My entire life I have surrounded myself with dogs, both my own and numerous foster dogs. After 15 years of working in Information Technology I left to pursue my lifelong passion of working with dogs. I choose to specialize in off-​leash trail hikes as I have seen the additional benefits it has provided to the well-​being of my own dogs with the exercise and mental stimulation they receive while on the trails.

I must preface my review by saying that I am not actually a client of Panting Pups. So why am I writing a review? Well, my 2 year old Aussie has tons of energy, and I’ve been picking up a lot of hours at work, so I needed a walker. Nothing means more to me than my dog, so I put in a lot of research and found Panting Pups to be a perfect fit. But unfortunately, upon contact, I’m out of their range! Well, MaryAnn went out of her way and referred me to about 3 different people until we found another great fit. Amazing. Very happy, and I’m sure if I were able to work with her, I would.

My Malamute has never in my care been a leash dog, I’ve always taken him off-​leash all over California and Nevada, and even in the streets he comfortably walks without a leash. When I needed to entrust him to a dog walker due to time constraints, their off-​leash philosophy was of utmost importance.
I interviewed several people for the job and my Darth gave them all the evil eye and refused to even leave the front lawn with them, until MaryAnn came into our house. Darth not only sat next to her while she was here for some belly rubs, he also very easily left home with her and hopped into her car for his first walk!
MaryAnn is energetic and personable, and most of all, Darth loves her to pieces! I’ve always kept him exhausted, since an exhausted dog is a happy and easy to live with dog. He is now happily exhausted again :)
MaryAnn keeps Darth fit and happy and nobody believes me that he is 10.5 years old when I take him to play like a young pup in the dog park.

Long off-​leash walks in the hills, Pt. isabel, belly rubs and kisses. MaryAnn is responsive, completely reliable, sweet, experienced and darling. I have found our permanent dog walker!

In seeking out someone for dog walking, i ran across Panting Pups in a Craigslist ad. I had no idea that the service, communication and care for my dog would be so outstanding. MaryAnn loves dogs and that was evident from the first time she met my NINO. I have a highly energetic pit bull mix puppy that MaryAnn handles easily and lovingly. She takes my dog to Point Isabel and to other parks and trails. He absolutely loves the outdoors. I work full time and am a single mom, there’s no way I could get my dog out without Panting Pups’ help! I can’t say enough about how pleased I am.
You will not be disappointed.
