I come here so much how could I not be a fan!
The thing I love the most about the San Leandro ShareTea is the décor. The tables are such a beautiful color and have a clean feel.
It took a while for their tea to grow on me, but now I stick to the hot honey milk tea with pudding or high mountain milk tea! Don’t get the creama series.
If you’re in a rush and there’s a line, don’t wait. Getting your drink will take even longer. If the store isn’t packed, service is moderate. The baristas tend to get backed up rather quickly. The employees are nice, or at least from what I’ve encountered. Parking is nice, and they have FREE WIFI! Don’t come here to work after school gets out or in the evening though. It gets rather loud and the shop itself is on the smaller end.
ShareTea San Leandro is great! Don’t have to drive to Union City anymore.

First time trying creama. It’s… interesting.
I know I’m super late to the party, but this was my first visit to any Sharetea location, so I naturally opted to try their signature drink. My lady had been to another before, and had tried the creama drinks without me, so I’ve been meaning to see what all the fuss was about. I ordered the Mango Green Tea Creama and the little lady went for the Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea, which was a «caramel toffee» flavor.
While ordering, the girl behind the counter was kind enough to explain how to properly drink the creama — cut two slits on the seal, taste the creama, then the tea, and then mix and enjoy. 3 drinks in one! I followed her directions and here are my findings: The creama is… interesting. It’s thick, not entirely sweet, and definitely salty. I thought it kind of tasted like cheesecake, but one you can drink? The mango green tea was sweet and refreshing, and had tiny bits of fruit at the bottom. Tasty. When mixed together, the creama defintely changes the flavor, and takes the lead. All in all, I would have to say that this was not really my cup of. tea. Ba dum, tss. haha. The mango green tea was good, but the creama, I feel, is a a little out of place. Just my opinion anyway. Glad to have tried it though. Call me boring, but I’d rather pair my tea with good old fashioned boba pearls, or even pudding instead of creama.
The shop is nice, cute décor with plenty of seating. It’s in a relatively big shopping plaza, so parking is plentiful. You need to ask for a key if you want to use their restrooms. Overall, a good spot to grab boba and kick it with friends.

I was so excited that Sharetea opened in this plaza. I’ve been wanting to try Sharetea since it opened in San Francisco but it’s a little to far for me to just go and grab boba.
The location is good — it’s right next to a Chinese restaurant which is a smart move.
I’ve only tried two drinks here so far: the ginger milk tea and handmade taro drink.
Ginger Milk Tea — I got this because there was a special for the ginger drinks and I really like ginger. I got standard sweetness and no ice (but it was still cold). The drink itself was sweet and didn’t have a strong ginger taste. I wanted it to be more gingery but it’s okay, it was still good. I also like the boba here because it’s chewy. The texture is good!
Handmade Taro Drink — I LOVE THIS DRINK. There are real taro pieces in it. It was sweet and icy.
There are plenty of seating although there isn’t really a big table. Good place to catch up with a few of your friends.
I think this is one of the best boba places in San Lorenzo. I much prefer it over T4 because I like the wide array of selection.

I had an awesome experience at the Sharetea in Seattle and I thought my favorite drink there would be the same here. Nope! That was not the case! I loved the Okinawa milk tea with pearls in the Seattle location but here their pearls are HARD and their drink is overly sweet!
I also tried their high mountain tea creama and ginger milk tea and both are good!
+1 star for free wifi, public restroom and free parking!

It is great how there is finally a Sharetea in San Leandro, especially very close to home. Typically, the lines are long, especially during the holidays. Even though the lines are long, the staff are very expedient, and the line becomes a very small issue. Typically, a drink will take from five to ten minutes to come after ordering.
The drinks can be adjusted according to the sweetness and the amount of ice in the drinks, but some of the drinks are not adjustable, such as the Kiwi with Ice Jelly. Some of the recommended drinks include the Classic Milk Tea, Okinawa Milk Tea, Wintermelon Fresh Milk, and Kiwi with Ice Jelly. However, even if some of the drinks are adjusted for their sweetness, the drinks still have a tendency to be very sweet.

