Omgoodness– I love this place– great hours– great service– super nice people. They even fixed my husband’s pants– took the time to call me to ask if I still wanted them cleaned because they had a small tear (we had forgotten about) — asked if we would like them fixed – at a very good price– then fixed them perfectly. Wow– great place

Best place to get the laundry done! Attendants are very helpful and nice, and very clean and neat! Laundry Machines are reasonably priced.
Also they have pure water, which is .25 a gallon, cheaper than most places! While you wait there’s a Starbucks right across from it which makes it even better.

I went to Lucy’s for the first time at about 8:30PM on a Sunday evening when, unfortunately, the plumbing at my house went out :(. At that time, there was plenty of parking right in front, though I hear parking is a lot tougher during the day. Lucy’s has a cheerful safe feeling inside. The machines appear well cared for too. It feels, smells clean. I won’t repeat what others have already stated about the variety of the amenities or the card that you get. But, I have to mention Kim who was just delightful. So friendly, helpful, extremely hard-​working, and just an amazing person in general. I could write a much longer review, but I just want to say that you will not find a better laundromat anywhere. Period. And I am VERY picky.

First and last time here. Too busy, too ghetto. The place is cluttered with crap. (Is there anything they don’t sell?) Half the machines are out of order, and people fight over the ones that are working. The only good thing is that there’s a Starbucks next door.
They would not refund the money I had left on the card or the $ 1 I had to spend to buy it.

This review is STRICTLY for the alteration services. The laundrymat is 4 stars. Took in 4 panels of drapes with very clear instructions to iron first then hem to 89″. I made a point of indicating they MUST measure from the TOP as the factory hem was very uneven. These instructions were pinned to the drapes on a neon-​pink post-​it and clearly spelled out on the receipt, as well. Drapes are home, hung and a hot mess. No two drapes are the same length. Each panel is longer on one end than the other. Only one panel is near the 89″ length. however not all the way across the panel. $ 48.00 and now I need to pay AGAIN to have someone fix them.

I am trying to find a laundry mat that I will go to on a regular basis and decided to try out Lucy’s. I had to come in to do MANY loads of laundry one day. The machines were good, however, the place itself is very unclean. I will still give it four stars, though, since the washer/​dryer worked well.

If you need to get three weeks worth of laundry done in under two hours. This is the place to go. New machines up to super large capacity 4 loads at a time. I’m only going to do laundry here from now on!

Pretty rad. You give them dirty clothes and money-​they turn it around in a day and give you clean clothes in a bag with a «thank you» sticker. Never doing laundry again. Not that I did it in the first place.

Very mellow atmosphere. Got in & got out. The ONE employee there was super helpful.

My washing machine died last night leaving us quite a lot of soaking wet clothes. I didn’t want to handle them after squeezing out as much water as possible which was tiring. Wash’n fold sounded great to me.
The neatly folded laundry was picked up on the way home. I liked it a lot. Especially, a soft nylon jacket and an underwear in a net were dried on hanger that was a nice touch. $ 17 is reasonable.

Omg this place has a gambling station of penny slot machines… No wonder why there’s always a ghetto crowd hanging around outside. Parking is always full maybe because some ppl don’t actually go in there to do laundry. I couldn’t even find a single parking to refill my water. And because of the inappropriate looking crowd it attracts, made me so uncomfortable to even go inside. Never going back to this place. Ppl actually come here to only gamble

This place has been going down in quality over the last six months… I hate doing laundry, and a broken washer at home means I have to schlep everything out to a laundromat. Carrying and dropping a fist load of quarters is a pain, so having a card system is a big plus. That is the only thing this place has going for it. The crowd at this place just doesn’t make us feel comfortable. There seems to be some type of electronic gambling machine on premises and I’m not sure if its legal or not, but the crowds that gather there are not the family friendly type, and THEY ARE NOT there to do laundry. They hang out, smoke pot and make the place feel unsafe. Sad truth. I wish the cops knew about this place.
Management is a little rude and they act like you’re bothering them if you have an issue with the machines.
So, I can’t recommend this place.

I have visited this place several times now and not until my last visit that I had a bad experience. The lady was a bit rude and confronting when she asked if I had put my load in the light washers and she lectured me on how it was too much clothes (couples shirts, and 2 jeans, and socks). Also they had half of the dryers closed down for some reason. The place does fill up with what I believe are homeless due to the little gambling station they have. It is very convenient to have the Starbucks right across the parking lot.

Not what it use to be, dirty clothes on counters everywhere. Dirty shoes in laundry carts. People leaving their laundry everywhere, sitting in washing machines etc. There’s a older chick here with a mini glass flask like bottle of liquor. Looks like I’ll be sticking to Lee’s laundromat in east side San Jose from now on.

