I have been going to Raquel for cavitation treatments. She is always professional and always is conscientious of my time and needs. I have had great results from the cavitation and will keep coming back. Because of Raquel I may see a swimsuit in public again. The results are amazing!

Raquel is amazing!!! Purchased a micro pen treatment off of groupon and had great results! My skin has never looked this good. It made my skin look flawless! She is very good at her job and really knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her for your new esthetician! You will not be disappointed. Also had a microdermabrasion facial that I really enjoyed. Left with clean soft skin and very relaxed :)

I purchased a Groupon for a European facial from Raquel some time ago, in my quest to find the perfect esthetician. Raquel has all the qualities I was looking for; she’s knowledgeable, knows when to use a gentle touch and when to be firm and I love the fact that she doesn’t rely only on products, but uses all sorts of clinical techniques to help accelerate skin renewal.
I’ve been getting her European facial (outstanding combination of micro-​dermabrasion and massage), RF/​ultrasound facials (for accelerating collagen renewal) and now looking into derma roller techniques. One other outstanding quality is that Raquel is passionate about her work and about making her clients happy. She always listens to your concerns and will often change up the routine to meet any issues that exist.
I would highly recommend Raquel !!

I found Raquel through a Living Social deal. I had a microdermabrasion with a peel. One of the best facials I’ve had. Raquel is professional and very experienced. She explains what she is doing and made me feel comfortable. It has been three weeks and even after just one microdermabrasion I see an improvement in the texture of my skin. I can’t wait for my next appt.
I was so impressed with Raquel’s services that I recommended her to my friend, who says Raquel is now her go to gal for facials.

I bought a groupon for a microdermabraison facial for my boyfriend. I called and left a message and she returned my call and scheduled an appointment for him the next day. She has a bubbly and friendly personality. She did a wonderful job. I expected her reviews to be much higher. I would definitely recommend her. I feel bad because I dropped the ball and couldn’t remember how much the facial was before the groupon price and I sort of jipped her accidentally on her tip. Oops! Don’t do that if you go. But I hope this honest and positive review helps.

Raquel offers excellent facials, especially microdermabrasion. However, she definitely needs someone to do her scheduling. Once I had an appointment and she didn’t show up and today she had not written down my appointment and so double booked.

One of the best Skincare places that I have been to. I went in for a facial and it was one hell of a pamper session!
I got great tips for my skin care (I tend to have regular break-​outs) and Raquel threw in a free facial massage as we went through our hour long session.
Would definitely go there again.

I also had a groupon here for a facial. I understand other people’s complaints that it was hard to schedule an appointment, as I left a voicemail and did not get a call back, tried a couple more times and was able to catch her to schedule an appointment.
Raquel is inside a dermatologist’s office as people have said, it was easy enough to find, just follow the suite number. I liked how it was in a medical center because it seemed more legit to me lol. But inside her specific office, it is very calming and relaxing. I had never had a facial before so I didn’t really know what to expect, so what I learned was — don’t wear earrings, maybe leave your hair down (she has something to pull it back while she works on your face), and you have to take off your shirt and bra… did not realize this haha.
So we started off with talking about my skin type, things like that. Raquel explained all the steps she would do with the facial and made me feel comfortable since it was my first time. The extractions definitely hurt a lot, but she warned me so I was ready for it lol. She made some small talk with me to take my mind off it, but wow that was intense. Luckily that only lasts about 5 – 10 mins and the rest feels extremely relaxing and soothing! She also gave me some tips for what I could do for my skin at home.
I was pretty happy with the results, my skins feels a lot smoother and is less congested. It is not 100% perfect, but I probably would’ve had to sit through about 2 hrs of extractions to get to that point LOL. I plan on following the tips she suggested at home and returning in a month to see if I can keep improving my skin this way.

