Amir School of Music is design to fulfill your musical needs. Our 3 main goals for our students are: Education, Entertainment, and Learning how to experience music better.

At ASM you can learn Persian and Middle Eastern Musical Instruments in three ways.

1. Private Lessons, At your home or our studio

2. Group Lessons, at a designated location, or you can form your own group lesson with more than 5 people

3. Online Lessons, Through webcam and additional material

We also strive to create self learning materials and packages (DVDs, CDs, and Books) for students who are not able to attend our sessions.

History

Established in 2007.

Amir School of Music was stablished in 2007 in San Diego, California. In 2012, based on many requests from Nor-​Cal community, Amir Etemadzadeh realized the need for Persian and Middle Eastern music lesson in the Bay Area and moved the main location of ASM to San Jose. Since then, the school have been catering to individuals and organizations all around SF and the Bay Area.

Business Owner

Amir Etemadzadeh is a professionally trained Middle Eastern Musician. More than 20 years of experience studying with great Masters in Persian and Middle Eastern Music, and more than 15 years of teaching experience, has made Amir a great candidate for spreading the beauties and mysteries of this music in the West.

Amir is passionate about finding better ways of communication with his audiences and students, through never ending research about human brain, how we perceive music, and how our psychology and emotions works with music.

Aside from performances and instructional session, Amir is writing several methods for Persian and Middle Eastern Instruments in addition to a series of books on Rhythm Studies, and Music books for children.
