I highly recommend Custom Framing & World of Sports Memorabilia. I am a small non profit organization that does one event a year and they provided us with amazing sports memorabilia items. Out of 20 pieces, we sold 11 and made money for our organization. We provided the tables and they arranged to have it all delivered to us, and stayed throughout the event and took what we didn’t sell and even made the bid sheets for us. They were easy to work with and I look forward to having them again next year. We were skeptical in the beginning but overall it was the best decision I ever made.

Drove an hour across town to come to this store as we were looking for a special gift for someone. Spent 30 minutes trying to park on a Saturday only to walk up and see that the 2 kids working in the store had cones off spots to save for their friends. Went in to see a very small selection of items that was very low quality, with no price tags. We asked if the items comes with authenticity cards and the kid working said «yeah we can do something like that.» With that said, we walked out. Don’t waste your time on this store. Ugh!

Been going to Custom Framing for over a year now. This place does the best job I have seen in sports memorabilia framing. Santos is a stand up guy who provides great customer service. I highly recommend this place for all of your sports memorabilia framing. I f i could give it 6 stars I would. GO 9ERS!

I have been going to Santos for years for all my framing needs and they do not disappoint. They have great customer service, and quality work.

World of Sports Memorabilia is a family owned and operated business run by a guy named Santos. He is there pretty much all of the time and oversees day-​to-​day operations. He is awesome to work with and wish that all vendors could have his passion and customer service.
I recently worked in the front office for a prominent Bay Area professional sports team for several years. I was responsible for managing events and had to rely on Santos to help me out with getting memorabilia framed for charity events and for things to have prominently displayed in the front office. He always delivered first class quality work that the team could stand behind and never tried to take advantage of me or the team on price. He also was able to suggest ways and techniques to help enhance the piece by using special matting techniques or suggesting added small elements to boost the visual effects. I also do know that the players and alumns would also rely on him and some of the alums would even make official appearances at his shop for signing opportunities. I’d usually hear about it the next day because they would let me know that Santos said, «HI!» Needless to say, I was there often as we had yearlong needs.
I do recall seeing police officers come in to ask to use his restroom. It seemed like they knew each other as they were always joking around. I guess the location and ease of access makes it ideal for them. For me as a customer, it makes me feel a bit more at ease seeing them there. I also do recall that some would even come in and joke about arresting him just to razz him. I guess it’s a guy thing. I totally got the joke and it was funny. I think that Jose L. review was taken out of total context or overheard as I have seen this first hand. This is NOT TRUE. If it were, I am pretty sure that this would have made the evening news or paper as this would be something that would make for interesting news.
Bottom line, this place is worth checking out. You will get the best deal and quality.
TIP: Although this shop is located in Downtown San Jose next to SAP Arena (aka The Shark Tank), there is plenty of free parking. Don’t park across the street to pay. Just pull up to his shop and anticipate on parking front and center.

I recently came here again to get a picture I made for friend framed. My friend was moving out of town and I wanted something customized just for him. I came here and Santos and his employees we’re awesome. They took really good care of the photo and did a fantastic job with the frame. It was done within 2 days. Woo hoo!
I really recommend them for picture framing but if you love sports/​sports memorabilia you should check them out too. They have a lot of cool memorabilia and can custom the matting and frames.

World of sports has made many memories come true for me and my family. Not only is the product completely authentic, each piece is custom made with passion. Every purchase has been supplied with a high level of service and a eagerness to see us return. I keep coming back because of who they are. Oh and to some of the false comments of fake products and raids — seriously??? I would quickly remove this horrible attempt to hurt a small but mighty business before you pay for their next building. Its people like you that crush our economy and the people who are trying to grow it. World of Sports is absolutely authentic and I’m proud to say it. How or why — I have met Dwight Clark, Panda, Jeff Garcia, Frank Gore, Stephan Curry, Jerry Rice, Vernon Davis, Ken Stabler and many of the sharks. The list and experiences go on and on. So if you are questioning a visit — DON’T! I would highly recommend The Hernandez family and what they do for our Bay Area sports scene and the Memorabilia industry.

I had an autographed Frank Gore jersey and accompanying 8×10 photograph framed. It was done in a week and it came out absolutely beautiful! The work was first class and the price was very reasonable. They also have a very nice selection of already framed sports memorabilia. Highly recommended!

I needed a signed basketball jersey and two 16×20’s double matted and framed to match some of the things in the rest of my collection. Santos was able to deliver and for a very low price. They did a fantastic job and I plan to use them for all of my framing needs in the future.
They also have a great selection of other sports memorabilia on display at reasonable prices. I have recently purchased from them an autographed and framed Wayne Gretzky jersey as well as a 16×20 autographed by Bill Russell. Both are fantastic adds to my collection and look gorgeous. The only reason I do not give them a 5 star rating is because of the their lack of timing. I have made several trips down there, after they told me something would be ready, only to find out they were not and I was told to come back. Big waste of time.

I had a poker-​themed jersey display done here and the work was top notch. The display included a hockey jersey, photo and patch (
). It was completed in about 3 days and it looks great! It’s a black jersey against a white background with a red and thin black border that highlights the photo and patch.
A few days later, I went into a sports bar and saw a crappy Sharks jersey on display and I realized just how badly a memorabilia store can butcher a framing job. It was just a jersey against a white background and a black frame.
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because of the facility itself. it’s somewhat hard to find (I actually thought it was a house at first) and you have to park on a busy street. It seemed like they were in the process of moving, so when they’re done, perhaps I’ll upgrade the rating to a 5!

Man, I had quite a few pcs done here and let me tell you Santos is the MAN! You can tell when someone loves what he does and Santos does! His work is so freaking good that when your collectibles are done you are just in awe of how much more awesome they have been transformed. Just amazing! 100% class!

Thank you World of Sports Memorabilia for bringing the PANDA, Pablo Sandoval to the South south bay. I went here a couple weeks ago to buy my tickets and was helped by Ricardo and came back yesterday to meet Pablo Sandoval of the SF Giants.
Overall, I thought the event went by pretty smoothly even though I would have loved more time with Pablo I understand that it had to be efficient. All the staff that worked that day were very friendly and helpful. The signing fee was expensive but totally worth it for that moment with the big guy.
Good job at the event! :) Bring more of our favorite athletes to the area making some more magic moments.

Monta Ellis was here signing autographs yesterday. So I was surprised to see how small their selection of Golden State Warriors merchandise was, just one small rack of men’s jerseys. They weren’t allowing photos with Ellis so it wasn’t worth the 35 plus dollars to get an autograph. There was a decent turn out and he was wearing green in honor of the holiday.

Don’t let the exterior fool you — this is the place to go to frame your sports memorabilia.
Tucked away on a sidestreet near HP Pavilion (though it might move) Santos Hernandez is, I believe, at the top of his game. Or at least, that’s what I would guess from the work that was laying around ready to be delivered to his clients (including Jerry Rice — and some others whom even I, a non sports fan, recognized).
So why wouldn’t you go to who the pros go to? I had a pretty simple job — I got a rugby shirt framed (Wallabies, if you must know. Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi oi oi!) and I was pleased enough with the result.
This is not the place to go if you like luxurious surroundings (like, um, heat?) And I can’t say my phonecalls were ever returned. Nor was the work ready when it was supposed to be, so it’s a good thing I wasn’t in such a rush. But Santos is a really entertaining guy and if World of Sports is good enough for Jerry Rice, well, then how can it not be good enough for me – or you, for that matter?
