The Urban Pooch

There is no other service we would recommend than the Urban Pooch. Cathy is beyond more than a pet sitter. We have had many people who we have refered to Cathy say that they will take there pets only to her. Loving and superior care is this business owners mantra.

Cathy is known throughout the South Bay as being a dog lover. She has been known to find stray dogs running the streets and takes the time to catch them and then is active on FB and Craiglist to return the dogs to their rightful owners. I had Cathy watch my Bichon Frise at the Urban Pooch and Cathy was very good with her and took care of Annie’s special needs and would give her extra human attention so Annie wouldn’t miss her mom too much while I was away. I also witnessed Cathy giving extra attention to her elderly blind dog, RJ. She would take him on adventurous hikes even though he couldn’t see. Cathy would give him the extra TLC he needed to be happy even without his sight. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend Cathy’s services for whatever type of dog or special needs your dog may have.

A review long overdue! Cathy is a wonderful dog sitter and walker. She is a force free aka reward-​based dog handler which is rare in our community. Cathy is educated in dog behavior and will stay away from the use of prong, choke and electric collars and methods that include punishment and corrections.
