Fast service Quality work they repaired the nail in my tire for only $ 10 in 15 minutes!

Needed a tire repair. Drove up, was immediately taken care of. 15 bucks to repair a tire in under 15 minutes.
By contrast, I attempted to go to Pep Boys previously. Made an appointment online, but was turned away when I arrived, saying there would be an hour and a half wait. What’s the point of making an appointment then?
I love it when the mom-​and-​pop small business out performs the big corporate guys. Nice job, Calderon.

I came here in August of 2015 for a set of 4 new tires, which I paid over $ 500 for. 2 months later I went to get an oil change at a spot I been going to for years. They told me they couldn’t rotate my tires because all the lug nuts were stripped. In order to do the rotation I needed to replace the stripped lug nuts. Thanks to Calderon Tires I had to pay $ 120 to replace 10 lug nuts. Now it’s June 2016 and I’m told that the back tires are balding. I couldn’t understand how that was possible if I apparently paid for 4 new tires not even a year before. Especially since I’ve only drove my car less than 8k miles within that time frame. I thought they might be exaggerating but when I looked at the back tires they were indeed bald. My regular mechanic said that it looked like they only put 2 new tires on the car. Its completely ridiculous! Do not go to this place if you don’t want to end up spending more money after the fact. It’s cost more than $ 400 to replace the horrible job they did.

Went today got there at 5:55 the service worker pointed at where to park so I pulled in. As soon as I pulled in I made a comment stating how I was glad I made it in time before they closed then he tells me I may not even feel like doing it. then I say well it’s not even 6 yet I mean it’s just like when you go to a restaurant and it’s right before they close if you’re still eating they’re not going to make you leave then he comes back with a smart-​ass comment talking about well this and I Restaurant! I’m like what?! because at that point I’m like really confused on why I’m being disrespected after I set up there with a smile on my face and was really polite about the whole situation. Then he comes out with two used tires and tried to charge me 150 for used tires!!! Mind you I just went there about 8 months ago and bought two back tires for 80 bucks and he going to tell me we never have tires for that price??? I just felt like they were ready to go home and didn’t feel like doing it. I am more upset because he made it seem like I was going to ask them to do more than 10 minutes of work on my car. Never again will I ever be doing business with them!

I’ve never had fast service in my life. Literally pulled into the garage. He took my tire off, told me what was wrong with it, fixed it and I was on my way. Person who helped me, is Ermundo. Josefina at the front desk was a sweet lady.

I hardly ever give bad reviews, but yesterday I found out at California Wheels, which happens to have 5 Unilocal stars, that the rims in my car are the wrong ones. It’s just a couple of centimeters off, but they shouldn’t have done that. Now it’s costing me $ 300 to get that fixed, and I’m lucky none of the bolts broke off.

So I recently got new rims for my Tundra and needed my existing tires swapped over to the new wheels. Pretty simple right? So I called and asked these guys for a price to mount and balance and they gave me a price over the phone. The price was about $ 60 for the set. I figured that was reasonable and they were able to get me in the same day. I drove over there and then they tell me the price was going to be $ 140. Im not sure what changed during the time I talked to them over the phone and Drive over there.
Im pretty unhappy about them switching up the pricing on me with out warning. Imagine if someone had a flat tire and they had no choice. these guys could rip anyone off and the customer wont have a choice.

I went on a Sunday morning, they were really busy. Since all they had to do was patch up the tire, one of the guys took me first and patched it up within 5 minutes. I was in and out within 10. Great and fast service!

Great services and reasonable prices. They were efficient with the services. The tires are great quality. Definitely recommend it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Clearly by the reviews its a hit or miss for some but I had a great experience. Thought I was going to have to pay a grip of money for a new tire and the labor but I did not. They were extremely friendly and i was in and out in less then 30 minutes. As long as I live in San Jose I will always go to Calderon Tire. =)

Just bought new tires and rims from there yesterday. We walked in yesterday asking for prices on rims for my 2012 Scion Tc. The owner (older lady) who ran the place guaranteed my father, sister and I that the price was 1,250 for the complete job, we asked her if that included the alignment and balancing. She said «It will include everything, balancing etc and the alignment will not be necessary». 5 hours later after they also installed new back brakes and rotors for 210 dollars (on top of the 1,250) the mechanic mentions to us that its going to be yet another 100 dollars for the alignment. We mentioned to him that the lady in charge told us before anything was done to the car that it was going to be 1,250 with everything included and the alignment wouldn’t be necessary.
The mechanic told us that we had to go back inside and come to an agreement with the lady because he wasn’t there when my family spoke with her. HE said that the alignment was necessary and if it wasn’t done that the tires would wear out within a month.
I thought fair enough, I walk in with my father and younger sister to talk to the lady in charge and she denies ever saying that the alignment wasn’t necessary. I got angry because now she is lying to our faces and claiming that she never said anything. She leaves the room several times and the mechanic is calling me rude for being upset, saying how he could have done the alignment for free if i didn’t get upset. I called BS and told him that they needed to be upfront and honest with their customers before the job began and not surprise them near the end with extra labor. At this point the mechanic and myself are raising our voices at each other, the lady in charge returns and tells him «Stop yelling, don’t lower yourself to his standards».
Im reading others reviews and all I’m going to say is believe what others are saying, this is the second time we have gone there to get rims for a car and the second time they want to surprise us with extra charges after the job begins.