Finally got to try this Sharetea on the last day of 2015 and last check-​in as well. It was pretty busy and after we ordered our drinks. We only waited around 5 minutes and our order was done. I was surprised on how fast they make the drinks. They line just kept on moving which is how it should be. The staff greet you when you enter and are polite. This Sharetea is closer to home so I have a spot to get my fix.
At the moment they’re using stamp cards. So don’t forget to ask for one when you purchase your drinks. The cashier told me they were going to switch to the FiveStars rewards program but wasn’t sure when.

Love this Sharetea location! I have always love Sharetea and I was SO excited to find that it opened up in San Leandro!
Sharetea drink is pretty standard among the different locations, so I would just recommend my all time favorites: the Kiwi tea with ice jelly and Okinawa milk tea. Although you cannot adjust the sweetness of the kiwi tea, it’s not too sweet. You can taste the kiwi seed in the drink, so I am guessing they at least use real kiwi. Okinawa milk tea is just excellent, it is brown sugar milk tea but it just taste so good!
Specifics about this particular location, it is very spacious (compared to the SF and Berkeley locations) and clean. Staff are very friendly and efficient. They are popular, I have seen the line being out the door but I have to compliment the staff for being fast paced and on top of things.
One thing I do not like about this location is that it is right next to the chinese dim sum place. There are always a lot of people smoking outside the restaurant and in front of Sharetea so you inhale lots of second hand smoke even inside the store. Otherwise, I will come even more often!

I grew up in SL and have been waiting for there to be a boba shop to be added to Greenhouse Plaza and now there is! There’s also BoBo drinks but both places are on different levels.
Drinks can be customized to different sugar and ice levels. Menu is basically the same as the Union City Sharetea. My favorites would be Mango Green Tea Crema, Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea and Sesame Milk Tea.
When they first opened, service was definitely slow. I think I waited almost 30 minutes for my drink but now it’s more efficient. My order comes out in less than 5 minutes (on a weekday).
Be warned that this is pretty much a hangout place for high schoolers so it can get loud and the tables fill up by the night time on weekends.
Will continue to come here to get my boba fix as it is near my house :)

Another wild boba shop has appeared in San Leandro!
Not a surprise, but I was surprised that Sharetea decided to be in the same plaza at Bobo drinks though the two are on different boba spectrums if you think about it. I’m not really that into boba, but Sharetea has a better variety of drinks and selection which draws me back. It’s better than Quicklys, there’s a parking lot, and they take card with no minimum.
The prices are a little higher here and there’s only one size drink, but I mean that’s all the same now. This location is still fairly brand new and majority of their employees are high school students that are still sloppy. I think they’re trying hard to get it together, but their systems run into a lot of trouble sometimes so the wait for drink can get a little long. They are good at asking about if you have their stamp cards, and the location is decorated pretty nicely for you to sit and hang out. There’s also free wifi at this location. It can get pretty chilly in there though.
It works the same way, get in line and order what you want. They have giant pictures of their top 20 drinks if you’re new to this or want to try something new. They ask you if you want it hot or cold, how sweet (0 – 100) and how much ice (0 – 100) you want in your drink. Keep the receipt which has your number for you to pick up your drinks.
I usually stick with the Peach Green Tea because it’s bomb and even at 100% sweet its really not that sweet. Their classic Oolong roasted black milk tea goes really smooth and is great for anything who doesn’t want to try something new. If you get the WHOLE lemon honey tea, I mean, it’s legit an entire lemon and some more juice squeezed into your drink and at 100% sweet– its sour AF.
Otherwise, its at a good location next to a Chinese restaurant and a laundry mat. Parking isn’t hard to find and the hours are decent.

I have been wanting to try Sharetea for some time, and when i found out they opened one by my house I couldn’t stop coming here. I would say since they opened, I have been here at least 6x or more with my family or with friends. I would have to say they are pretty consistent.
So far I have tried: QQ happy family, taro milk tea, fresh taro milk, ginger milk tea, matcha milk tea with red bean, and passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly. I always get 80% sweetness and 30% ice. Out of all the drinks I have tried, my favorite would be QQ happy family and fresh taro milk.
QQ happy family is all the toppings in the classic milk tea. I love it because sometimes I would debating what topping I want inside of my milk tea without cost too much. With this drink, it was perfect. I think it’s right amount of topping but could use a little bit more per my preference.
Fresh taro milk is fresh taro and milk blend with ice. You can’t adjust the ice level but the sweetness level. It tasted refreshing and you can taste the chunk of taro. it almost reminded me of the Chinese dessert: taro tapioca with coconut milk. Yummm.
Service is pretty fast. They handle the long line pretty well and you don’t have to wait forever to get your drink like some places. I think they are used to the crowd now. Great work.

