History

Established in 2012.

At its heart, our team is a family. The founders of Quantum Tutoring, Nick and Minh-​Trang, met working at a solar technology start-​up and married in 2012. They have been tutoring full-​time ever since then and are proud parents of their daughter, Mina, who was born in 2015.

Meet the Manager

Manager

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in materials science and engineering. My experience in education includes thousands of hours of private tutoring over the years in addition to classroom level student teaching at Mountain View High School and Del Mar High School. As a private tutor, I’ve had the privilege of guiding a wide variety of students through every level of physics, chemistry, and math including remedial pre-​algebra, college-​level calculus, and everything in between.

If my experience as an educator has taught me anything, it has taught me that every student is different: different personalities, different motivations, different learning styles, and ultimately different needs. My priority is to make sure your specific educational needs are being met. Whether it’s reviewing the fundamentals or tackling topics that go beyond the scope of your class, I’m here to help.
