Computerized Tinting

This would be my third time here and its gone downhill. I called in to get a quote on my new car and was told $ 400 for the CTX (fair). I arrived at 10am for my appointment and the installer came out and said my car needed a liner and removal of door panels. Then said it was going to cost more than what was quoted over the phone. Shaddy business practices. I went and called other tint shops (Omega/​MisterTint) and all of them said no liner or removal of door panel is needed for the car. So I left and will never be returning.
I thought I found a new tint shop in San Jose, but cannot support businesses that waste customers time by quoting low and charging high once you get there.

Great service and very friendly staff. Very clear on differences in available tint products and clarity. Let’s customers decide for themselves which product to get without any added pressure. Very experienced and professional tinting staff. Would definitely recommend all my friends and family.

Errrrr my god, I found the place! It was a bit difficult to find it since it is sorta hidden… Anyways, my boyfriend brought in his 2013 Honda Civici to get all 5 windows tinted. Hung was the associate who was helping us and he was so friendly and informative. He kept us updated on the status of our service through out the process. Hung made sure the tint was applied with perfection! While applying the tint on one of the windows, they found a very small piece of lint and re applied a whole new tint! That’s awesome customer service because I know for sure I wouldn’t have spotted that on my own. I dropped off my car around 10am and it was finished by 12pm. At the end process, he explained that we should not roll down the windows for the next 3 – 4 days to make sure the tint does NOT mess up! Talk about fast and efficient service. Plus, their prices are very affordable. My boyfriend was super excited. I will be recommending this place to all of my family and friends! Thanks guys!

With tints, it’s hard to review the workmanship until you’ve given them full exposure to the elements but so far I would say that my experience was the same as most other Unilocalers. The service is fast and courteous. The tint looks great on the car and no problems yet. The price is very reasonable, too.
I would recommend others to try this place out.

Kind of difficult to find so you really have to be on the lookout upon arrival. All the guys here are nice and pretty helpful when you are trying to figure out which tint you are wanting.
The tint came out pretty clean, and looked really nice. I however had to take my car back a few times because the film got bunched up at the bottom and started to rip. The good thing is that they have a lifetime warranty which is really awesome.
I would recommend going here, good pricing and good service.

I made an appt here for my sister’s car based on a referral from a friend. It was a pleasure working with Computerized Tinting, from scheduling the appt, to rescheduling, to picking out the tint, to the final product. Hung was very helpful and was thorough in his explanations between the tint colors, type/​brand and process. The prices are competitive and come with lifetime warranty! The car looks great! I’m super picky about my vehicle & honestly it scares me to let anyone touch my interior. I came here based on the excellent reviews & a few friends recommended this place. I’ve had 3 cars done here & everytime the job has been done clean with no problems. The price is fair. It usually takes about 3 – 4 hours. Definitely will come back. Thanks guys!
Just a heads up: if you see any bubbles at first, don’t panic! I had about 2 – 3 small bubbles each time that are gone by the next day. :-)

Update after i noticed my tints werent dark enough and they look green and brown. I called them to let them know and they were trynna charge me 200 $ for just the back windshield. So disappointed. I went to Mr. Tint instead and they give discount when you mention Unilocal.My window tints actually look black now. Not brown. Smh. To think i was so happy with this place. Never again.

I am quite impressed with the quality and customer service of this tint shop. I was able to choose the the exact shade that since they had sample glass pieces and placed it against my window. The technician also provided recommendations on what would look bad and nice for my car. He was also very thorough with the instructions on what to do and what not to do after the job was done. Went here based on a recommendation from a friend. I have been to other shops with my previous vehicles. But all of them I always had issues with. I have a 2015 Subaru STi with 9 windows. Prices was very reasonable. Owner explained the benefits of all the tint he sells. Went over routine of front tint is not legal. Got the Llamar 20% all around. When I picked it up, it was perfect. No dust, no bubbles, no issues. Really happy about the workmanship. Lifetime warranty on the Llamar tint. Can’t beat that.
Must use? Yes.
Use again? When I have a new car.

