Rosies & Posies Downtown

2 start just cuz the girl was nice but the price was ridiculous for the quality of the FLOWER. The bouquet came out to $ 20 and literally had one big flower and the rest were cheap little flowers. The hugest rip off. Kind of annoyed but I was in a rush and had norm time to go anywhere else. I would recommend another place for sure!

I ordered flowers for my godfathers funeral for 4÷29÷16. The vase they came in was different from what I ordered. I didn’t like it. The flowers were nice but I was still really disappointed. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Came here to get a Mother’s Day bouquet with only some ideas in mind and a budget, and the end result was better than I imagined.
The staff greeted me right away and offered help. Once I picked a few flowers I wanted in my bouquet, the woman helping me pulled a few other flower options that she thought would go together. She listened to my opinions and I ended up with an amazing flower creation! Hoping mommy likes it, too.
The bouquet has a good ratio of bloomed flowers and ones that will bloom in a few days. Not too much filler either.

I don’t like to rate 2 stars, the flowers look fine, but the bouquet online had fake butterflies and there are not any on the bouquet I received. :(

I give u 0 star!!! Worst customer service ever… So rude asian girl. Wish the owner fire her. That will be the only chance making me go back

I received two more arrangements of flowers yesterday and decided to finally submit a Unilocal review. I couldn’t believe how low the rating was for this florist!
I’ve received about 8 bouquets of flowers over the last two years and they’ve always be beautiful and gorgeously arranged. I decided to upload a pic of my latest because they were particularly pretty and the blooms were perfection.

Here is what they advertised and I ordered… And here is what I received. You be the judge of whether or not they deserve your business. They won’t get mine again

The worst possible shop for flowers and delivery, avoid even if the flowers are free !!!
We received a flower arrangement for our anniversary from an out of town relative and the delivery person literally had thrown it at one side of the porch. Didn’t ring the bell or call (The number was right there on the delivery receipt), the flowers were already stale and mashed up.
On calling the shop, they basically lied that they did ring the bell and that was the best they could do. In this day and age of competition, its a miracle they are even open with this customer service

I sent flowers to my girlfriend’s workplace and it was the wrong order. This was bad but not the worst thing. When I called they were understanding and immediately sent a note out to the florist they contracted to redeliver the right order (I guess since I was delivering pretty far).
The problem was the redelivery was also wrong. At this point as a customer I would have expected some token of appreciation for my (and her) frustration, but nothing. At least I am getting a refund but this is not good service. I was hoping to keep supporting a more local business but I seriously doubt I will give it another shot. Not for delivery anyway.

Zero attention to detail and it’s not even the bouquet I saw and paid for online. Disappointed.

This is my revised review after some back and forth with the flower shop.
I ordered some flowers on behalf of my brother. To keep things simple, my first experience with the flower shop wasn’t as pleasant as I would have hoped but they did try and make up for their mistake. They ended up giving us a discount on one of the two arrangements that we ordered.
I will consider giving them a second chance in the future.

I have always had a positive experience with Rosies & Posies. They put together a thank you arrangement I ordered this morning and it was delivered this afternoon looking stunning. They also made custom bouquets for my grandmother’s memorial that were beyond beautiful and were delivered on time. Don’t be discouraged by a few negative reviews — I will continue to rely on beautiful arrangements from Rosies & Posies.

First try with them — positive experience. They use the eflorist backend so online ordering is a cinch. Flowers were «lovely» (as described by the recipient) and follow-​up call + text was appreciated. Prices are a little high, but not outrageous. The fast ordering /​service was worth it. Will come back again; hopefully a few consistent experiences will push my rating up to 5 stars.

— The person who received it loved it! I’m glad it worked out and with a short time frame. Thank you!

On May 12, 2015, I went into Rosies and Posies Downtown to purchase flowers and a vase for a friend. The employee who helped me, asked if I wanted help with the arrangement. I had planned to complete the arrangement task myself since I had purchased a few flowers from elsewhere but needed more and a vase. I let the employee arrange the flowers and select the vase. When the flowers were presented to my friend; she thought the arrangement was beautiful and loved the vase. The employee truly knew what she was doing and put love and care in her work. I am glad I remembered this location because I had forgotten the vase and needed more flowers. This location will be my first stop for flowers going forth. The smile on my friend’s face was worth the price paid. Thanks, Leyla and staff for the excellent service provided.

Worst florist ever! I was delivered a bouquet for my 30^th birthday from my mom and it was not only incorrect, but when they brought me a replacement the replacement was incorrect. The bouquet is nothing special and I could have purchased similar at safeway for $ 25.00. They also brought the second arrangement and neglected to put the bow around the vase. They only offered me a replacement arrangement after my mom called to complain and was not offered anything and then I called because the flowers were practically dead. My mom requested a bright and cheery bouquet and I received one with ugly purple roses and a mixture of other flowers that don’t look nice. I would never use this florist and am sad that they couldn’t even correct their first mistake. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES! Bottom line: cute name but horrible service/​product.

The lady that was helping me with my succulents was incredibly nice and patient, however I felt that the store was limited in terms of the variety of plants that they sell. I wish they sold more eclectic succulents!

My mother received her flowers 3 days late from Rosies Posies San Jose. They were supposed to call her prior to delivery because she lives in a gated community. Nobody called her, as I NOTED in my online order.
I am very disappointed, as I have ordered the flowers from here before with no problem. Unfortunately, they did not deliver what they promised. Now my 75 year old mother has WILTING, old flowers from Rosie’s Posies that are NOT fresh. I will not order from Rosie’s Posies again.

It was the morning of my wedding anniversary and I wanted to surprise my wife (in a good way) when she arrived at Terminal B in the San Jose airport from visiting family in Los Angeles. I knew showing up with a bouquet of flowers just outside the exit checkpoint near the escalator down to the baggage area would be a nice treat. The question was…“which florist to choose”?
Unilocal’s become like an automatic reflex. Need some information? Look at Unilocal.
When I did that, there were more than 40 florists within 10 miles, but I eliminated most because they were too far from my downtown office or simply out-​of-​the-​way. The first choice… Flowers By Ivy… had great reviews, but I called and was told they were closed for vacation. So I asked my assistant for her recommendation. The answer — Rosies and Posies… just 3 blocks away.
Before I phoned them to place an order, I checked the reviews on Unilocal.They were not encouraging! Still, it wouldn’t take much time to call and get some information. I spoke to Layla and said I was interested in a dozen long-​stemmed yellow roses and red tulips… not in a vase but just a bouquet to carry, She advised adding some greenery to fill things out and said the total, including tax, would be just under $ 40. Layla was very friendly and the price a lot less than expected, so I made arrangements to pick it up about 4 hours later.
The shop is in a small self-​contained building facing 2^nd Street by the San Jose Rep. Layla was there… along with 2 college aged helpers… and the flowers looked great (at least to my untrained eyes). She said they were short one tulip and instead added an extra rose. No problem. To me, more roses equals a better deal. I asked them to wrap the bouquet in a double layer of cellophane to protect from any manhandling, thanked the ladies for their help, paid and I was on my way. The service was fast, friendly and accommodating.
The flowers were a big hit at the airport, both with my wife and some of the other travelers. When we arrived home and the bouquet was arranged in a vase, she said she couldn’t remember roses smelling any fresher. That was music to my ears… and the $ 40 cost was a nice fit for my wallet.
It’s now one week later and the flowers almost look and smell as nice as they originally did. I can’t deny some people had problems with Rosies and Posies in the past, but this customer is very satisfied. Plus it put me in the good graces of my wife for a week which is no mean feat!
