Barbara Wu, DDS

I don’t give many 5 Star ratings but Barbara earned this one. Needed some work done on a tight schedule, she made things work with both my schedule and insurance. The work she did was top notch and in fact it seems I fell asleep during the process. Top notch doc, highly recommended.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while now, but just never got around to it. Dr. Wu and Lisa are fantastic!
For one of first visits I had to go in for a cavity fill and I was more than a little traumatized by drills. But they had a good rapport that helped calm me down. The cavity filling wasn’t even that bad, relatively painless, and efficient. It’s just 90% nerves. And Lisa’s pretty funny.
My teeth look good. I’ll probably keep coming here. ¹⁰⁄₁₀

I just started going to Dr. Wu since my Dad recommended her and it has been the best recommendation! I live in Palo Alto and do the commute to San Jose because it is truly worth it. Dr. Wu is so friendly and easy to talk to. She also is very responsive via email if you have any questions.
I am getting veneers at her practice, and am currently are wearing temporary caps Dr. Wu put in to see what they will look like. She even squeezed me in early before my Christmas vacation so that I can have nice teeth and followed up with me via email to make sure I was happy and that everything was alright.
I highly recommend Dr. Wu!

Dr. Wu is an excellent dentist! I was very nervous about having an implant done and she explained everything to me and made me feel at ease during the procedure. Most importanlty it was painless! She is very professional and friendly, and takes her time explaining all options available with her patients.
I’m glad I found her and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist.

I’m totally satisfied with the treatment and the care given by Dr. Wu. Without a doubt, Dr. Wu is the kindnest, most gentle and caring dentist I’ve had. Dr. Wu really cares about each patient individually. I had a tooth extraction done by Dr. Wu and it was totally painless. I bought my dad to Dr. Wu’s office because he needed to get dental implants (My dad had a loose tooth and several missing teeth). Dr. Wu took time to diagnosis, explain and give my dad the best options for his health and his budget. He just had a tooth extracted and 4 implants placed by Dr. Wu. My dad was extremely pleased with the excellent care from Dr. Wu during the implant procedure.
It is nice that all procedures were done in her comfortable office. Absolutely a great dental office! The office is clean and welcoming with friendly and helpful staff. I’m so happy that I chose Dr. Wu to take care of our dental needs. Thank you for the professional, kind and courteous service provided at Dr. Wu’s dental office.
I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants the best dental care from a skilled, experienced, and caring dentist.

My entire family has been coming to Dr. Wu for years, after hopping around from dentist to dentist trying to find one we liked.
Dr. Wu is always consistent in her friendliness and quality of work. She is always conscious of what is best for her patients and takes deliberate care in implementing whatever work needs to be done.
We’ve all had filling and crowns flawlessly done over the years. I’m starting Invisalign with her and could not be more thrilled! The results are bound to be phenomenal.
Paula and Lisa are also gems. The are so sweet and friendly. Whether you’re waiting in the lobby with Lisa, or getting prepped by Paula you feel comfortable and at ease.
I would recommend Dr. Wu to anyone with my highest regards.

I’ve been going to Dr. Wu for several years now, and I have only good things to say. She is always very friendly and extremely conscientious about her work (at which she is quite skilled).
I had to have a filling recently, and Dr. Wu did a really fantastic job. The procedure was relatively painless and she removed the decay very carefully to save as much of my tooth as possible. The cavity was in one of my front teeth and I was worried it would be unsightly, but the filling is completely invisible and no one can tell I even had the procedure done.
Long story short, I started seeing Dr. Wu when I lived nearby in north SJ, and now that I live in Santa Clara I drive across town to see her rather than go to another dentist. Highly recommended to anyone.

Been going to Dr. Wu for over 3 years. Great and friendly staff. Dr. Wu is very caring and good at what she does. I had all 4 of my wisdom tooth removed by her; at first I was skeptical and anxious, but her excellent skills and careful hands disprove all that. I’m glad i chose her as my dentist.
Down to earth, young and skillful dentist.
