Only place around here I could find that does men’s hair and is open Mondays. Friendly, quick, accurate service. Every employee acted like I was a regular — super considerate. Not a barber, so no shave. $ 20 plus tip for men’s cut.

Went today for a hair cut at Great Clips. Ellen did a great job. Service fast very fast without any waiting. Only bad thing on great clips is that it is very pricy.

I received a message from the manager shortly after I wrote this review, which is the reason why I am updating the review and giving another star. I was asked to come back in and was offered a hair cut on the house. I didn’t go back because I am a busy person but I am very happy that she took time out her day to write me back. Thank you for your generosity!

I’ve been here a total of 3 times. The first two visits, my hair was cut the way I wanted exactly I’ve had the same style for years now which is just a basic undercut from the sides and about 3 inch from the bottom buzzed. Went in today, as I was so positive my hair would have turned out great I allowed a new stylist to cut my hair, Ellen, but I did not leave happy. I showed her a photo of how I wanted it cut. Just the sides and bottom of the back of my hair buzzed and the rest of my hair blended to fall over the buzz. My hair was COMPLETELYSHAVEDOFF with only the top left as it was. She tried to fix it, but couldn’t and said it was because of my cow lick. OKAY but it wouldn’t have been a problem if you had just double checked with me before hacking off all of my hair so I could leave my phone out for you to reference the style. I did not want a sleeked back, pompadour, man-bun haircut. There was no reason to shave the sides and back off completely to the point where it looked nowhere near to my old haircut. My hair will grow back, but I’m very disappointed because my prior haircuts here were amazing and I failed to remember the stylist who did my hair before. This third visit just ruined it. I’ll be back, but I definitely will not be letting anyone touch my hair unless I see the stylist who had cut my hair during my first and second visit.

I was a regular at this place and all that was ruined by the staff who lied to me and kept me waiting. So I walk in and there is no wait. I’m waiting for them to check me in because I completely forgot you can check in online. After two minutes of still waiting, a person does a check in online and is now first in line. Ok, no big deal. My fault I should have checked in. I wait another five minutes, and that person isn’t here yet. So one of the stylists is now ready to take me in and just my luck, the guy walks in with his son. No problem, that’s fine he can go. However, this where the story takes a turn. The stylist told the guy that she is going to take me in first because I was here BEFORE he checked in online. And the guy says«No problem! That’s ok.» And then she tells me «I just need to clean my area and I’ll take you.» And then after she is finished, she tells me «Well, he checked in first. So I have to take him.» I tell her that is ok. But this guy only checked in himself and his son needs a hair cut too. So the two stylists are telling each other«This man only checked in himself and doesn’t have his son on the list.» Which was great because then I’d be next. But NO. They take the son AND his father. At this point, I’m heated. I waited 20 minutes for nothing and was lied to about being next AFTER the guy in front of me approved I can go ahead of him and son. Unbelievable. Great Clips lost one of its loyal customers.

I didn’t have to explain the hair cut I wanted for my son… I had photos. Even better than just a description, right? Photos from the front, sides and back, of him from the last time he got a haircut at the Robertsville barber shop. «No problem» she said. Well, he got a completely different haircut. Short all over, uneven, stray hair, no hard part as the photo very clearly showed. And we left with hair clippings all over his face. Pay for a cheap haircut… get a cheap haircut. I got a coupon in the mail for a $ 7.99 haircut and that’s why we went to Great Clips, saving $ 9 was definitely a mistake. When my son’s hair grows out enough to get a real hair cut, we will go back to Sophie at Robertsville and not get suckered again by

If you want an 80s haircut go here. I went in tonight to get a simple but not horribly ugly cut and the girl obviously had no idea what I meant. We agreed long in the front short in the back and she made it the same length all around. After I saw that I said just cut it shorter because she couldn’t save the mess she made and I just wanted it out of my way. I will never go back, I’d rather pay a ridiculous amount of cash for a nice haircut and know it will look good. Not to mention she charged me $ 35 for a wash and cut? That’s a little much for this cheap hair cut chain. You’ve been warned!

I’ve got a kid with fine, wavy hair that likes to stick up like Alfalfa from the Rascals. It’s been tricky finding a cheap but competent place that understands how to cut his hair so it lies flat. I forgot the name of the girl who did his cut here but she did a great job. I prefer the younger workers because they seem to listen better and their training is a bit fresher. The older ladies never seem to believe me that it’s going to stick up and cut it wrong. You pretty much get what you pay for here, but I’m happy with it thus far.

Enjoyable experience — served fast and a good haircut. People all speak great english and it is new and clean. Added plus — right next to Armadillo Willy for a convenient lunch stop.

$ 16 for a haircut but that excludes $ 8 more for a sideburn, mustache or beard trim! No thanks. And why do they need to ask you for your phone number? Who do they sell your information to! Rhetorical. Pass!

I went here because I got coupons in the mail and I love a deal. Have gone twice so far because its been a satisfying experience. The first time I just wanted a trim because I was growing out my hair and Dora did exactly what I asked for. Today, I went back to cut it short and asked for Dora but she had moved, so Jessica took care of me. She had a really cute short haircut, so that was encouraging. I wanted to send my hair to locks of love and she measured the 10 inches and showed me so I could decide how much more i wanted cut. She asked where I wanted layers and did exactly what I requested. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Hi this is an updated review. My last review I said that it would take my grandson and and see if they were as good as they were with my son. Well I am happy to say they were very good. I went in there with a picture of how I wanted his hair to be cut, and my grandson was also very specific at the age of 9. She did an amazing job. We used coupon so the price was $ 6.99 for a haircut. She took her time and she was very attentive. Made small talk with him made him feel important. I was very happy. Here are before and after pictures. We will be going back.

Edit: the store called and asked if I’d like to get an update on my hair cut free of charge for a re-evaluation of their services and my review. So I went in and took them up on the offer. It turned out great, and the stylist really listened to how I wanted it. Honestly though had it not been free, theres no way it would have been worth $ 17 plus tip. The $ 6.99 grand opening sale is over unfortunately, so now you’re looking at $ 20 for a standard haircut. So that’s the tradeoff. They do good work, but also ask a high price.

This great clips location just opened(replacing a different haircutting business that recently closed) and they currently have a $ 6.00 grand opening special(the regular price is $ 17) so I thought I would check it out. I was not disappointed. Jessica did a great job and I plan on returning!
