History

Established in 1983.

The Board, Administration, Faculty and Staff, are committed to provide an educational program that seeks to develop excellence in a student — spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, culturally and physically. In addition to traditional core curriculum, the student will be exposed to a wide range of educational experiences, computer science, art, music and physical education.

As a Christian school, we are dedicated to establishing a godly environment where the Bible, as the Word of God, is actively integrated into all aspects of school life. Each student will be challenged to live his or her life according to God’s principles and purposes.

As an independent non-​denominational school, we seek to serve individual families throughout our community who share our biblical orientation and appreciate our particular philosophy of education and discipline.

True parent, teacher, and administration partnership! A TRUE Blue Ribbon school with child-​1st focus, effective student: teacher ratio, breath of programs, nurturing environment, deep teacher commitment. We have been with Stoneybrooke Christian school for 6 years and continues to flourish socially, academically, and most importantly spiritually. Our son’s teachers have ALL been inspirational, with priority on developing the whole person, uniquely 1 child at a time. Our son’s classmates are of a quality for life-​long bonds. We have come to TRUST that Stoneybrooke is an exceptional environment for our son and they have remained committed to support our desire for strong Christian growth. From a parent’s perspective, best feedback is the smile, enthusiasm and desire our son has as he continues to grow spiritually and academically. We are thankful to the teachers, class parents & families and school administrators who have embraced our son over the years! I would highly recommend anyone who has a pre-​school, elementary or junior high kids take a good hard look at this National Blue Ribbon School it won’t let you down!

Our family has been at Stoneybrooke for 12 years now. We could never had made a better decision than when we enrolled our kids there. They both started in Kindergarten and one is graduating highschool and my youngest is still at Stoneybrooke Junior High. The impact this school and it’s teachers have made on my daughters is beyond words. The decision to put them through Christian school through Junior High has molded their lives in their character, their actions and the decisions they make on an everyday basis. I know for a fact that if they would not have been at Stoneybrooke their paths would look a whole lot different. Academically the school has been right on cue, however spiritually it has offered something that will last a lifetime with my girls. I would highly recommend anyone who has elementary or junior high kids take a good hard look at this National Blue Ribbon School. You would be hard pressed to find it lacking in anything. The experience and long term effect it has had on my daughters is priceless!!!

Stoneybrooke Christian is a National Blue Ribbon School and I am blown away by the school’s excellence and how much my daughter has learned in her first year of attending. She has just completed kindergarten and is writing paragraphs, counting time & money, reading chapter books and even learned sign language! She is confident getting up in front of a group and speaking. She has grown spiritually and she is inspired and passionate raising awareness to everyone about her missions project! Her teacher, Mrs. Grams, is the Mary Poppins of teaching. She is committed to each and every student on a personal level and they love and respect her deeply.
Chapel each Thursday is inspiring and there are so many great activities and events the children experience throughout the year. I highly recommend this school as the best choice for academic excellence in Orange County.

Stoneybrooke is an AWESOME school! We were originally recommended to the school by a couple of friends, independently, and our kids have attended now for 5 yrs. We couldn’t be happier with the curriculum, quality of instruction, and the attention our children receive from teachers and administrators alike. This is not your average school — not only was it recently rated one of the top schools in nation, but school leaders Ms. Worel, Mr. Bock, Mr. Berkompas, and Mr. Grim have big hearts, strong values, and great vision… they really get it! Attending families are highly involved, creating strong community. Check out this school and you won’t be disappointed.

We have been at Stoneybrooke for 11 years with our three children and we firmly believe it has been one of the best parental decisions we have ever made. Stoneybrooke is not a school it is a family, the teachers and school staff love our kids as if they were their own. They are passionate about educating and challenging our kids not just in subject but in areas character, integrity and respect. The integrity and passion of Mr Bock and Ms. Worel the school administrators and founders reflects that to them this is not a job but rather a calling for their lives. They have and continue to tirelessly invest their lives in the lives of our children and our families. In two and a half years our youngest son will graduate out of Stoneybrooke. We will be leaving an institution that has been fundamental in shaping our lives and friendships for well over a decade and we will forever be in debt for the value this institution for the value it brought our family that goes well beyond making our children excellent students.
