Betty does the best nails in the east bay. She up to date on all the latest technics, has all the nail colors and designs. I drive all the way from San Mateo to get my nails done in her nail salon!

Real fast but real sloppy. The people are rude here. I reviewed them on here couple months ago and the owner I guess didn’t like the bad review so she complained to Unilocal and they removed my comment. Here I am making a new one so people don’t bother waisting there time coming to this shop. Trying to save all you the time and effort. Lynn nails is a couple minutes away and they do wonderful always you will be satisfied.

I cannot for the life of me understand why there are bad reviews here. I’ve been (my whole family) has been going to her shop since she first opened. My service has always been top notch and done right. I think that people who «drop in» and don’t build a relationship don’t have the right to Unilocal review. Especially if you didn’t give Betty the opportunity to fix something you didn’t like. I love Betty and the ladies in her shop!

Decent work. Poor pricing integrity. Attempted to charge more than double the price listed on the price poster in the lobby. Because I was new, I blindly paid the quoted price in the back room. While waiting for change up front, I saw the price list and questioned the difference. After 5 minutes of debate, the money was begrudgingly returned. Don’t overcharge new customers, especially when you have a large price poster, and no reasonable excuse. #NOintegrity

Betty is so rude to clients and her staff !! my girlfriends and I will never return !!!

BETTY is horrible and money hungry. She’s always eating or either on her laptop and she doesn’t greet you when you walk in. I used to go to her until I referred her and she made me look bad. Betty doesn’t listen to her customers. Whenever they try to explain a problem about their nails to her she always makes it seem as if its their fault. My mother who I referred to betty drove from richmond to san leandro on a Saturday got her nails done and on sunday they chipped and she got shellac. The nails werent even a week old and instead of betty fixing it she charged my mother 2 dollars saying it was something she did. Shellac is not suppose to chip and if your nails isnt a week old why should you pay again. I hope that 2 dollars was worth it because you lost two customers. Never again and I’m glad anna left. Your shop sucks. You deserve negative stars

She was my go to person when ever I wanted different looking nails. Now a new set doesn’t last a full week, and a fill lasts an even shorter amount of time. It makes me miss her old store even more :(Its like the quality went with it.

Not very friendly! RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. …DON’T KNOW HOW THEY STILL HAVE THEIR BUSINESS. As soon as I walked in, no hi or anything. I had to let them know what I wanted to get done they didn’t tell me to wait a little bit at all… I decided to take my business elsewhere.

My first time today and the shop is very clean and I got right in and the girl did a great job. I felt very pampered. I will definitely go again. I highly recommend this shop.

i attempted to give this nail salon no stars! my second visit and review i shared how horrible the service was… now that the infection on the side of my toe has completely healed
please stay far far far away from this place!!! this place does not sanitize their implements!!! find somewhere else to render your service, pleassssssse

Unilocal review
Be warned. I read the reviews on Unilocal and against my better judgement I tried them anyway. Betty was very rude and after showing her a pic of the nail style and color I wanted she said she could do it. First she didn’t shape my nails like I wanted them and she had to fix it then she didn’t do the nail art I selected and tried to argue with me that she was right. The Unilocal reviews and the customer that left mad when I arrived should have stopped me and since I was foolish enough to continue hopefully this review will prevent someone else from going there. Rude service and bad experience.

I’m coming to Betty in the first day she open her nails shop in Pelton plaza. This is her new location, i still follow her. This more then 7 years, every time i come. I’m alway happy. She had a lot of color and gel color and many things else, some time i don’t know what color or design i want, she’s making for me by what she think it’s looking good for me.
Anyway thank you Betty for making my Nails better and better.