Was enticed to come here from a really good groupon deal. Had 3 facials within a span of a few months.
Raquel is very nice, but the services I received here weren’t up to par as my usual place. Getting an appointment from her was easy, although my last facial, I had left 2 messages as she had not answered her phone. It’s not too hard to find, and part of a medical facility. Her room is in a dermatologist’s office. She does not offer any refreshments, as there’s tea and water outside, but one time I went to get water, and there was none. When I asked her for some water, she graciously gave me a bottle from her own stash.
First time I went, it was quite a painful facial. She also chatted a bit, so it wasn’t the relaxing, I’ll fall asleep kind of facial. She used some sort of scrub that burned and hurt so bad. So agonizing. The facials are also very short, about 40 – 45 minutes. She also answered her phone during the facial, which I understand she does not have her own receptionist, but at least let it go to voice mail! She uses these nice disposable like cloths to wipe down your face, but she wipes your face the way a mother would wipe a dirty kid’s face. Didn’t really like that, and she is a bit rougher than what I have experienced.
Second facial, she didn’t do the scrub, thank god. But one thing that peeves me is she steams your face as she’s doing the extractions. It’s bad enough getting the extractions done, but with steam pointing in one area of your face? Torture! At the end of my visit, she asked which one of my groupon I was using. I would really recommend noting this, as I could’ve said it was my first, and she would have no record.
I had my last one this past weekend, and as I waited in the hallway, she came out and asked what I was getting. I said, just a basic facial (assuming what I had paid for). So I went in, and I was really relaxed as I was exhausted from the day. During the facial, she asked if I had gotten a microdermabrasion from her, and I replied no. So she offered, and I thought, okay, she’s being super nice on my last visit. Maybe to entice me to come back in the future. It was slightly painful, but my skin did feel great afterwards. I did feel she gave me a good service, and her massages are great.
As I went in to give her her tip, she explained the microdermabrasian was an extra $ 30. I was baffled. She did not once mention this to me, and I told her that, as well as letting her know that I would not have agreed if I knew it was an additional fee. She looked at me as if I should know, and I mentioned again, you offered it to me without telling me anything. Was really annoyed at this point as it was the best facial I got from her, and little did I know it was because it would cost me more.
She finally let it go, but I definitley left with a sour taste in my mouth. Will continue to go to my current spa for my facials.

I hate being that person who leaves the one-​star review for a business she’s never visited. But like some of the other reviewers here, I wasn’t able to get an appointment. I left around eight messages and never got a call back. Get this — twice she answered the phone, I asked to make an appointment, and she told me she’d have to call me back because she wasn’t working at the moment. Umm… you run a business from your cell phone and then answer it to tell your potential customers you’re having personal time? Needless to say, both times she didn’t return the call.
I too had the Groupon. After this experience, I contacted Groupon and got a credit for the purchase price of the voucher.
Who knows, maybe Raquel is awesome but I’m not going to beg for her business.

When I went in the first time for a brazilian wax I was greeted by a lady that was very nice and professional.
The waxing part was painful but she made you comfortable by talking to you and distract you to ease the pain.
I liked her services because she is thorough and clean.
I kept going back for the same service.

Came to Raquel for a brazillian from a coupon that I had purchased. I had a hard time looking for this place and then remembered that she works for a Dermatologist, so you walk in to the Dermatologist office and she has her own room inside. Nowhere on the door is her name written, which was the tricky part.
Anyway, onto the wax. This was one of the more painful waxes I have received and it wasn’t more thorough than the person I usually go to. This visit scared me and made me go back to my usual place. Raquel was very sweet and professional during the visit. She offered me water as I sat in a waiting room when I first went in.

Raquel is very personable and friendly, but I can’t recommend her waxing services.
I came to Raquel because she offered a trubate for a $ 30 Brazilian. The wax was one of the most painful I’ve experienced — I literally sweated through the sheet, and it took almost 40 minutes. She also waxed the same area more than once, which is a rule that should never be broken.
As if the pain wasn’t enough, the result was also shoddy. Within seven days, I had stubble. All that pain and then to get stubble in seven days?
Don’t be allured by the low pricing or a coupon deal, it’s not worth it.

Raquel is amazing!!! Whenever I go to her, she takes years off my skin!
After analyzing your skin, she actually gives you a real clinical facial customized for your skin. When I get pimples, they grow under my skin, which can only be removed by puncturing my skin, she does that at no extra charge!!! My friend went to a dermatologist to get one removed and he billed her and her insurance company as if he had performed a minor surgery!!! She will be going to see Raquel next time!!!
Raquel also uses the best products on the market, she used skinceutical phloretin on my face (Which I saw it in Oprah magazine and cosmo as the most potent antioxidant on the market and retails for over $ 150!!!).
I have been going to Raquel for about 4 years. I have sent many people her way and they all have had the same experience. We couldn’t be happier with Raquel’s services. Whether is facials, microdermabration, chemical peel, waxing or eyelash extension she knows what she is doing, does it right, takes her time, is always punctual, and couldn’t be nicer!!!

I did two microderm sessions with Raquel. What I really liked about her was the thorough consultation she did. She called me on the phone to book an appointment and spent time talking to me about her background, her passion for skincare, and talked to me about my concerns. She is a caring person and it shows.
The microderm really helped my skin. at the time, I had burns on my face and the microderm helped even out my skin.

Raquel uses a combination of hard wax and soft wax.
She’s talkative and tries to distract you from the pain. Very nice lady.
The waxing left a few areas with hair which she went over, but when I left I found more areas that still had hair. She also waxes over the same areas twice (to pick up stray hairs and excess wax, but everyone knows that you’re not supposed to wax over the same thing repeatedly). It was towards the very-​painful side of my sliding scale.
She offers a lower price for her regulars.
