Over the past 30 years I have had insurance with all the «Big» companies. Rick and his staff have been by far the best. Not only did I save a fortune in premiums, the customer service is by far the best. If you want automated responses and robots they are not for you. If you want the best rates and people that respond immediately to your questions, Ricks your guy. Other companies gave me lower quotes but for half the coverage. Apples to apples the premiums were lower and the service was far better.

I was reading the review prior to mine and I had to «double check» to make sure that I was writing a review in regards to the same agency. My experience with Rick Sicro and his State Farm Agency was a completely different story.
I have been insured with Mercury Insurance for the past 6 years. I had an Auto and Renters policy with them. I have been looking around and doing research on Life Insurance and the Life Products offered by State Farm would pop up in my research Numerous times. I figured I would give it a try and request a quote.
I had the privilege to work with Tara at the office. She seemed to be caring, genuine, and honest .I thought they would have a hard time beating the rates from Mercury, however Tara was able to find me the equivalent coverage for a few bucks cheaper. I also got a Life policy the first time in my life (learning to save wisely for retirement) the policy accumulates cash value over time and she was very helpful in helping me complete the paper work and the process. I have referred a few of my family members to this office and they have all had very similar experiences. I have also spoken on the phone briefly with Rick at the office. I needed to Fax in some paperwork for Tara and Rick took time and helped me complete the paperwork. He was very helpful and did not hesitate to see if there was anything else that I needed. Overall I had a very positive experience from the initial phone call until completing my policy. I feel confident to be with a reputable and recognized carrier such as State Farm and to have a local office that I can contact in case anything pops up.

I met Rick at a community event and he seemed really nice and willing to help.
His office called and a younger guy named Shane spoke to me about the policy and the options. I expressed what I wanted and needed for a home and auto policy. He didn’t seem to understand and kept pushing the state minimum when I said I did not want that. Explained what I had currently and wanted something about the same. He finally sent a quote which was higher from what he originally said.
The home policy quote was 40 dollars or so a month, which was good, then emailed me a quote from the verbal which was now $ 123 a month. 3 times increase. He got annoyed when I asked why it was higher. He then suggested a deductible of 5% meaning $ 41,000 deductible!!!
I’m not one to give 1 star reviews but with the service here, I’ll suggest people looks else where when shopping insurance.
The kicker… I emailed Rick directly to explain my frustration and see if he could help with an accurate quote. Rick responded back with «sorry you fill that way. Take care». Typo and all.
Also find it amazing that staff members from his office are the only to give it 5 Star reviews. Even posting staff pictures. Gotta love a business that posts excellent reviews about themselves. Shows exactly the point about misleading clients.