I would have given this place 5 stars but… The guy had the nerve to straight BS and lie to me. One year ago I hot a tint on my EVO 9 all 4 +rear $ 180. I call today to ask about my BMW 328i 4 door same amount of windows and window size and he said $ 250. I asked why such a difference when the evo windows are same size if not bigger. And he says film prices go up every year and operating costs. Film prices have not changed in price significantly since a year ago and car windows are around same size. I don’t see how $ 80 increase is justified, but he stuck by his story. Maybe he thought I didn’t know better. Too bad I am a car enthusiast and do my research before I call places. Was my EVO tint a good job?? Yes;That’s why I was going back, but I don’t appreciate lies from a business. So I won’t go back or recommend this place to any of my friends like I used to.

Took my X5 here to get tinted based on recommendations from a couple friends. I opted for the premium ceramic tint since it blocks more heat versus the standard tint.
From the service to the quality of work and attention to detail, everything was perfect. My interior came back cleaner than when I dropped it off because it was wiped down.
It’s been a couple months now and no issues.

What everybody else said! It’s that good, just go here, it’s done right, on time, with various options and fairly priced!
Computerized Tinting did a beautiful job on my black on black ’12 328i. I went with 35% on the front sides and 20% on the back, perfect in my opinion.

Found this place on Unilocal and was not disappointed. I called in and made an appointment, got a reminder call the day before, took her in, chose my tint, ran some errands, got a call in 3 hours to pick her up, pretty darn easy. The job looks good, the staff was professional, the quality is great and I am happy with the price I paid.

We just recently took our Lexus in to get tinted. I must say, HUNG did a flawless job! Thank you so much. I am so happy now because not only does the tints help block excessive sunlight, but it helps keep cool in the car. This year has been a hot summer compared to previous years here in California. We got 50% tints & it is lifetime warranty too! The car looks so much better with tints, it just brings out the color of the car more. I think every car looks way better with tints.

It’s times like this that you realize the true value of Unilocal.My wife recently got our car (Lexus IS250) tinted, and it was because of the stellar reviews that we chose Computerized Tinting. Well, the reviews are right on! What an incredible business. We’ve had our tinting for about a week now and we’re absolutely thrilled by the results. The car is kept cooler and we’re not blinded by that California sun when we’re sitting in traffic (and it’s always sunny here). There is also the added bonus of looking cool.
She was able to get a small discount by paying cash; probably because they get to avoid all those darn transaction fees. I’d totally recommend this place to anyone (and I guess I am by writing this review), and I’d also tell them to bring lots of hard currency. 5 stars!

I sign up for Unilocal just to write this review. I’m not a writer so I will keep this short. First up I would like to say thank you to Tony and Hung for the excellent work and advice they’ve given me.
I wanted to tint my drive/​passenger windows to look like the stock tint. Tony was very helpful with picking the perfect match. Hung tinted my previous vehicle so I trusted him with my new Highlander. No mess was found in my car after the installation. Very clean and professional work! Lifetime warranty!

Computerized Tinting is legit. They did a great tint job on my BMW. Top notch professional shop and great customer service. I was thinking that I would probably get 40% tint. Tony showed me the difference of a few different shades and we decided on the 30% all around which I’m happy I got, and it was very reasonably priced.
The service that I got on my car was done really well. I had heard about this place from my cousin and I saw they had done a good job on his car.

If you need to pimp/​tint your ride then this is the place to go to in San Jose!
After calling a few places around for quotes and checking out the reviews on Unilocal,I decided to go with Computerized Tinting. Not only was their price reasonable but they also offered LIFETIME WARRANTY on their Window Tints!!!
This place is located near Almaden Expressway and Alma Rd, if you live in San Jose you know’z what I am talking about. They have a few spots in front of their warehouse so parking should not be a problem when coming here.
They offer 50% to 5% tint and they also have special tint film like Llumar CTX which I might be looking to get on my car soon. My brother just needed something dark and within a reasonable price for his car so we went with the Llumar ATC at 5%, peep out the pic.
Results were great and I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to get their windows tinted at a real good price with lifetime warranty!

Brought my gf’s Lexus RX350 here based on a friend’s recommendation. I got there and spoke to Hung. He seemed very determined to find the right product for me. I went with his recommendation and got the 40% ceramic tint for the front windows.
Got the car back the same day and results were good. Dark enough to block out the sun and for some privacy, but not so dark where cops are always gonna harrass you. Did not observe any dust or bubbles or any other kind of imperfection. Plus he said you get lifetime warranty, so I guess it’s not an issue even if you notice anything bad.
Thanks for lacing me up! Will definitely bring my personal car here next.
