I had a large mole removed a few months ago here. It healed beautifully (I followed all the after care instructions) and there is hardly a scar! The area looks great! I would definitely recommend this place.

Kaiser needs to look into this facility — it seems like it’s totally disconnected from their policies and procedures.
The staff seemed very unorganized and did not know what they were doing as far as scheduling appointments, pricing, etc. I was there for two hours, mostly in the waiting room waiting. I did not feel well taken care of. Very unprofessional!
The Kaiser doctor I had was fine but I was surprised to find that the doctors are there only one day a week so it’s very difficult to get a follow up appointment with the same doctor.
After my procedure I waited in a room for a glass of water that never came.

I am shocked to read the reviews of this place!
First off, I had a consultation for a removal back in June. I was charged $ 100! I wanted to get this removal for the longest time! In the mean time, I unfortunately had family emergency so I didn’t get to go back in June! As time went by, school started so I got very busy going to school and working! Recently, I cut myself in the area I wanted the removal and contacted Dr. Pham. I was scheduled an appointment immediately.
The first time I met Dr. Pham, she was a very sweet doctor and super enthusiastic! I was so bummed i didn’t get what I wanted done because of my obligations. When I came in for my removal, not once did Dr. Pham made me feel uncomfortable for not scheduling an appointment immediately after my consultation! She was extremely friendly and very welcoming!
Anyways, just like the first time I met her, she was extremely enthusiastic, friendly, sweet, and very caring! She brought in two assistants (I want to give them credit but forgot their names (sorry!)) that held my hand and distracted me because I was terrified! We talked about random stuff which resulted in laughter the entire time! I was pretty distracted! I was told the procedure would take 2 minutes and that I wouldn’t be in pain! Well… guess what? It was the quickest procedure ever and I was no in pain at all! At the front desk, the employee asked if I had paid for consultation and I said I did. I didn’t have the old receipt with me but not once did she doubt me or ask me for proof! She immediately deducted 100 $ off the actual value! I was told they would do that back in June but I wasn’t sure because I came in 5 months later! It was very nice of them!
Dr. Pham’s and her two assistant’s customer service is an example of what every place offering service should treat their customers! They were very friendly, welcoming, and fun to talk to! Thank you so much ladies for the best experience ever! I would recommend everyone seeing Dr. Pham! You will not regret it!

Please stay AWAY from this place. You’re wasting money and time on an unprofessional and careless staff and service. Although my horrific experience was in November of of 2013, I’d recommend going here only as an April Fool’s prank to someone else. Perhaps if we interrogated terrorist suspects here, then we’d have successful confessions (as opposed to water-​boarding).
I’m shocked that Kaiser has ANY affiliation with this dump. In fact, I would have preferred vacation at the garbage dump over this place (well.maybe not).
Below is my original review of my last (and final) visit:
«I don’t want to leave a negative review, however based on my experience there a few weeks ago, I have no plans to ever return.
I’m sure there are folks who have had good experiences there, or else they wouldn’t still be in business.
But since I wasn’t a ‘high end’ client and only spent about $ 1K, perhaps this is why I received such bad quality treatment.
Three weeks ago I had a few moles removed — and the entire time I felt rushed as if I was on an assembly line. For example, even after the Novocain was applied and the doctor was just about to perform on me, someone came in and said I had to go pay now because the receptionist was leaving.
The nurse could have been far gentler too. she seemed extremely rushed from beginning to end, which was very uncomfortable. There were people waiting after me to be examined and it was going after hours; I would’ve been fine coming another day if it meant better service. Maybe it’s not like this all the time with their department, but I certainly didn’t expect that level of mistreatment.
I mentioned all of this in a customer survey, and two weeks have passed without even so much as an apology (at the very least). Again, maybe they treat higher end clients much better; so if you’re like me and don’t plan to spend 4 or 5 digits, then look somewhere else.
But, if they respond back to me and apologize, then I’ll delete this review.»

I went to this facilities and met with Dr. Swingle who was very caring and kind. I should have taken his advice for not having a minor surgery to remove a bump between my eyebrows. When I think of him, he is the best and caring doctor I have ever met. Today, I am trying to make an appointment to get a consultation from him and find out he is retired already. It is sad to know but my experience with the clinic has been great.

I’ve been three times in the past couple years, but didn’t realize they were on Unilocal.
I have very narrow time frames that I can make appointments and the receptionist happily accommodated me with each visit. Very happy with each practitioner I’ve seen. My most recent visit was with Dr. Lee (I’m not particular about who I see so I’ve seen 3 different people). He was very personable, patient, and thorough in explaining my options to treat frown lines as well as sunspots. He understood my concerns and carefully addressed each one (in layman’s terms which I appreciate). He answered my questions about sunscreen (given all the concerns regarding chemical vs. physical sunscreens). In the end, I opted for laser treatment. It was quick and minimally painful. Very pleased with their services and office.
The only downside I saw would be that the parking lot is small and in the past I had to wait a bit to get a space (the adjoining lot says they are only for a specific bldg). The receptionist did tell me not to worry if I was parking in the adjoining lot so they must not be super strict about it.

Had two procedures here. The first a tummy tuck– They did a good job with only minor issues, but overall results were very good. The second was liposuction on the back of my legs– I was basically butchered. According to other opinions of other plastic surgeons that I have sought to fix the mess– Kaiser was over aggressive and what has been done cannot be fixed.

I had an open schedule, but they couldn’t get me in for three weeks. I arrived on time, waited 15 minutes for my appointment. Sat and listened to gossiping. Weekend wear for office staff seems the norm.
The nurse scanned me quickly and then told me that they only have their laser one day a month and that I would need to reschedule to have the procedure done on that day. «Didn’t they tell you that?» Ummm, no. Why did I come today then?
Pricing — «It’s usually $ 200 just to turn the laser on, but I’ll be nice and only charge you $ 100, and then $ 10 per pulse.» Ummm, ok. «I’ll also give you free numbing cream, but it’s usually $ 50.» Last availability will be 4 pm.
No doctor ever seen. They could not tell me for sure when the laser would be there again. I trust Kaiser and would prefer to have my procedure done here, but I really don’t know… Waiting for my appointment.

I went in on Dec 28^th, 2012 to have someone take a look at my spider veins and vericose veins. I didn’t even get to see a Dr. I spent $ 100 for someone to take a 5 minute scan of my legs and told me a Dr. would have to do it and didn’t know what the total would be. 5 minutes for $ 100. I’m in the wrong business, They did say that they would deduct it from the treatment, but after reading these other reviews I am afraid not.

Overall, the staff is friendly. Laser tattoo removal machine has broke multiple times, once I waited around for them to fix it and dr was kind enough to give me a discount. Price has been bumped up from about $ 250-​$ 375 for the same service, not sure why. The waiting time is very short. Only complaint I have is that they provided cool air during the first session to help ease some of the burning pain and they no longer provide it. Also they offer «free» numbing cream provided you arrive early enough… well I came early and the dr came in and starting the procedure. When asked about the numbing cream he said it doesn’t work. I was like umm ok it would have been nice to know that before I came early. Communication seems to be a problem here but I feel comfortable because its through kaiser. Could probably find it cheaper somewhere else though. Facility is clean. Parking lot is tiny.

I visited the office to have sun spots removed. I arrived to my appointment on time but the doctor was behind schedule, so I opted to see a nurse.
While in the exam room, she described the different options I had to remove the spots but rushed me in my decision making. My charge of $ 150 covered the removal of 15 spots but I only had 3 treated. During the treatment, she was very aggressive with the injections to numb the area. She was also very quick when treating the area’s, which may be a result of why she missed spots and caused my eyes to water.
A few weeks after my visit, the spots healed but I noticed that she missed a few other spots. Also, it looks like she completely missed 1 of the actual spots but treated the area near. In the end, I left the office feeling rushed, not fully examined, and financially cheated, since all of the spots were not removed or addressed as to why they couldn’t be removed.
I called the office to schedule a follow-​up with the doctor this time and was informed that I would be re-​charged the consultation fee because I never originally saw the doctor on my first visit. Why didn’t the RN explain this when she was persuading me to do the visit w/​her? I explained to the receptionist that I had questions about my treatment but was informed that was their policy that couldn’t be altered. However, I could see the same RN and wouldn’t be recharged. Why would I want to do that?!? I originally planned on referring other family members but will not. A BIG disappointment for Kaiser.

I’ve had a few services done here: mole removal, laser hair removal, and skin tag removal. For the most part the work was very well done. The laser hair removal didn’t work at all, but the mole removal and the skin tag removal done by Dr. Pham was very good.
The only problem I have with this facility is their billing practices. When I was there for my mole removal last fall I was told that the price to have skin tags removed was $ 150 for 15 tags. Since I only had a couple they said I could combine the appointment with my husband (he had several that needed removing) and that we could split the 15 (and the $ 150 charge) between the two of us. I called to make the appointment, explained that our intention was to pay the $ 150 for 15 skin tags between the two of us, and scheduled the appointment for this morning. When we got there they told us that they wouldn’t do that. When I said I had been told twice that I could split it, they insisted that it wasn’t their policy and that they would have to charge us separately (bait and switch anyone?). Not only did they charge me the full (15 tag) amount for 5 tags, they doubled the price for my husband because he was slightly over 15 (they didn’t mention that until AFTER it was over). The appointment that we were told would cost us $ 150 ended up costing $ 450!!!
I gave three stars only because I’m pleased with the results (although 2 ½ stars feels more appropriate). However, their billing practices felt very crooked and dishonest. They really should have been up front with us.

Very clean facilities and friendly staff. I came in for a consultation for a mole. I waited for a total of 15 minutes for my name to be called. The nurse practitioner who called me in was very nice and treated me well during he consult.
The parking lot is horribly small and barely has room to back your cars out of the tiny car spots. I recommend coming in a tiny car or parking across the street at the hospital.

I am a kaiser employee so naturally i trust kaiser facilities, but not this one! They are rude and unproffesional! It seems like every time i make my appointment they call me that same dame to redschedule because their laser machine is down (really? Kaiser cant afford another“backup” one? Hmmmm how convenient) so this happened twice already!” So im not going back there, i found a better deal on
to Abellera Med Spa in San Jose, ca. Go see Jeremy. you get three not one but six treatments!!! Where as here its $ 125 a pop. Plus settings seem to always be on“low” so you keep having to come back and spend more money! (a$ 600 value for the price of $ 100) i agree with ceece! Thanks Livingsocial, you have made me one happy customer! :) smile on my face no thanks to this place! They can go ahead and get over on other customers. Haha, beware people! Save your money! I’ve had laser treatment for several Telangiomas on my face at this place. Although at first I didn’t notice an improvement, after about a month they were completely gone.
One thing though: They always want to use the laser on miniscule blood vessels on my face in addition to the large ones, and I did not see any difference in that area of my face after treatment. So just do the ones that are bothering you and skip the rest!

I have seen one of the RN’s, Lynn Sheredy, twice for botox and she is wonderful! She takes her work seriously and really wants you to be happy. The front desk staff was attentive and efficient and their prices are a little below average for the area but it would be worth it even if they charged a little more… we are talking about a procedure on my face here so I’d rather pay more for expertise and experience than get a deal. I am not a Kaiser member but the pricing is the same for all since it is a volunteer cosmetic procedure. Go see Lynn and definitely give Botox a try if you are in that 40ish age range and all of a sudden notice that you look like your frowing even when your smiling. You will love it!

I got excellent customer service at this location. After I had my surgery I was sent flowers. I did not expect this at all! The staff is very attentive, and follow up after surgeries. Every month there is some type of sale, I look forward to when botox is on sale again, I looked great for the holidays with the 20% discount. Hell to the nah, I think not. I say hell to the yes!

Let me break it down:
— Paid $ 100 consult fee which I was told would apply to ANY procedure in ANY Kaiser facility for the next year. They did not honor this, although Union City Kaiser Cosmetic was happy to. Do yourself a favor and go to that location. They rock.
— Staff is unknowledgeable about the services/​products they offer and Kaiser policies. Depending on who you speak with, you will get drastically different information and interpretations of policies. Customer service was also subpar.
— The derm doctor wanted to charge me $ 500+ for a procedure that the regular Kaiser facility later deemed «medically necessary.» Meaning, I got it done for free, minus a $ 5 co-​pay. This doctor said he split his time between the medical and cosmetic facilities. So, I am left to wonder why he was trying to price gouge me on this. He was well aware that I was a Kaiser patient. It’s an HMO, not his private practice. It’s not like that $ 500+ was money in his pocket. C’mon buddy, you don’t make commission either, why not refer me to the medical derm center?
There were other headaches in dealing with this facility, but I’d rather not rehash all the details.
Bottom line: I live less than 10 minutes from this facility, but now happily drive 40 minutes out of the way to the Union City Kaiser Cosmetic Center for consistent service and knowledgeable employees.

I went to this cosmetic center to get the hair removed from my armpits. It was a bit on the painful side, but worked pretty well. I was told I wasn’t a good candidate because I have blondish hair, but did it anyway. My hair’s much thinner now — no big deal. The nurse was really nice who did it. Though the location is a bit strange. I’m glad I did it.
