Best sandwich place around by far, which says a lot considering we live throwing distance from any given Subway, Togos, etc. :)

I work pretty close to Beach Hut Deli, so I decided to give it a try one day for lunch. I went in about 2:00pm on a Friday afternoon, and it was pretty quiet with only a few other customers in the place(which is to be expected at that time). I got the Surfin’ Bird(with no bacon– yuck) on the sourdough. Maybe it was because I was the only one waiting for a sandwich, but they took their time with making it. Although, I didn’t mind because the sandwich ended up being well made, it wasn’t just a bunch of ingredients thrown together sloppily between two pieces of bread. The sandwich was pretty good! Very filling. I’ll probably be back the next time I have a hankering for a sandwich.

Stood at the register for At least 5 minutes before someone took my order. Had a hard time figuring out what to try. The girl talked me into the Malibu. Took another 10 minutes to get my food. Bread was already soggy From the pastrami grease when i got it that it fell apart. I wouldn’t say it was great, but it was good. Will definitely come back and try something else as I saw many items that looked better than what I got. And when I have more time for their wait.

Way too spicy! I ordered the Pig and it was over-the-top spicy. I wish the menu or staff would have at least warned me… Won’t be back.

Beach Hut Deli is located in the shopping center with the Lucky’s and Armadillo Willy’s on Camden Ave. The sandwiches have been excellent the few times we have been here. Be warned that the prices are on the high end for what you expect from a sandwich shop but if you want a step up from Togo’s or Erik’s than it is worth it. Seating is fairly limited.

1st time here and had the small hobie. Bread was fresh and the portion was decent. The service response was a little sketch when I didn’t leave a tip(automated tip calculator when paying by cc). I did wait a while for my sandwich but it was my mistake as I was reading. Bad news good news, when I opened up my sandwich it was the wrong one. Apparently someone had picked up my sandwich and took off. I brought this to Brandy and she quickly took care of it. She asked if it was togo and I said I’m eating half here and taking the rest home. Unbeknownst to me, she made half Togo and half for here! Awesome job Brandy!!! I will def come back.

The surf/beach theme of BHD is fun! All booths have it’s own tv. And beer is served! Sweet! I had the Surf’n Bird with sprouts, no lettuce. The meat was packed but typical cold cuts. Next time, I’ll try something off the hot menu. I noticed majority of the sandwiches comes with cream cheese(interesting!). The employees I encountered are all young, pretty gals. My cashier was very nice! Maybe BHD will slowly become Hooters of the sandwich world?!((just kidding))

Came here for lunch and oh my goodness! DELICIOUS! I ordered the Big Kahuna, which was a little spicy but not overpowering to the point where I couldn’t eat it. Next time I’m definitely going to order extra pineapple, and maybe less meat because I was unable to close my roll and eat it like a normal sandwich. Overall, this place is a great lunch option. And the seating is cool, they have surfboards as tables. I love the tiki-Hawaiian vibe!

This place is super cool. They put cream cheese and there sandwiches and its REALLY good. The whole layout of the place is really fun and different. I’ve been once where I didn’t love my sandwich choice. But for the most part, it’s a really good place to get a sandwich. I highly recommend it.

Yum! Great place to grab a sandwich and a tasty beer! Lots of craft beers on tap. I ordered the medium sized sandwich(bad mistake-that thing is gigantic). Next time, I would order a small and split it with my girlfriend. The cream cheese spread is unnecessary, if you are counting calories, but yummy if you don’t care. The place is small inside. There is a bar, and has a few TV screens if you need to stay updated on a game. This place is extremely casual and chill. Some kids and families. I will come back.

Vast menu but aside from a few uniquely Hawaiian sandwiches(Kahlua pork), most were different variations of turkey, roast beef, ham. I got the bikini something or other which was turkey, cream cheese, cranberry, sprouts, sunflower seeds on wheat. Tasty and filling but not remarkably different or memorable. My coworker got a BBQ chicken sandwich and commented on how large the small was– which is good when you’re paying $ 7 – 8 for just the sandwich. Service was fast. You order, they call out your band when done for you to pick up. I’m not sure why they serve sandwiches in a Frisbee(lined with passport of course). I guess it’s a beach/Hawaiian theme? I would have liked to see more things on the menu related to Hawaiian dishes-spam, Mac salad, etc This is a good place to stop for a quick and somewhat healthy lunch if you’re in the area but I wouldn’t make a trip of it.