Not impressed with the choice of rap video with nudity being played at this establishment. Their were hockers and blow while 3 kids under 10 were watching this on the TV.
Management you should be ashamed of yourself. Act like a business and not as night club.

After having dinner at Delight Garden, I came over here for some dranks!
I ordered six drinks and they all came out fairly fast! We ordered the hot ginger tea, hokaido (not sure about the spelling) milk tea, Okinawa milk tea, a kiwi drink (forgot the name), and a mango green tea, and a jasmine milk tea. The kiwi one is a little but too sour even though I got the standard sugar. The Okinawa and hokaido milk tea were my favorite (both with standard sugar).
Service was great! The girl taking my order would tell me which drinks you can customize and which ones you couldn’t.
Lastly, you can use the five star reward card here yet. Since they are a new store, they haven’t set it up. They do have stamp cards for the time being!

Yay! More and more famed Sharetea locations (ubiquitous in Asia) popping up in Amurrrica!
The San Leandro Sharetea is pretty good. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea and was very impressed with the strong tea flavor. Many a-​boboa shops just do not get the tea and water ratio correct — not a problem at Sharetea in SL. The boboa was of great texture and very delicious.
My only complaint is that they barely put any egg pudding in my drink when I ordered it as an add-​on.
They do not have the electronic loyalty program in place yet, but they do have physical stamp cards.

Got my drinks made within 5 minutes since no one was really in front of me. I had wanted a cold holiday drink (black sesame) and cashier rang it in as hot but the guy who called my name was happy to help make me the correct one.

I have visited other sharetea locations (Union City and the Berkeley) multiple times so I can taste the quality difference. Although they gave a decent amount of boba and cream, there was hardly any tea to the point where I could hardly taste any peach green tea. The boba was a bit rubbery, not as soft like other locations.
Overall: 3.5
Since this location is fairly new, it makes sense for this location to still need to work on its processes, such as the boba and tea quality. Would still recommend others to come here but warn them this location is still new

Conveniently located next to Delight Garden in the Greenhouse Shopping Center is a New Sharetea.
I rolled there after having Dinner at the Great Wall. I had a Craving for Milk Tea and Boba .
There’s plenty of parking .
I rolled into Sharetea and it’s a Brightly Lit place with House and Techno Music playing in the Background .
I was waited on as soon as I walked to the Front Counter. I ordered the Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea with No Ice -$ 4.40. I paid by Credit Card and received my Number –1 .
Service was Fast and Friendly. I had my Drink in 5 Minutes and it was Brewed perfectly.
They have Free Wi-​Fi the Code is st990118 !!!
There is a Public Restroom that is Unisex.
They are also open Thanksgiving from 12PM — 5PM .
There is also a Stamp Card program after 10 Stamps you get a free Drink. Very Cool !!!

So happy to see Sharetea open up a tea house in San Leandro! There is one near where I work, but I often don’t have time on weekdays to pass by there, so having one in San Leandro is wonderful.
My husband and I met up with another Elite Unilocaler couple who also live in San Leandro for tea after dinner. We all needed to order something that was not caffeinated as it was 7:30 pm. Luckily, there were some choices on the menu that were decaffeinated (marked with a coffee bean). I had my usual Taro Iced Blended with Lychee Jelly and Boba, and the hubby had the Mango Ice Blended Ice Cream. Joyce Z, who incidentally I was meeting for the first time after all this time of being friends on Unilocal,ordered the Fresh Milk Taro and her husband, Brandon, ordered the Peach Ice Blended. Everyone was very happy with his/​her drink!
Our visit turned out be a mini UYE as another East Bay Elite Unilocaler came in to get tea as we were finishing our drinks. He stopped by our table to say hi and we ended up having a nice conversation!
The service was friendly and our drinks were done in a timely manner. It was my first visit, so I asked for a loyalty stamp card. They do have wifi here, so you can bring your computer or iPad here. Parking is plentiful too in this complex. I definitely plan on returning!

