But, we bet you haven’t experienced our more adventurous flavors such as, bacon (YES! BACON!), peanut butter jelly, cotton candy, buffalo wing, green apple jalapeño, mud pie, s’mores, gram cracker and banana nut. RIGHT? We know you’re smiling. Our sodas come in real glass bottles and almost all are made with Real Cane Sugar!

Peruse 1000’s of plain confectionery awesomeness, including throw-​back candies from the 1950’s through the 1980’s. We also bring to you imported goodies from Great Britain, Japan, Germany and Spain/​Mexico, and offer an IMPRESSIVE saltwater taffy bar.

The customer service at Rocket Fizz totally exceeded my expectations! Sam helped me get the best Batman piñata for my son’s birthday party, found candy to go inside and got everything ordered and brought in to pick up in record time. She was very timely with connecting with me and was so great with my son as well… very highly recommended! Thanks for making me a raving fan!

Best rocket fizz I’ve ever been to hands down. No competition. Had the best customer service. Quick to help and answer questions I had. The owner is the absolute coolest. The smiles are catchy. They have a muuuuuch better selection of candy than the rocket fizzes near me. I would make the 2 and a half hour drive to SLO specifically to come here, I love it so much.

This is an incredible candy store with international candies (from Japan, Germany, etc), animé toys, Hollywood props, Star Wars, My Neighbor Totoro (Tonari no Totoro), Monsters, Inc, Hello Kitty, Bob’s Big Boy, Homer Simpson and lots of eye candy. A must visit and shop in downtown San Luis Obispo.

This place is FANTASTIC! They not only have a great selection, but the customer service was truly one of a kind. I can’t say enough good things about Rocket Fizz and the employees. Awesome candy store. Lots of foreign favorites from candy to soda to chose from. Really friendly workers trying to help us find «Frozen» gummies for my son. I’m not a big candy person, but wow — this store is amazing.
I would love to try one of those sodas, but wouldn’t even know where to begin.

Rocket Fizz looks like something out of a kid’s imagination; there’s candy EVERYWHERE, a ton of different sodas (flavors from bacon to sasparilla), it’s completely decked out with cartoon characters, goodies and complete with flashing lights. A must-​see if your kid (s) or inner-​child is in SLO.

So many awesome candies and sodas — big variety of taffy, chocolate, Asian candies/​cookies, etc. The only downside is that they are a little pricey but there is a good selection to choose from. The workers were very friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth looking to try new candies.

Whenever I visit SLO I try to visit this candy/​soda shop! They have so many cool treats I just wish I could try them all. My friends and I wanted to go here to try out their cream sodas. They have like 5 – 6 fridges full of different flavored sodas from many rare brands. You have cherry, blueberry, orange, grape, bacon, coffee (say whaaaa???) as well as many other kinds that you’ve probably never heard of.
Besides the soda, there’s a ton of different candy that you most likely won’t find at your local grocery store. I even found Macha (Green Tea) Kit Kats here, but unfortunately it was $ 18 for a bag whereas in Japantown it’s $ 5 haha! If you’re just driving through this city, this spot is definitely worth a trip since you’ll most likely find something rare and be surprised by how big this little store is.

It’s difficult not to love this place!
Candy, candy, and more candy! They have all things candy here including the vintage stuff. I also liked that they sold vintage concert posters and other knick knacks. The best deal we got was a bag full of toffee for $ 6. We were able to fit a lot of toffee into that bag!
If you love candy, you must visit this place!

Rocket Fizz is such a fun store! You could spend hours just walking around and looking at all the candies and sodas. They offer the gamut of sweet and sugary treats.
The staff was friendly, even offering their favorite types of candies and sodas when asked.
Ended up walking out with Albanese Gummi Bears — quite possibly the best gummi bears ever!
Prices are little high (some items you can find at the dollar store) but well worth the novelty and purchasing of the more rare finds.

Interesting candy/​soda pop shop. They have a LARGE selection of sodas ranging from varieties root beer, sarsaparilla, birch beer, cola, corn soda, etc. If you are a soda fan or at least enjoy it, this is a place that you have to visit. I recommend Sioux City Root Beer and Hank’s Gourmet Root Beer.

I was teleported to my CHILDHOOD– when I walked into here.
With everything from rare candy like Pocky Coconut and Green Tea flavors to Wasabi Shrimp Chips to Pop Rocks to all sorts of cream soda to any candy you can think of!!!
I bought a bunch of big league chew gum– I loved that when I was a kid and miss seeing in at the local stores.
I bought a lot of stuff here. HAHHA

Omg this place was cray-​zy.
Sugar everywhere. Colors everywhere. Probably has every type of thing your dentist could ever tell you not to put in your mouth. (Like bacon flavored drinks… really?)
I didn’t buy anything, and wasn’t looking for anything, but the sight was worth my time.

This is a candy and soda heaven. The first time that I came to this place while visiting my boyfriend, I wanted to squeal and dive in to all the sugary goodness. Everytime I visit SLO now, I have to make a stop here. I always go in planning to get only a few sodas, but I come out with a 6 or 12 pack and an assortment of candies, opps… sorry not sorry. There so many diffferent kinds of sodas, names that I’ve never heard of before. As a huge fan of Ginger Ale, I had to grab several differnt bottles of time. Soon I can probably start a bottle collection of specialty sodas.
On top of all the yummies, they have huge cut outs of characters that are for sale, from Rapunzel from Tangled to Marvel superheros! If I had the room for them, I’d own a few.
