and the session takes only a few minutes so you are in/​out of there within 10 minutes. The parking lot located in the back of the building has very limited parking so I prefer to park on the street in the front.
Since October, I have had 2 treatment and have noticed the hair to grow back slower and certain areas are hair-​free. To date, I have not had any negative experience with the staff though I notice the nurse for my first session and 2^nd session to vary in the number of times they zap me. Also, the 2^nd nurse was much nicer and friendlier. I forgot to ask her name. Hopefully, I find out her name next time and request for her for the future sessions. Will definitely update my review once I finish my treatment.

I’ve been going here for lazer treatment for over a year. The staff is nice, the location is convenient. My only con is the lazers are not as gentle as ASL., but beauty is pain!

DO NOT GO TO THIS AWEFUL LAZERING CLINIC!!!
They will take your money up front… charge you fees if you miss an appointment.
They will NOT use sanitary lining on the beds and who knows if they clean their machines.
They will keep it at a low lazering setting as to not burn you but hey they still manage to BURN you with scabs!
If you tell them about being burned the owner will blame it on the sun! Makes no sense!!! But great legal stagety.
Be fore warned this is a far below satisfactory clinic and you will not get the hair removal results you seek. I tried laser in here for 1.5 years straight and it came back

nobody writes like that.
I hope the people that work there could experience their own lasering punishment. I mean I paid to get lasered and I get burned so I have to scab up and hurt for 6 weeks.. .

Got the groupon deal: $ 99 for six sessions for underarms. I’ve gone through 4 sessions already and so far everything has been looking great! I was initially a little concerned after my first session because I didn’t notice a reduction, in fact I thought it was growing out thicker and faster. This was probably due to the fact that I’m shaving now instead of the usual waxing– leaving blunt ends so they appear thicker. I told them that I think I may need something a little stronger when I came in for the second session and they boosted up the level. The zap is stronger and I felt it more but after that, I started to really see the results.
If you’re not noticing results after a few sessions, definitely speak up to let them know!
I’m going to update my review after all my sessions are done.

I have spent years and countless hours in front of a magnifying mirror, selectively tweezing away at my chin/​jawline. It was becoming a tiresome, time consuming and depressing chore of each day. The irritation and sometimes ingrown hairs that would result from the constant abuse to my face was making me very self conscious, not to mention all the scarring damage I was doing to my face.
I was skeptical, but I had gotten to the point where I was willing to try anything to remedy this unsightly and embarrassing situation.
After only 2 sessions I can honestly see an 80% reduction in the growth of the hair! I no longer spend an average of an hour a day in front of the mirror, my skin and confidence are more radiant and healthier than ever.
Not only is the service 5 Stars, but the staff at A Youthful Reflection are are very nice and pleasant to see each visit.
I would highly recommend their service and anyone wondering if laser hair removal really works, I can say IT DOES!

Seemed like a too good to be true deal…
It was.
Initially seemed to be working but as soon as I ended my 6 sessions, everything came back the same… If not more hair growth than before … And fast.
Would not recommend… There are better medspas out there that actually work.
Update 10÷12÷15:
I appreciate the owner reaching out to me but I actually finished all but one of my sessions. I’m pretty sure that 1 session would not have made a difference :(I went to another medspa after all the hair in that area (and then some additional hair!) grew back in and after only 1 session (2 months ago) I have only had to shave once. Go figure…

I wish i can put 0 star. Really bad customer services. They can changed your schedule appointments whenever they want to. so rude… i have to cancelled my purchase. please do not come here. Seriously services not good. And the works not looking great

I just went in for my consul. It was a really good experience. I was very happy with all the information that Kathy provided me. I’m looking forward to my sessions. The price is amazing! I think that the price is the best in this area. I would deathly recommend everyone to at least go and get some information. It’ll be worth your time.

I’ve only had one treatment so far but so far so good. Most of the hairs have NOT grown back and the ones that are there are super thin. I have not shaved for a month now and my underarm is almost hair free. I don’t have the annoying ingrown hairs I usually get from shaving. The only problem I’ve had so far is that on one underarm, I’ve been getting rashes. Not exactly sure why yet. I’ll be going in for my second session next week. If the first session has tremendously stopped the hair growth, I believe that after 6 treatments, it should be mostly all gone.
Maybe I’m a lucky person and this worked for me? Those who are planning on buying a Groupon, consider your options but know that this DOES work for some. Maybe not all, but they clearly state that it might not work for everyone.
On a pain scale, the zapping did hurt more than a tattoo, but only for about a second or 2 right when you get zapped. Then you get zapped maybe like 3 – 4 times per underarm so overall, it’s a couple minutes for the whole treatment. I felt like I was in and out in 5 minutes. Nothing to really complain about so far and excited to continue treatment. Will laser other areas once underarms are finished. :)

Found this place thanks to a Groupon and I have truly enjoyed the experience so far. The staff is so wonderful and very accommodating with my schedule which is very helpful. I decided to upgrade my package to do the laser treatment for 2 extra small areas on my face since the deal was so good. I have been looking for a place to complete the last of my treatments and this has definitely exceeded my expectations .
The only thing I have to consider is whether or not I will still need more treatments beyond my groupon deal of 6 treatments (really good deal for $ 99) and if so, what will the regular price be for those. I’m hoping there will be more deals I can look at if I still need more treatments.

Came here for the groupon deal since the price was right and the reviews were the best I’ve seen…
Service really depends on who is working on you. Some just zaps you one or two spots and let you be on your merry way AND some will take the time to talk to you and make sure they covered the area requested. I think I liked Sheena best?
Parking is no bueno, so good thing they relocated.