Experience was horrible! I walked into the shop and Betty was with a client. I asked how long before she could take me? She said 20 minutes which really meant 40minutes. Before I was seated she didn’t ask what I wanted, she just started taking the paint off of my nails. No «hi how are you doing today, what can I do for you?» I had to ask her to wait a minute so I could show her what design I wanted. After removing my polish she went and retrieved some colors. None of the colors she brought back were the color in the picture. I wanted everything the same as in the picture. She proceeds to tell me that this bright pink color was the color in the picture. She said she added a filter to the picture. Why would she add a filter when she is trying to sale herself FROM pictures? I felt she either did not have the color or did not want to look for the color. I then told her «since you can’t find the color I want I’ll just take this same design and I’ll choose another color» which was gelish. She proceeds to try and convenience me that I can use regular polish with a gelish finish. i don’t like using regular polish with a gel finish. She starts speaking Chinese to her co workers. After the job was finished I felt my nails were alright. The design was not the same as the picture. I was not happy as I thought I would be. She kept asking to see the design that she supposing made up which I didn’t understand. The next day one rhinestone came off my hand and yesterday 2 came off. $ 45!!! I heard she was one of the best but I think not. Her attitude is nasty. She works to fast and obviously not into what she is doing. I’m just another hand holding cash. I would not recommend anyone to her. She needs to get her attitude right, stop moving so fast, not lie to clients, be gentle and stop speaking Chinese to her co workers.

Has designes but the nail quality is just ok. I have seen a lot better. BETTY doesnt listen to her customers, she likes to do what she want and not what the customer likes. I Didn’t like that she was gossiping about her other customers. KInda unprofessional.

Found Betty on Instagram and decided to give her a try. I lived in LA for years and became used to the «ratchet» nail designs at a cheap price– but I could never find a shop in the bay that could even compare to the designs that LA had to offer.
I called ahead to make an appointment (which I high suggest if you want Betty to do your nails). She does your nails fairly quick and ensures that they are nothing less than perfect. Her prices are really reasonable and her designs are AMAZING! Before she does anything design wise, she lets you know how much it’ll cost which I appreciate!
20 $ for a full set, $ 13 for fill
10 finger nail designs– $ 10
3d art– 2 for $ 8, 4 for $ 15
Those are just some of the prices I remember.
I recommend you checking Betty out if you want some «super fly» nails! She literally can do everything to fulfill your nail fantasies!

I went to this nail shop for the first time last Friday and my experience was OK. My appointment was at 10am with Betty, she didn’t show up until 10:45am. Luckily, someone did my pedicure to help kill time as I waited. Betty argued with me about what tips I wanted for my full set. As a customer, I feel that whatever I request should be given due to the fact that I’m paying for it. The next issue I had was that the VERY next day (Saturday), my nail had broken, I didn’t have time to go back that day and also couldn’t go back on Sunday due to church. I called on Monday and asked if Betty was available, I was told that it was her day off… granted she deserves a day off so it was no big deal. I stopped in on Tuesday around 10:30am and Betty wasn’t there yet, so I asked one of the other ladies if they could fix my nail and without even looking at it, they replied with a quick NO. (Mind you, I have easy pink & white full set). I had to work later that day so I couldn’t wait for Betty so I called later that day and Betty answered and I made an appointment to see her for 11am for Wednesday (which is today) and she confirmed and said she would see me then. I arrived at the nail shop for my appointment at 11:10, just to give her extra time… I walked in and didn’t see her and I asked the other ladies if Betty was available and they responded with No, she’ll be here in 15 minutes… I said I have to go to work and can’t wait and I’m tired of making appointments and her not being here like she said she would be. I left and called back 30 minutes later and asked for Betty and the lady then said that she was STILL not there and to call back in 30 minutes. This left me highly upset because I have a big event coming up this weekend and now I have no time to get my nail fixed before the big event due to my 13 hour shifts for the next day.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my nails and Betty did a very quick and accurate job on my nails but the way she handles her customers is HORRIBLE. The first time, ok I can let slide but for the second time and you’re NOT there AND I made an appointment. It’s poor customer service and absolutely shows no respect or appreciation for the customers that keep your business running. I give this nail shop 2 stars for the poor customer service that is provided. The only nice thing I can say is that my nails are shaped just like I like them and they’re beautiful. Hopefully the customer service improves because it’s not fair nor is it acceptable.