Happened to be in the area and decided to try their sandwiches. It’s a small funky beach hut(as in the name) decorated restaurant/bar in the Camden Plaza. Easy to miss, tucked in between a bunch of businesses, not far from Pasta Pomodoro. The sandwich was good. Had the Shark Bite, ham, cream chesese, BBQ sauce, etc… quite the flavorful combo, lots of meat, fresh bread. Didn’t blow me away with something completely new, but the combo of ingredients made for a hearty sandwich far better than the chains like Subway. I’d go back, try something else. In the

I’m a huge sandwich fan and I can honestly say this place has some of the best hot sandwiches I’ve ever had. If you like tasty meat, cheese, and sauces then look no further. I highly recommend the Pig Kahuna or any of the hot sandwiches with the Tabasco-BBQ sauce. The interior has a great local Hawaiian feel to it and they serve some tasty draft beer.

I usually don’t really dig sandwiches places but I must say that The beach hut deli has some cool features(even though there is a bit of a queuing during lunch time)! First of all, they serve draft beer. This is nice for a sandwich place. It’s even a bit pity that they close so early in the evening. Second, the decoration and atmosphere is really fun(beachy) and chilling. Last but not least: I think they make one of the best vegetarian sandwich I ever had. I often do veggies sandwich as I don’t like processed meat. Most of the time it’s hard to find a tasty veggie sandwich but Beach hut did a very good job. It was tasty and not dry like many other places. Portions are big! I could barely finish my 9″ sandwich! Sandwiches are served in a frisbee used as a plate. Cool.

Absolutely love this place! Staff is friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. Also had a great conversation with the owner who was super awesome. Menu is pretty simple(About 15 sandwiches) but all very tasty looking. They also have one of those new fangled coke machines with 8 billion soda options! Sandwich sizes are pretty huge, small i believe is about 9″ and they PACK each sandwich with the selected ingredients. Sanwhiches taste amazing and definitely are a great bang for your buck Will definitely be back.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile, and popped in on Friday before noon. I was a bit hungover and just wanted to hurry up and get my sandwich, but I noticed there were at least 10 others waiting for their sandwich after I place my turkey and cheese sandwich order. I saw one employee making the sandwiches, the other was the one at the register. I waited 25 minutes for a sandwich with turkey cheese and veggies. One thing I was so looking forward to was that they put alfalfa sprouts on their sandwich and as my sandwich was handed, he said they ran out. He then offered me a free bag of chips, which was nice. I had thought while sitting there miserably for my sandwich that that was the least they could do for making everyone wait so long during the lunch rush. Sandwich was just okay. They put a ton of meat, but nothing stood out compared to other popular sandwich joints. Prices are fair, and I do like how you have the options of ordering a small, medium, or large.

Deep in the heart of Silicon Valley, lies one of the best salad delis in town. We encountered beach hut deli through a friend and have tried their delicious sandwiches. However, if you’re looking for a hearty, healthy and refreshing meal, go for their super salad in a regular size or a supersize. I think I like the most about this salad is the quinoa and fresh vegetables to the max! Their house vinaigrette dressing is to die for, along with their delicious fresh greens and vegetables. You get your choice of salad greens, I recommend the Romain lettuce, Along with all the fixings. Not to mention their salad in a regular size is huge and enjoyable for two. The deli does not mind splitting the cell into two containers. Love the service, Brianna and Brandy are very hospitable and the whole team is very welcoming at their establishment. Highly recommended by all means.

I have come here quite a few times to grab lunch with friends. On my most recent visit, I brought my boyfriend along to try one of their delicious sandwiches. We both ordered a sandwich and a beer. I ordered a medium sized, cold Santa Cruz sandwich which tasted absolutely delicious. I ordered it with everything except onions. It was pretty large. I ate about three fourths of it and my boyfriend ate the rest. They put a very generous amount of meat and avocado in it, which was expected since the sandwich was on the more pricey side. The bread tasted fresh as well as all the produce within the sandwich no think that the cream cheese they put into their sandwiches give the sandwich a little more oomph and«mmmm.» The beer was good as always. I was pleasantly surprised that they had 805 and Firestone Walker beer in tap. I decided to try the Fresh Squeezed IPA. It was one of the more bitter IPA’s I’ve had but it was tasty. We arrived for a slightly early lunch so we missed the crowd that came in for lunch. The place can definitely get busy as well as the parking but the line moves relatively quickly and there’s indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. 4 stars for delicious sandwiches, tasty beer and friendly staff. I just wish the sandwiches were a little cheaper in price.

After work when I’m craving for a sandwich, I go here to order a takeout. The employees are very nice in person and on the phone. The truly know how to treat their customers. The beach burger is my favorite.
