Like everyone, I hate having car trouble but Luis from Longi Bro Towing made it much easier and less stressful. Luis the mechanic was great! He was very knowledgable and pleasant to deal with. I don’t know anything about cars and he explained what he was doing in terms that I could understand. After completing the diagnostics test he confirmed that I needed a new battery. Thank you Luis, Longi Bros and AAA for a job well done!

I had my car towed fom my house to the dealership. Joseph was very professional, nice, and answered all my questions. Joseph made Overall a great experience! I will definitely use them again!

So 3 weeks ago i called for a tow through AAA and they sent out Alongi Brothers Tow/​Motor Body. I requested a Flat bed for my Lincoln Town Car, the rear air shocks had gone out. They sent a flat bed took them 1hr and 30mins on a Saturday. Young kid came out said he couldn’t tow the car he didn’t know how to tow it. so he calls for a more experienced driver took another hour to show up. This guy Julio shows up with a trainee who knows more about towing a car than he does. Since the start he looked for every excuse Not to my car. Then he calls AAA to tell them a commercial tow service needs tow my car. AAA. ordered him to tow my car so he put dolly jacks on my car and then figured out that it needed to be towed by a flat bed. The tow guys then jacked up my car when they took the dolly jacks off they hit and dented my rear passenger door. I confronted the tow driver immediately about the damage and he denied it. I advised him i had just hand washed the car and that dent/​scratch was not on my door. I also called to file a complaint and spoke to Tony a supervisor who basically gave me no real answers or solutions to the problem. Very poor customer service beginning with the Tow Driver and also the Management. If your going to use these guys be careful or better yet use another Tow company.

I can’t even give this place one star. I was in a motorcycle accident on 9÷29÷14. My boy-​friend tried to pick up my bike for me, they made him make 3 trips claiming my signature did no match… no duh my wrists were broken. Then when they finally released it, I was missing items that I saw while I was on the ground, not only that they charged $ 1800 to store it outside in the rain for less than 2 weeks. Now I’m in need of a copy of the receipt, and wouldn’t you know it, they will not provide me with it.

Our car was stolen from our home in Alameda. San Jose Police found it and had Alongi tow it to their yard. Alongi does not return phone calls. After a time of repeated, unsuccessful attempts to contact and waiting to hear back from them, Alongi auctioned our stolen property, intentionally without informing, and kept the proceeds of the sale.
Our first contact from their end was actually from lien collections demanding that we pay Alongi an additional $ 3700 for storage. Sounds unlikely? Even libelous? Nope this definitely happened, it is clearly illegal, and we have everything documented.
Tow companies are absolutely required to notify owners immediately upon request of all charges due, and definitely to notify owners via certified mail, prior to auction. They didn’t. There is no notice filed with the post office. But its an expensive legal process (especially for the «target market»), so they just go for it, and auction the vehicle. Unless you are an attorney, or best friends with one, its just not worth the time or $ pursuing, given the payoff. THEY KNOW THIS.
This shady company abuses its mutually beneficial relationship with the San Jose police department to extort money from car theft victims. Alongi and predatory tow companies like this make car theft victims’ situations even worse than the first criminals had. Avoid Alongi.

My elderly mother’s battery was dead and the task of getting it started was complicated by an antitheft mechanism which took greater effort. Anthony, the technician was patient, personable, efficient, and effective and successfully solved the problem and stayed to make sure the car was operable. No one from Alongi Brothers Towing responded to my phone calls. I filed a formal complaint with AAA and notified the CHP in case this is one of their rotation companies. If a tow driver responds to a AAA call he should NEVER try and get more money out of you. Shady Shady Shady…

My car was stolen and recovered less than 27 hours after. San Jose police dept contracts with this company to tow stolen/​recovered vehicles. When I went to recover my car, I had to pay $ 285 to get it out of this tow yard. When the police dept called me they told me the items that were in the car when it was stolen and found (my car stereo, speakers, my cell phone charger and all three of my husbands tool boxes with tools that were in the trunk) were still there in the car (I was so relieved). The towing company made me pay and sign paper work before letting me see my car. When the employee drove my car up he was telling me to hurry and go. I noticed my car stereo and speakers were gone, no phone charger and when I got home and opened the trunk two of the tool boxes were gone and the one they left had only a couple of screw drivers in it. Since the police dept told me they were in there when the car was found and towed, I can only assume that the tow yard employees stole all of my property. So now I have been victimized twice. I find it appalling that the tow company that contracts with the police dept has such POS employees that feel they can steal property from a victim. I am beyond disgusted. I called the tow company and the police dept and they couldn’t care less. Please note that if you ever have to deal with this company, you demand to see your vehicle before paying to get it out and inventory your belongings. Such a shame that there are assholes that work for a company that apparently is fine having thieves for employees. (I am not saying all of their employees are bad but obviously they have at least one thief) All I can say now is KARMA IS A BITCH, YOU WILL GET WHAT’S COMING TO YOU!

My car refused to start one evening so I called AAA and then sent out a tow truck immediately. Ricky came to my rescue and quickly deduced that my battery needed to be replaced. He hopped on his radio and requested that Rob drive out there to replace my battery. Not even 15 minuted later, Rob arrived to replace my battery and was literally in an out in less that 10 minutes.
Both of these gentleman totally saved my life and their customer service was impeccable. They really were a great pair to work with!

Called AAA for a jump. Shawn was here on time and I had a new battery at a good price in an hour. Great service.

500 dollars to repair the damage this company has done to my car.

AAA dispatch was stupid and didn’t give the driver enough information to do his job properly. However, Giovanni went above and beyond, took responsibility– even though it really was an office/​dispatch communication problem. He apologized, offed solutions we never even considered, and one of them worked! Not sure if our platinum AAA membership is worth it, but we will use Alesi and request Giovanni regardless.

One of my vehicles wouldn’t start this morning and I wasn’t sure what was wrong. I called AAA and had a tow set to come within an hour. Alongi bros came within the estimated window, but then refused the tow upon arrival!
Hmm. So you mean to tell me… you drove across town just to tell me you can’t tow my vehicle? To the same shop you towed my other vehicle to less than two weeks ago?!
The driver, Ricardo, then proceeds to diagnose my vehicle by asking what the issue is. He asks to look under the hood, which I oblige. What he does next throws me for an effing loop! «Sometimes when cars don’t start it’s due to the fuel tank… with the hammer you can get it to start.» He whips out a hammer and hits my fuel tank like he’s a carpenter!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
I’m pissed at this point and ask him to call his supervisor. He calls and tells me I need AAA approval to drop the car off after hours. Which is a bunch of bull, because I got another car towed to the SAME EXACT LOCATION less than two weeks ago, at 8pm at that! Again, because I wanted my car to be looked at first thing in the morning… I call AAA and ask for approval. They tell me that the approval process is done before the tow is even dispatched, and that there is no post approval necessary! I tell them to talk to the driver, who is STILL refusing to tow my truck!
I’m so livid I tell him I no longer need his services and that he can leave. I called AAA back, mad as hell, and was escalated up to the supervisor. Because I wasn’t the most pleasant person at this point, they took awhile to go thru my history and confirm them with the towing company. I had no issues with this. I’ll stay on the phone til pigs fly. She returns and says she is investigating why Alongi took my car the first time and refused the second time, and the company’s response was. And I quote «she got lucky.»
Alongi’s service is inconsistent and their drivers need to learn how to properly communicate instead of coming to my home and wasting my time. As far as I’m concerned, a AAA tow consists of 1) picking something up and 2) putting it back down. If Alongi bros. can’t manage to do that… Their issues are way bigger than me. And that’s a shame.
I filed a formal complaint with AAA and am going to the BBB with my concerns.

