Valero Tully Auto Service

Price is good. However I don’t know if they can even remember things. I went there and they told me to wait coz it’s first come first serve. This guy came and went in first before me. How stupid.

Today I went to Valero and while there I was met by Trung. He took my car in right away for the oil change. While he was waiting for the oil to drain, he put air in the tires. While he was putting air in he found two different nails in two tires. He fixed the tires, changed the oil, and put in a cabin air filter I had brought with me for $ 40. Works for me.
Update: came back for another oil change (my car has problems with burning oil so I had to come sooner than advised) and met Anthony. I’ll be doing some repair work through their shop so stay tuned but so far it’s been a relief working with a mechanic who doesn’t try to cheat me or assume I know nothing about cars «because I am the opposite gender». So far so good.

I took my car there to get it fix. I paid $ 200 and my car was given back to me the same way they didn’t fix anything. My car still bad I cannot use it. They’re not even mechanics all they’re good for is to do some oil change maybe some brake job (I wouldn’t even trust them with that) and smoke cigarettes. Never take your car there

Very convenient gas station located near the entrance to 101 and Tully. The gas is on the cheaper side of the price range for San Jose. That’s always a plus for the pocketbook!
The clerk was polite and I think it’s relatively easy to pimp gas and get on ur way to the freeway if ur heading that way .
I wish they had a Unilocal check in offer for a free fill up but I think thats really dreaming to think that’s gonna happen !

Always cheap in my opinion compared to the chevron right across the street. Plus my favorite mexican taco truck is here every single night. Best quesadillas ever!!! I also love their tacos.

Anthony and his team are GREAT! I highly recommend Anthony’s shop! He is fair, considerate, nice, honest, well-​educated, and costumer service-​oriented.. We have been doing business here for years (when they were still at the Berryessa site) and Anthony and his team are #1.. Throughout the years, we have had numerous issues with our cars.. and have had all of the work done here.. brakes, rotors, alternator, gaskets, belts, oil changes, etc.. They do it all and in such a short time and at a fair price. I can’t say enough about Anthony ~ they provide the highest quality of service.. . On a scale from 1 – 10, this shop is well-​above a 20!!!

Quick service and they pump air into your tires for you.
Boyfriend’s Acura MDX was only $ 30! Mine was more expensive because of the filter they have to use.
He’s also getting his timing belt changed here for $ 650.

I started coming to this Tully Auto Service shop this past year, since it is under the management of Anthony. I used to go to his Berryessa Chevron Auto Shop until that shop was sold. All in all, I have been bringing my car in for service at shops managed by Anthony for almost 7 years. I would highly recommend this auto shop!
I have gotten everything from an oil change, tire fixes, routine maintenance/​tune up, to new brake rotors, timing belt, radiator, gasket, and more. The service at the auto shop is excellent! They provide quality and reliable maintenance for reasonable and affordable prices. First, they do an evaluation of your car when you explain to them any issues or concerns. Then, they will show you areas with issues or that need maintenance and explain to you why and how. The decision to fix or change anything is yours and they do not pressure you into anything if you express that you’d like to think about it or come back another time. They will also give you a heads up as to what to expect maintenance or replacements for in the near future, if it is not urgent.
Any time something with my car is wrong, I take it in for an evaluation at Anthony’s shop, which is now Tully Auto Service. Once I understand what is wrong, I call up two other auto shops for quotes and estimates, only to come back to Tully Auto Service because they provide the lowest prices for any car maintenance that I have needed. In my experience, Tully Auto Service is a good $ 20 – 50 cheaper than other local auto shops, sometimes even more. Again, I would highly recommend the reliable and affordable service of this auto shop!
The auto shop mechanics are really experienced and they have been the same staff members for all the years that I have been there. Another great thing about the auto shop is the warranties they provide on parts (typically 90 days) that they replace for you. It is always a good thing to ask for a receipt and for details. Usually they are open until 6pm on weekdays, plus they are open on weekends! In fact, any auto-​related questions or concerns, give the the shop a call and they’ll be happy to help!

I’m going out of my way to fill out and put up this information for Tully Auto Service in Valero, why?- because I’m a car guy, and car guys are always the ones looking for that GO TO GUY (we get screwed the fk. over and over. trust me!) — and please BELIEVE ME, go see Anthony at his small 3 bay shop. don’t expect coffee, donuts or even a waiting area– but what you should expect are HONESTY, EDUCATION, LOW PRICE (HANDS DOWN LOWEST IN SAN JOSE), and GREAT WORK.
Honesty: Brought my car in from Beshoff Mercedes with a $ 688+ quote for a scheduled maintenance. and teamANTHONY SPAANKED THAT PRICE OUT THE DOOR! hahaha! .GRANTED! that there’s no lavish marble floor and leather seats in a contemporary setting with classical music playing in a waiting room. but saving MORE than half of what Beshoff wants to charge me, shieet– that Tully Rd. traffic was music to my earsssssss! haaha! Seriously though, he’ll only change what NEEDS to be changed and fairly warns of the up coming maintenance needed. which is great because not everyone is capable of spending a large amount of money at once.
Education: When he finds something that needs attention, he’ll pull you over and point it out in ENGLISH. Yes, NOT confusing car talk. just flat out– all american english:) which i appreciate because damnit!!, i would like to know what it does and why it’s necessary to change. Likewise, if you walk around your car and find a something interesting. point it out and he’ll take a couple seconds to explain it. Education is power, the more you know the better:)
Low Price: Yep. So low. It’s ridiculous.
Great Work: They stand by their work, they keep the car clean plus they hold a warranty on parts they replace.
I don’t know what else to tell you, but i do urge to give them a try before hitting stealerships:)