I saw the Groupon for $ 99 to remove the hair from my under arms for 6 sessions. I thought this is cheap and great if it works. First thing I did was Unilocal them. I believe when I did they at least had a 4 star rating. Second I had a consultation which was 30 minutes. The lady told me its more likely to work if I have light skin and dark hair which I do so I thought at least 50% of my hair would be removed. I bought it there and I didn’t need to go on groupon I guess they just have the promotion often.
She said to shave every time right before my appointment which was every 4 weeks. I thought the laser treatment was working but it was only because I was shaving like they told me to do. It has been a couple of months since my last session and I have so much hair! I shave every week because its so hairy and grows quick.
Honestly the employees (I realized they are all woman. I never saw a man) are all very nice and I never had a reason to not like them but these people cheated me and made so much money off of me and anyone else so bought into this. Every one of my appointment/​sessions were only 3 minutes! No joke. So it was like every 3 minutes of my time they made $ 5!
Please do not waste your time!

Update: so the hair did grow back like a month later. I also did a maintenance set of sessions and didn’t help. The hair does come back finer than before and I don’t get razor burn when shaving. But it’s still around :(

I bought a Groupon for 6 sessions to get my underarm hair removed, and then another 4 session to make sure all the hair would be gone.
At first I thought it was working really well because it seemed as if the hair under my arm were slowly disappearing. I would go once every month and I was seeing «results.» But after my 10^th session, which has now been about 2 months post-​laser, the hair is back…
I was confused on how this happened, but then it hit me. Of course it looks like I was seeing results, I had to shave constantly so of course it’s going to seem like I have no underarm hair! But now that I’ve stopped, I can see that the laser treatment really didn’t do anything! I was expecting that after my 10^th session I would no longer need to shave constantly because the hairs would have been gone. The recommended number of treatment is 10 and I did ALL 10 and it seems like I’m back at square one.
I highly recommend that if you plan to get laser treatment to look elsewhere. Yes the price is cheap here, but that may be the reason why it doesn’t work!
What a waste of money, now I have to find a new place that actually REMOVES the hair, instead of giving me an ILLUSION of the hair being removed…

I took12 underarm and upper lip but i still have 50% of hair left… Im very disappointed and hate this center. Its cheap but it wont even deserve what we are paying. Waxing is better than going through this laser treatment. When i asked them the same thing they said the sessions differ from person to person… 12 sessions is not a small amount and they don’t give any guarantee and at least they don’t even care.
They are most irresponsible and annoying. I rather give zero star for this center.

I am the ideal candidate because I have black hair and light skin. I was pretty disappointed that only 50% of my under arm hair was gone. I was hoping for at least 90%! One good thing that came out of this is that all my ingrown hairs are gone. I haven’t had it for a while now, which is pretty good. I just have to deal with 50% of the hairs that are left now…
The staff was accommodating. I never had trouble with anyone, but it’s not the best customer service that I had. Not super friendly or anything, but gets the job done. Overall, it’s a cheap place to get into laser hair removal, but you should probably find other places if you want to remove all hair. They have sales often, but I won’t be coming back for that. You get what you pay for.
Edit (3÷24÷15): I think my hair grew back… and my ingrown hairs are back… oh no… :(I will try medical grade laser next.

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased a cheap living social deal .
This is a tight small congested office with high traffic, 5 to 7 people standing sitting. Talking, a chiropractor running around staring at pretty ladies.
I had a horrible experience of staff being rude prejudice and racist. Blond blond blond and blond ladies in front desk in majority.
If you are white go for it. But if you are any other race, Asian good looking or not. They ll not flash an eyelid on you.
Lady to the left is so rude, she ll cut corners, give you answers back without even asking questions.
I will finish the rude introduction from the staff in few minutes.
But the owner who is a blond American (nothing again blonds), pretends she has an award winning existing business for 10 years. She also claims that she is a happy person. She always is right about her staff, without knowing how a person is being treated. She ll continue to give you answers back on anything negative presented to her.
I really hope all of us here from Unilocal where 82 reviews are given a 1 star complains this business with unethical behavior towards clients. How can they treat us like this.
Both the consulting lady and the lady, who did my treatment, were so uptight if they are so turned off by good looks threatened by questions.
They just wanted to rush me out today after my treatment.
If they are prepared by the owner to watch out.
They ll do there work, but unhappy and have uptight expressions.
All of this has really really hurted and angered me as a vibrant young happy positive person.
Coming back to all girls’ staff
Obviously if the staff ll not smile, say hello argue; will put their words against ours
A positive personality can immediately becomes pessimist .
Can you believe after I called in today to speak to the owner, about the few names given of therapists that are ACTUALLY COURTEOUS.
SHE TOLD ME TO SEEK SERVICES SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I told her several times that I don’t any refunds back because it ll not solve my disappointing opinion against your business. She said what else it that she can do? Fire her staff? Her business is in good standing for 10 years.
Her staff has never any issues.
I just kept on listening to her, since the conversation was not gonna go anywhere.
What I wanted from her was to say, I really apologize to you. I don’t expect that from my staff.
Come in for the last time and if you still feel the same way. We can part ways
But ladies and gentlemen I have moved from east coast. Have traveled and got laser done on india, Dubai, pakistan and dublin ireland.
Clinics, offices, spas and medspas are professional and beautiful to eyes and to your skin.
I had no idea of this crap on west coast for cheap laser technology and rude and unfriendly people.
I wish I never have this experience again.
Also after my first treatment I had discomfort, and intolerable prejudice experience.
From the front desk staff to the ladies (not friendly) therapist are even worse.
The worst experience of my life. No customer service skills what so ever!!!