Sharetea you are amazing! When I was visiting my hometown my family kept telling me to go to this new location to try out different drinks. Sure, I could get a regular milk tea but everyone gets those!
Instead I opted for a green tea creama and that was heavenly. When you get it make sure to cut two slits on different sides and to tilt your head at an angle to get the cream and the green tea. Ugh, just describing it makes me want it again.
Overall I would come back to this location as staff was sweet, it was clean, and their drinks are delicious.

I have heard great things about Sharetea but never got around to one until they opened one up less than 5 minutes away from me. Since they are still new, I anticipated a little longer than normal wait time because of this. However, both times I have been, with the exception of a glitch in printing the receipt that caused a line to form behind us, the wait was not too bad and they were very apologetic for the wait.
So far the workers we have encountered are very friendly and welcoming which is a big plus and the drink selection has a nice variety with fresh milk and cremas. Most drinks allow you to choose your desired level of sweetness and ice but there are some that only comes with normal levels like the handmade taro fresh milk. The mango green tea crema and handmade taro fresh milk were both tasty but I just have to remember to stick with the non-​caffeinated ones after 8 if I want to sleep.

Was finally able to try this place twice in a row and I am beyond glad that Sharetea has joined the Greenhouse Plaza. A modern-​looking Sharetea is sittin’ mighty pretty between a ghetto laundromat and Delight Garden.
Both times I came here I was greeted kindly by this hella cute bubbly girl with braces. She took my order and she made sure I chose my desired sweetness and ice levels… all with a smile. ~AaaAAawwwW supa kawaii v=^_^=b~ lol anyway…
My drinks took a while to come out, but I was okay with it since there was a huge TV displaying K-​Pop music videos as well as videos on how to «hit the quan»?? Funny stuff.
Taste-​wise, my drinks were just like the other Shareteas I’ve visited — Delicious and made just to liking!
Will definitely make a visit every time the SO and I have our laundry dates!

The Boba Gods have answered all our prayers and have graced the Manor area with a Sharetea location. Gone are the days of making the trip to Union City to get our cravings fulfilled! This is definitely going to be a boba poppin’ area and highlight of the Manor/​Greenhouse and I can definitely predict my friends and myself becoming Sharetea San Leandro regulars!
Note: This location has not officially opened, but will have a soft opening beginning on October 15^th, 2015. I was able to come and visit for a special pre-​opening event for this location before its set opening and will re-​review accordingly after it has officially opened. This review is simply to set the stage and to let other Unilocalers and fellow visitors get some info about the atmosphere, vibe, parking and staff. Give you the 4−1−1, ya hear? :)
First off, this location is extremely aesthetically pleasing. Honestly, after I was in there a while I didn’t even remember I was in the Greenhouse. It felt very modern with wooden tables and a wall with a silhouette of different buildings and monuments with little pins of different countries or cities you can find Shareteas! It’s aesthetic and a lesson on Sharetea, Hahaha! Not too sure if they’re going to have board games like the Union City location, but it’s still a great spot to hangout at with friends or grab a drink for yourself.
I came here for a pre-​opening event, but nonetheless the positive vibes were definitely flowing. The staff were all super sweet as well and accommodating. Welcome to answer any questions and never made me or my mom (who doesn’t even really know what boba is) feel dumb. So that’s a definite plus! A+ effort and A+ customer service skills :)
I haven’t tried all their drinks and can’t say much for them beyond the milk teas for Sharetea locations in general. But I can tell you that I really enjoyed my drinks and so did my mom. We got the iced blended drinks with ice cream and thought they were very flavorful and refreshing. If you don’t like it too sweet, one should note that ice cream is sweet so you might want to lower the sweetness level to at least 80% if you don’t like it super sweet!
Parking shouldn’t be a problem since the center of the Greenhouse Shopping Center is a parking lot within itself. Hahaha, the only thing is you may or may not be close to the boba shop. But hey, you’d be burning a few calories before getting your boba on so that’s always awesome!
Overall, can’t really say much for this place until it officially officially opens, but let’s just say I have an inkling that this place is going to be big.
Way to go Sharetea! Can’t wait to visit you again soon.
