When the non-​profit organization I serve as treasurer, was looking for a place to build a financial relationship; I, thought of a credit union. I thought l would investigate. I entered the branch and was met by Lucy, who as luck would have it, was the branch manager. Truthfully, I usually encounter branch managers hiding in some far office. Lucy’s desk was near the front door. She was and continues to be a warm and friendly individual. The president and I open the account and I didn’t use it for about a year. When I returned, I was met by Lucy and whether she remembered me or not I felt as if she did. I began depositing money into the account and have developed a wonderful relationship with the staff. I often feel like I am at Cheers (the bar where everyone knows your name). I actually believe the staff enjoys working at the branch. They are always smiling including the trainee who made the mistake of offering to assist me with my transactions one day. Excellent customer care given by all with Lucy leading the way. I tend to arrive close to closing and have never been rushed by the staff. I recommend this branch all the time. I should add they offer discounted movie tickets; my personal credit union does not. If not for the business account, I would do my banking with this credit union.
