Sakura Nail Spa

Love this nail place clean and sanitizer .The stafff are so nice and polite. I’m happy for my mani & pedi.

It’s been 2+ years since I had been at Sakura Nails and I will never go back. We had reservations for a party of 6 for mani/​pedis. They clearly did not plan well for us, as some of us sat with our feet in the water for 20 min as the water got colder and colder. My friend sat at the mani table with foil raps on her finger tips just as long.
My manicure sucked! My nails were uneven in length and polish. And the worst was that she dug too deep on one of my cuticles and made me bleed. This was after I asked her 3x to be gentle on my other fingers.
Sakura used to be so relaxing and a really nice place to book a Girls Afternoon out. Not it’s just an OVER PRICED ordinary nail place.

While the service was slow for a Monday, I had made reservations ahead of time and still, My party and I had to wait for service. The ladies were nice but not very talkative and the experience was pricey. $ 50 for a geI mani & pedi. To top it off, my gel nail chipped within a day.

I don’t go to Sakura much anymore because after much hunting around I found somebody who does a great job and provides service at early hours of the morning. But I drop in to Sakura from time to time if I’m really in a hurry because it’s close to my house. My regular person was out of town and I needed nice nails for an event so I went to Sakura for a shellac mani. I have never been so disappointed. I had the mani on Thursday of last week and by Saturday the polish was cracked and lifting on four nails and I had to remove all the polish. I don’t know what they did wrong, but it was a complete waste of time and money and I’m never going back.

I’ve been coming here regularly for the past few years, through both their renos and a bunch of changes. There have been ups and downs but they still do a solid mani-​pedi (efficient, thorough, and speedy, which I know bothers some people but I like to be in and out fast). It’s still very clean and nicely decorated. HOWEVER, I sometimes get my nails buffed instead of polished because I like to give them a break and let them breathe, and today, for the first time, I was told that it would be an extra $ 5 for the buff (so $ 10 for both hands and feed). I just checked and their website still shows that buff is included in the $ 35 mani-​pedi combo, so I’m a little ticked off at what feels a bit like a random cash grab (particularly since buffing is definitely faster for them than base, polish, polish, topcoat). I will definitely clarify over the phone before I come back. Bummer.

My favorite nail spa! Not only is it close to home which is convenient but they are super clean. I also hosted a small bridal shower which was fun and easy. I was able to bring in food and drinks, we also had the spa to ourselves which was really nice. The girls her are very sweet and offer quality service.

Staff is very friendly and they do a great job on the pedicure job. The atmosphere is very relaxing with nice music. The interior is decorated with teal /​tiffany blue all around. The space is very airy, not crowded or smell of chemicals that I find typical of other nail salons I’ve been to.
Minus one star because they don’t take credit cards, which is kind of annoying when you have to make a trip to the bank for cash. I also find the pedicure sessions to be kind of short. maybe 35 to 40 mins long? Their leg massages are mediocre and the price of a pedicure at $ 25 isn’t the cheapest.
But I go for great service and a relaxing atmosphere, so this place is my go to!

I dont usually go here but my regular location is closed on sundays and this is the closest place to my house. i went in on a sunday morning and i was happy to see that they opened a few minutes early. My toes came out cute but i think the lady was being a little lazy. I had to ask her to go the extra mile and cut my hangnail. I’ve never went to nail salon that didnt know how to cut toes properly. She didn’t try to have a conversation with me either, she was quiet the entire time. I thought they might offer me a manicure after but they didn’t it kind of seemed like they didnt want to work that day. i probably would have got one if they would have offered me more services.

Great professional service. Result was of high quality and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable ! Ladies did a great job, will be returning !

Made an appointment for Wednesday at 10am, was the only client in the salon. Thao did an immaculate job on my $ 25 pedicure. She took her time and I’m so very impressed with how perfect it turned out. Fresh and open environment, relaxing music. Definitely will return.

Sakura nails is the best nail salon in the area, they are also. They have a great set up that is adorable. They have matching gel and regular polish which is always a plus in my book, but they do not carry OPI gel. Make an appointment for faster service and BRING CASH, they do NOT accept cards.

