Gerardo is professional and easy to work with. His communication prior to performing the job was great with both phone conversations, email, and meeting in-​person. He was able to promptly schedule the job for us.
The fence replacement went smoothly and we are very happy with the final product. His team was efficient, hard-​working, and pleasant to interact with. The quality of the lumbar was far superior to other redwood fences in the area (including another large company who supplies the wood through their own lumbar yard).
We’ve hired Gerardo for another project and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to replace their fence/​gates.

I have used Gerardo to do two jobs on my property in San Francisco. The first was building a fence on a very steep hill. The second constructing stairs and a large ipe trellis (18ft high). Gerardo, and his team are amazing. Both times Gerardo came by and prepared a very reasonable quote in a few days. He picked the best material (wood with almost no knots). He builds things with the right design and material, going the extra length to do a quality job. He is prompt, fast, and open to changes as things come up.
I have used many contractors, and Gerardo and his team are the best I have seen. I will be calling him again.

The owner of this business is Gerardo Rivas, a licensed general contractor. He does big and handyman-​type jobs. He recently replaced some sheetrock in my bedroom ceiling, as the previous sheetrock was so cracked that one side of it was lower than the other. He and his brother did an excellent job, including painting, and matched it perfectly to the existing sheetrock. Gerardo himself works every job and supervisors any other workers. He is very polite, personable, punctual, and easy to talk to and work with. His prices are very reasonable and competitive. I intend to have him do a lot of other work, mostly in our backyard – such as fixing a huge but dilapidated planter box that extends the entire length of our back fence. He does excellent fence work, too. If you want a good job done well and in a timely manner, Gerardo is your man! The best way to reach him is by e-​mail:
