I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Rappaport! She is professional, honest, kind, and very fun to chat with. I’ve been getting my IPL treatments done by Dr. Rappaport and all I can say is the results are phenomenal! My poor sensitive skin suffers from Rosacea so she was able to zap away about ¼ of my red and brown spots after 2 treatments. The procedure was bearable for me, and wasn’t as painful as I thought. Fortunately, I don’t have horrible side effects like most people complaining that IPL burned half their face off. My search for a reasonably priced Med spa that can give me amazing results without breaking the bank is finally over. $ 200 for an IPL session is a great deal compared to other places I’ve consulted with. This clinic also provide reasonably priced services for other treatments as well (botox, pixel laser treatments, etc).

IPL is awesome! Next is some botox! It is easy to get an appt and they are very friendly! I love that botox is on sale on Wednesdays and fillers are $ 50 off on Fridays!

Kim Rappaport at Beauty Redefined was just terrific today. She recommended Radiesse for me and it made me look 10 years younger. She was very professional, friendly and really knew what she was doing. I appreciate the friendliness, professionalism and warm feelings I felt from Kim and the rest of the staff. I look 10 years younger and really feel 10 years younger after this procedure. Thank you, Kim. I’ll be back.

My experience from when I arrived at the office to when I left was very pleasant. I was treated by Dr. Rappaport for botox and laser hair removal. She was very professional and nice. There was no pain and its 1 week later and I am extremely happy with the results. I would definitely return. They offer a lot of different treatments and may try some on my next visit.

Out of all the med spas I have been to, Beauty Redefined has offered the best experience and results by far! I have received laser and Botox here, both services performed by Meghan. She listened attentively to my concerns, which had arisen as a result of my last Botox experience at a different med spa, and executed everything beautifully! It has been a week now and I am beyond satisfied with the results! I really appreciate how she took the time to check in with me to make sure that I was doing okay during my services and has followed up to check in on the results too! All of the staff that I have met here are awesome. Tina at the front desk was super helpful during my most recent visit and clarified some things for me regarding my Brilliant Distinctions account. Also, the «Bank Your Botox» promotions they have periodically are a really great option to ensure an amazing price!
All my experiences here have been exceptional and I will most definitely be back! I highly recommend Meghan and the business as a whole!

Dawn and Sara are amazing. Everything is much more affordable than anywhere else. They are both so sweet and great at their jobs. I’ve been going for 7 years! I must say. Anytime I see a one star review on a business I know well. I always go down the rabbit hole with that reviewers, reviews. Well one lady in particular has over 50% one star reviews. I usually take that to mean that the person is quite difficult. Also, upon reading 2 of her one star reviews were horribly rac$it. In one she talks about the staff being «fresh off the boat» in another she talks about «illegals» working there. She seems like an entitled jerk. The one star reviews must have been situations that were an anomaly. Or, written by an entitled jerk.

STAY AWAY!
Wow. Poorly trained staff, poor customer service. There are hundreds of Med Spas in South Bay. Stay away from this one.
I had a laser hair removal treatment (taking advantage of their 50% off promo offer), and after 4 days, the hair returned. It was an hour appointment, but the actual procedure only lasted 20 minutes. The technician turned their new ‘blue” laser as high as it would go at the start, which burned my shoulders. I complained, and she later turned it down. But not after causing significant pain. No long-​term burns though. They seemed rushed that day.
I realize multiple treatments are needed for PERMANENT hair reduction, but the treatment is supposed to remove most of the existing hair. IT DIDN’T. I called and told them, and the front desk person said they would «make it right, but to wait two weeks.»
Four phone calls later, and a follow up visit. Their position changed, and they refused to remove the hair they missed with the laser saying it wasn’t their problem. The co-​owner, Joan even YELLED at me on the phone saying «You got what I paid for» and to go ahead and post my bad experience to Unilocal because, «it does nothing.»
So here you go Joan, here you go Beauty Redefined. I’ll be taking my business and referrals elsewhere. I hope those that read this review do too.

For years, I’ve had Botox shots to prevent migraines. I travel a lot and so have ended up going to different places, which I sadly learned is a mistake. I ended up spending months with ill-​placed shots causing inability to have any expression in my eyebrows, or worse, a droopy eyelid. Not here. Dawn and Sara know what they’re doing and I’ve never had problems. I now will travel to see one of them instead!

My experience at Beauty Redefined has been very good overall. The consultation with Dawn was so informative and did not feel at all like a sales pitch. I’ve come in for a skin peel and microneedling and both services were performed with professionalism and skill. The results are remarkable. I plan on going back for more treatments.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. I’ve been going to see Sara for a little over two years now. She’s fast, sweet, explains everything she’s doing really well and just overall fantastic. I love how comfortable she makes me feel. Diana at the front desk is also really sweet and helpful. I love that in lieu of Groupons they choose to do monthly specials that get emailed to all clients. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been going to Beauty Redefined for almost 2 years now! The staff are all very nice and professional and l love them for it. Unfortunately, the results I got from laser hair removal were very poor… I have gone through multiple sessions of laser and spent over $ 2000 and yet I still have quite a bit of hair. After telling them that I don’t see any results, they never offered a free session to test it out or a discounted session. They just kept increasing the laser’s strength and continue to charge me… they never addressed the last time I got treatment, paid for it and got no results! I’m very disappointed with my experience… Now I need to look for a different place and probably spend another $ 2000 that I don’t have.

I still love Beauty Redefined! I started going to American Laser in San Mateo (horrible) because of its proximity to where I live but it closed unexpectedly, meaning I and many others lost their money!
Dawn is so awesome that she offered 50% off a session for those who were affected by this. As a past client of Beauty Redefined I jumped at the chance. I made a trip to San Jose earlier this week to take advantage of a half off laser hair removal session. I was pleasantly surprised that they relocated into a beautiful new suite (same building)! The space is chic, clean and feels so lively! They sell lots of cosmetic products including mineral makeup. The office assistant was very nice and made paperwork a breeze. I was really happy I only had to sign a short questionnaire to be seen even though I hadn’t been in awhile.
The medical aesthetician Sara was super sweet and was very professional. She did the exact areas I wanted and made sure I was always comfortable throughout the session. Over all great experience once again at Beauty Redefined! Wish I had it closer to home. Love the «in motion» system vs. zapping for sure!
If you haven’t looked into laser hair removal systems you should do some research first. I have had great results and relatively pain-​free experiences with the laser system Beauty Redefined uses which is called Alma Lasers.

Just wanted to add that the past few times I’ve had Botox, it was done by Sarah. She is just wonderful! Not only does she do fabulous «work», she is a total sweetheart to boot! We always have a blast on my visits. Another reason beauty redefined is my go to beauty spa!

I am very disappointed with my results from Beauty Redefined. I went in for a consult on Juvaderm and decided to try it on my laugh lines. I was very swollen and bruised which corrected itself. However one laugh line continues to be much deeper than the other. This issue was never addressed before or after the procedure. I asked Dawn to correct it at her cost and was told I had unrealistic expectations. I think an even fill is a realistic expectation from professional. I understand this can happen. I am mostly disappointed with the lack of professionalism in an effort to correct the mistake.

I was recommended to come here by my co worker. She is around 50 and she is so beautiful without looking worked on. I couldn’t believe wen she told me she gets Botox as well as fillers in her face.
I get Botox on a regular basis for my migraines so I figured I’d give them a try. The doctor I usually see is only in the area on Mondays which can be a bit challenging for me. Wednesdays are actually the best day for me, and they offer Botox at only $ 10 per unit that day! They also do $ 50 off on fillers on Fridays which I haven’t done.
I’ve gone back 3 times now. They also have a points system that adds up quick! I’ve seen both Dawn and Sara, and I’d really see either one of them again. I’ve continued to request Sara, only because I feel we had similar communicating styles. But if I needed to get in I’d see either one, as they are both fabulous!
I also usually call same day as service and they always manage to squeeze me in. Give them a try! They’re great.

I received botox for the very first time 2 weeks ago at Beauty Redefined. Sara did a great job! My face looks so much smoother in a natural way. I have to say that I think I will be a lifelong customer. Thank you Sara, I will be seeing you again.

What a gem I’ve found in Beauty Redefined. Dawn is just wonderful. I went to get my first filler injection so was a bit nervous, but Dawn took extra time to answer all of my questions and ensure that I was completely comfortable with the procedure.
The whole experience was wonderful and I’m so so happy with the results; Dawn doesn’t over do it and the results look so natural! Dawn and her staff are professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. I would recommend Beauty Redefined to both family and friends!

First, let me preface by saying that I had gotten laser treatments elsewhere a couple of years ago. After about 4 treatments my hair stopped growing back but after having my son I noticed it again (must’ve been the hormones).
I decided to give this place a try after researching online places nearby. I schedule my first appt – they gave no instruction as to ore treatment so I went as is.
When I got there, they said my hair had not grown enough and they would schedule an appointment a few weeks out.
Second appt: something else came up and they told me to come back ANOTHER time (a few weeks later).
My THIRD visit, they finally did the treatment on my upper lip. The results were disappointing. Not as good as the previous place I had gone.
Never went back.
