I don’t think that he is from the U.S. His service is terrible. It’s like he is from a poor country and use to poor people.

Although it’s true that he’s not always done on time, just give him a call before you go and he’ll get on it. The man’s an artiste. I love when he says he can’t do something and you say go ahead and if you ruin it, whatever, and then when you pick it up… it’s perfect. He’s amazing and a great person to boot.

Just called them to ask a simple question at their PRICE RANGE for an alteration. Was spoken rudely too on the phone as of I were stupid for calling an alterations place. BAD SERVICE. If I can’t even deal with you on the phone how do I even trust you with my prom dress. Don’t trust this place.

I chose this shop because of the Unilocal reviews (at the time 3 total). My husband and I brought Armondo 15 pieces of clothing to alter in 17 days and he still did not have our clothes done prior to an important trip out of the country.
After our initial visit my husband noticed alcohol on his breath but I wrote it off thinking if he’s been in business this long he can probably do alterations in his sleep. After 17 days, he told us twice to come back when we arrived to pick up our order on the expected day. He was unorganized and flustered and we both became worried about what he probably did to our clothes. I finally had to demand the return of all of our pieces that were completed and he retrieved them from a garbage bag wrinkled and balled up in the corner of his shop. Armando still wanted a few days to press the items but we were out of time. His tailoring was good overall except for one dress shirt that had white thread on a blue colored fabric. His customer sevice, professionalism and time management was terrible. Dont count on Armando to come through for you in a bind but If you have all year till you need your clothes I’m sure you wont have a problem. Also, If your clothes are very expensive pay the extra money for a better tailor. Dont chance using him on a valuable item.

Bernardo is as good as they get. He has an eye for making clothes fit just right. I highly recommend Bermary to everyone who wants there clothes to fit perfectly.

Wow, Bernando is amazing! I took 2 pairs of slacks to get hemmed and they did an amazing job. Very professional looking and looks custom fit. They are super nice there and very understanding of your needs. They also speak Spanish. I am definitely going there again for all my tailoring needs!

Bernardo, the tailor, has done alterations for me for about 3 years now: Hemming pants, throwing darts onto shirts, hemming sleeves, tapering/​slimming pants, etc. The work is always to what I asked and turnaround time is generally 1 week, unless you have a rush, which he can accommodate.