Rating 1 star based off of two sepperate experiences. 1^st time going here I called before hand and was quoted $ 70 for each used tire making a total of $ 140. I went on site to only be discouraged by the owner talking me that my quote over the phone was false. (Her husband who amswered) was not authorized to give me such quote and demanded $ 90 for each used tire (one had a plug and near 50% tread life) this was unreasonable! after confronting her she left the room and dogged me for nearly half an hour and taking care of everyone else. After finally being fed up and raising my voice to all workers they decided to finally work on my car an hour later. This was a nightmare! My tire was completely popped so I had to go with their price. The second visit was not as bad but was the same situation. I called before hand to make sure they had the tire I needed. I took time off work drove over waited 20 minutes to find out they did NOT have the tire. When I called I was talking to the female owner again and she assured me they had one. After talking to her in person she was incorrect and only wanted to sell me a new tire. I am outraged at this point with her and her service. I highly suggest you go anywhere else as you will taking a risk at bad management and waiting around for nothing.

DO NOT GO HERE! You want cheap and ghetto, you’ll get cheap and ghetto! I waited for almost 3 hours here. I was quoted $ 75 for an allignment, and $ 75 for a pair or sway bar links installed. I was waiting in 93° heat, with no A/​C. The mechanic is sitting around on his phone while he’s waiting for the part to get delivered. They don’t say anything to me, just constantly speaking Spanish to each other. Then the owner/​manager comes to speak to me, trying to get more money from me. He was saying that the mechanic charged me without charging for labor, or under charged me. He wasn’t making clear sense. He was saying that he payed like $ 60 for the parts, and he charged me only $ 75. I told him that that’s what the mechanic charged me. I even asked him a second time, if $ 75 included the two sways and the installation, and he said yes, but this guy was asking for more money, even though I already payed the $ 150. I even showed the guy that the parts weren’t that expensive. I went on both Ebay and Amazon and showed him different prices for the sway bar links, which were averaging $ 22 a piece ($ 44 a pair). He wasn’t believing it, and he said he was paying a lot more. He said that the online prices weren’t real! Come on, are you serious?! The guy was full of sh-​t! He said he was going to fire the mechanic, which is very unprofessional for him to even say to a customer. I told him I was there for almost 3 hours, and no one was telling me anything. He said he was losing business because my car was on the lift and there were customers waiting, and tried to blame everything on me?! WHAT!!! Are you serious! Honestly, I’m afraid that they did something to my car!!!

Good Service. $ 10 to repair a slow leak on my tire.

Took a truck in to remove a screw from the tire. They charged $ 20 this time. Maybe because it was a bigger tire or they’ve just raised the price.

I got another nail in my tire, and I initially brought it to the dealership to have them take a look at it. They said I would need it replaced and it would cost $ 350. Oh hell no. I had them put my spare on instead while I looked up a tire place.
My boyfriend and his dad had been going to Cauldrons for years and they suggested this place. Upon entering their driveway, I was a bit sketch. However, a guy came up and assisted me right away. He looked at the tire and said it could be easily patched up! Woohoo! He took it off, patched it, put it back on, all within 15 minutes. And how much did this cost me? Only a ten dolla bill, y’all. Just watch out when you enter and leave the place — scrapped my car :(

I came here the other day because one of my tires was starting to bubble from the inside wall so I called Calderon and luckily they had my awkward tire size (235,35,20)
I pulled up and was in and out. The man who helped me was so kind and knowledgeable. This is me new go to tire shop! You are in and out and the prices are the best!

Horrible horrible horrible. We waited 2 HOURS, 2 HOURS! !! Then they changed the price last minute stating that the balancing cost more. Avoid this place if you are in a hurry.

I’ve been here once when my front right tire gave out on me. The service is pretty fast. In and out within 1 hour. The price was decent as well: I got 2 new tires for 180.
The person who worked on my car was friendly and he did not try to push me to replace all 4 of my tires. He only recommended one other tire be replaced and explained why the other 2 were just fine. I appreciate the honest business.
I think they’re a great mom and pop store and are honest. They do good work and you won’t have to wait around to be serviced.

I’m a very happy customer so far.
The staff was friendly and johny-​on-​the-​spot. I will say it is up to the customer to check the tires… the first they presented to tires with a lot of tread left, but they had patches, with one tire having a patch in the side wall. For me, that is a no-​no for safety. However, they accepted my opinion with good courtesy, went back into the piles and found outstanding tires for my hard-​to-​fit SUV.
Paying $ 85 per tire, including installation and tax was great. These 2011 model-​year tires had no tread wear at all — still had the little rubber «nipples» from the extrusion process. That means less than ~100 miles by my estimate. I would have spent $ 220 for each at a discount shop, and $ 160 per tire if I got the cheapest available tires on the market.
So, I am delighted.