My car overheated tonight so I called AAA. They said the driver would be there in 40 minutes or less. He apparently got lost (in the same neighborhood where they are!) and it took an hour.
When he arrived (and man do I wish I got his name) I asked him if he could drop me near my house maybe 6 blocks away, on his way to my mechanic in Campbell. I’ve always had AAA drop me and then take the car to M&M. He told me I had to go with him. I argued that this has never happened before. Mind you, it’s almost 8pm, dark, and my mechanic is 5+ miles from my house. He radios his office and they tell him I have to go with the car.
I’m beyond pissed but I go with him. After he unloads my car I pull the key out, drop it thru the night slot while he get into his truck… And drives away! He left me, female, alone, lugging bags, to WALK a mile and a half to the VTA station on Winchester. I’m pretty sure on my cold, dark walk I saw the bastard drive down Winchester past me. I had another 4 blocks to walk from Diridon after that!
On the plus side, I called AAA completely irate and the wonderful gal stayed on the phone with me and called me back a few times to make sure I got safely home. And AAA filed a grievance against this company.
They suck!

After getting into an accident, I used Alongi Bros. again today to tow my car. Different driver but same great service.
Ben was quick, helpful, and funny. This company has been effective at keeping good drivers and customer service.

So I was hit by a car about a week ago. And the tow-​truck driver who showed up was extremely helpful. His name was Steven and checked my AAA account to let me know what my options were:
1. He could take me to the nearest body shop and get me into a rental ASAP
or
2. Tow me back home (30+ miles) but I would have to wait about an hour and a half.
I chose option two as it was the most convenient for me in the long run. Instead of just abandoning me there to wait for another tow truck driver he made it so that he could drive me. Long story short the tow ended up taking hours because he had to pick up another car going out of town. However, Steven had a great attitude the whole time. He chatted and joked around with me and the other guy getting a tow. Even though the tow took awhile Steven’s positive attitude made all the difference.
Afterwords I called AAA so they could let Alongi Brothers Towing know. And I hope someone from there sees this review because they have a real asset in Steven.

Incompetent, lazy, unknowledgeable Tow Company.
Let me make it clear, my vehicle is slightly modified and has been towed countless of times on a flat bed tow truck. When I requested a tow from AAA, they made a note that I wanted a flat bed.
Alongi comes out in a traditional tow truck. Willis makes the assessment that my vehicle is too low for a traditional tow truck. (no shit) So he makes a call into his company and informs them that my vehicle is too low for a traditional AND flat bed.
So now, I have AAA telling me that they are not willing to send out anyone due to high risk.
You have tarnished my towing record with misinformed and lazy employees.

I was on my way to a Sharks game on Saturday night when my radiator cap cracked and my car died at the intersection of San Fernando and Market Streets.
I called AAA and they said a tow truck would arrive within 15 – 20 minutes. A quick five minutes later, Richard from Alongi Brothers showed up and efficiently lugged my car onto the back of the tow truck. Richard speedily wrote down my contact information and was very patient as I tried to figure out the name of the auto body shop my dad usually goes to. (I was pretty useless… All I could remember were the cross-​streets, the gas station at the corner, and that it was in a shopping center with a dollar store. Ha!)
Because I have my priorities straight, after the Sharks game (not during), I called Richard to check whether he was able to find the auto body shop given my vague description. Richard said he was on another call at that time and would call me back. Sure enough, he did and explained that since he had to go on another emergency tow call after he picked up my car, another driver took my car to the correct auto body shop and safely left my car keys with the gas station attendant.
Alongi Brothers Towing exceeded my expectations with their great customer service. No wonder they’re AAA approved! Well, now they’re Sylvia D. approved, too! And we all know my approval is the ultimate approval.
P. S. Thanks, car, for being considerate enough to take your last breath a few blocks from the Shark Tank so that I could still walk to the game and witness them bounce back from their six-​game losing streak! Let’s goooo Sharrrrks!