I stopped in here for a quick pedi. They were able to fit me in no problem. The lady doing my pedi was nice enough and the salon was clean which is always a plus. The equipment was removed from a sanitary pack in front of me which I prefer. The seats aren’t comfy at all though so I had a hard time actually relaxing. I understand that the big spa chairs are pricey but there really should be some way to recline. It’s just one big bench against the wall with pillows scattered. Perhaps build the back rest at an angle so it’s at a recline? Although then people who want to sit stiff as a board may not be happy. My polish came out ok, nothing I would brag about or count on before a big night out, but ok for a random pedi.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s clean and pleasant and the ladies are very nice. But, my pedicure was rushed and so was the waxing. My big toe was smudged before I left the salon and they didn’t really cut the nails short enough. I got home and had little bits of the wax still on my legs and still some hair. I might come back to see if it was an unlucky day, but not before I try the other places on the street.
Update: went back today. Still rushed and kinda sloppy work on the pedicure. I will not be back.

My family threw me a real cute bridal shower here with a little brunch. It was perfect and everyone’s nails turned out awesome! The ladies here are nice and they don’t speak a different language with each other so you never feel like you’re being talked about. It is a little pricey but I loved it!

They were very nice and let my dog sit on my boyfriends lap next to me. They did a nice job on my toes but my nails were awful. I asked for gel and they chipped already, its been 4 days! Not good…
I had gel on before and they filled it down with just a nail file after the soak. It literally took forever and she didnt take all of it off, she said «Ill just cover it with the nail polish»…
I also checked the website for how much nails and toes would be together. It said 35 but I paid 55… I assume it was because i got gel but to jump up from 35 to 55??? Thats INSANE if you ask me.
Im never coming back.

Called an hour before for a shellac mani/​pedicure the ladies were professional and sweet. Did a fantastic job. I will be back for sure!!!

I’ve been getting my nails done here since they first opened, at least 8 – 9 years ago.
Now I come every couple months for a pedicure but overall the quality has gone down. The atmosphere is still cute but at my last visit, within the past month, my nails were cut to different length and polish unevenly applied. The combination of chairs and the metal bowl for foot soak is weirdly uncomfortable. There is no real way to «push up» on the bowl to keep from slipping down in the chairs. They give you pillows to put behind your back but doesn’t help much. They also used to have movies playing with closed caption, which I loved to watch but which are no longer.
Two visits back, my husband walked in to wait for me (we live in the neighborhood) and the woman working the desk was practically yelling at him: «Sir? Sir? SIR, can I help you!?» She came across as strident and rude of course until she realized he was with a paying customer.
I’ve never been a fan of the cash only policy but up until now I was willing to take that tradeoff for decent prices, cute atmosphere, location (near my house) and friendly service. But these days, the benefits don’t seem to outweigh the negatives.
I’ll probably look for a new spot.

Found this through Unilocal for out of town pampering. Receptionist is super nice. But I gotta say the job was very sloppy and superficial

This was my go to spot for a while. Then the re did everything. Call it organic if you want but using steel mixing bowls, charging what you do and calling it a pedicure do not really add up in my book. If I’m going pay $ 35 for a pedicure I fully expect warm/​hot water minimum.
Doesn’t seem all that sanitary to be using the same bowls after each customer to me… very uncomfortable process all together we for pedicures and I will not be back.
Way too expensive for what you get

$ 35 for mani/​pedi, +$ 5 for removing old shellac, +$ 15 for shellac, + $ 5 for foot scrub
They play deep house and trance here! Based on the photos I see, this place also looks like it went through a renovation.
I was very surprised by the level of service that was provided at this nail bar. I wish I remembered the name of the host/​receptionist/​maybe owner but she was extremely sweet and patient to walk me through all the pricing and options available as it was my first time. Right away, I was welcomed as if it was my own home! The nail ladies (one of them was Daisy! I don’t remember the other lady’s name unfortunately: c) did a great job on my mani and pedi, and I was completed within less than 2 hours! We had small conversations here and there, and when I made a simple comment about wanting my nails more square, they did it without hesitation and seemed genuine in wanting to make my experience a great one!
My only complaint is that the overall mani/​pedi was a bit pricier than what I’m used to, but the level of service, cleanliness, and spa like feel compensates for it.