Today was my first time visiting the place. A little bit about myself: I hate doing laundry and having low quality washing machine in my apartment complex does not help. My husband spoiled me by doing laundry 2 – 3 per week but now he’s out of the country and I work 6 days a week, I just cannot bring myself to do it.
I decided to go for the wash-​and-​fold service. I have a reasonable load that I accumulated about a month (I don’t sweat a lot in the office environment and wear work out outfit separately) and the total came to $ 16 which I think it’s very reasonable. The lady in charge was super nice, asking if I have any special request-​I do have some new clothes that need to be air dried. She also asked if I have sensitive skin so they can skip fragrant detergent.
Hours later I went to pick up my laundry-​it wasn’t quite folded yet but it was fine with me. The lady said sorry because they got busy. They quickly folded my laundry and I was truly amazed how fast and efficient they were, especially with my fitted sheet (I would never attempt myself). The loaded laundry was put neatly in a bag and she was very nice to put my delicate/​intimate on separate hangers. She even helped me carrying the laundry to my car!
Overall a very good experience. Other reviewers’ comments about ghetto are true and I can understand how that could affect the overall experience. But I am very happy about how my laundry was done. I will definitely go back for wash-​and-​fold!

Gheeeeeeetttttoooo!!! This place used to be clean and awesome to go to. What have the owners done with the place!!! It looks like the the dollar store threw up all over the laundromat. Yes it used to be basic place to go and wash your clothes, but isn’t that the purpose of a laundromat??? Now not only is it dirty they have a place to gamble… Wtf??? I guess on the plus side if you forget your soap they have PLENTY of options to purchase from AND there is a Starbucks in the same plaza. So the one star is for the Starbucks! Woot woot!

A clean, well-​lighted place for laundry. Lucy’s has a very nice assortment of different sizes of washing machines, from single-​load machines at $ 2.00 a wash up to 6-​load machines for $ 6.50 and everything in between. Drying is $ 0.75 for 7 minutes, if I remember correctly. Hubby and I spent an afternoon and about $ 40 and did ALL THE LAUNDRY that had been piling up outside our laundry nook for way too long. It felt really great to be caught up.
Pros:
–They have a restroom, and it is cleaner than your average gas station restroom, on par with less well maintained Starbucks restrooms. Not too shabby!
–It is attended by an actual person, even on the weekend.
–Free WiFi*
–Lots of folding tables, benches, and stools so you have plenty of room to work and a place to sit and wait
–The attendant was actively cleaning whenever he wasn’t working on fluff n fold orders or helping people.
–You don’t need quarters. You load value onto a plastic card which you swipe to pay for your washes and dry cycles.
–Benches outside — it was gorgeous out and somewhat stuffy inside, so it was great to have the option.
–Starbucks across the parking lot!
Cons:

–Smallish compared to some other laundromats I’ve been to
–You DO need cash to load onto the card.
Would love it if the WiFi were stronger/​faster and if you could load your laundry card from a credit or debit card. But these are minor. We’ll be back!

After moving to a much cozier (read, tiny) apartment, I was no longer equipped with a washer/​dryer. It’s amazing how much we take for granted until we no longer have it (things, people, etc). No matter how much visualization I do, that pile of dirty clothes isn’t gonna wash itself.
Enter Lucy’s. This is on my way to work/​on the way home… very convenient.
I’ve been coming here for about 3 months now and have used their fluff & fold, dry-​cleaning, alterations, and self-​serve wash/​dry services, so I feel like this is a pretty well-​rounded review.
The fluff and fold service is great! I’m the type of person who puts a load of laundry in the washer before I go to work, then comes home and sticks the load in the dryer. Folding? Ha! Most of my clean clothes stay in the laundry basket because I absolutely HATE folding clothes. In fact, that’s how I ended up with 6 laundry baskets (aside from my 4-​section hamper/​laundry sorter). When I filled one basket up, I would simply buy another. Don’t think I’m THAT bad– I would gently lay all my clothes on top of each other… not crumple them together.
So when the opportunity came to outsource my wash-dry-fold…I was so in!!! I can’t justify spending hours doing my laundry when I can just drop it off then pick up at my convenience. They have very reasonable prices (as a single woman doing about a load a week) and everyone I have encountered at the store is very friendly and helpful.
I do some self-​serve washing approximately every two weeks (I just can’t outsource my undies/​delicates for some reason… and a two-​week supply is what I apparently have, haha), and the card system is super useful. There are always free machines and the place never gets too crowded (or maybe I just do laundry at weird times).
All in all, I’ve got love for Lucy’s.

This is strictly for the water services here!
They are so close to getting a 4star review but they must get a minus one since at times I have gone and there was no one attending the area.
They way the water system works is that you can pay 25 cents a gallon or buy a prepaid amount. I bought a prepaid amount of 120 gallons for only $ 20! When you do this they issue you a number and you give them that number when you need to fill up. As I said above, sometimes the people don’t pay attention and are hiding in the back doing something. When they do this, I have to wait about 5 minutes to give them my account number. I don’t want to fill up and go without letting them know. There’s this Mexican guy that works nights there and he is ALWAYS around but sometimes the Asian lady is in the back working on alterations and she can’t hear you. They definitely need a bell here!
