I love their brews. I went to 7 shows at Vina Robles and I drank Tap-​it beer the whole time, every time. My favorite is the American Pale Ale. I am so glad to have finally visited their taproom. It’s a little hard to find. Once you find it, it has a very cute back yard area and the inside is comfortable and well decorated. I would definitely bring out of town guests. The price point is very approachable, about $ 5 for a pint. The specialty brews are a little more and you can get a flight for $ 6 or $ 10 to try everything they have. They do a food truck on Thursdays and offer a few panini options everyday. This could be our new SLO hangout.

Great beer, nice and relaxed environment. The café noir porter was my favorite, nice dark coffe flavor hint of sweetness and tobacco. Happy hour specials every day. Complementary pretzels and mustard and a limited panini menu. Thursdays they have tri tip sliders. Friendly staff and excellent service, this is a must stop on any brewery tour.

This brewery is really fun and the property is really gorgeous. I have been a fan of their beers for a while so to come to the brewery was really fun.
The tasting room is kind of a part of their production plant so the area is industrial and cool, but very clean and relaxing, great for small or large groups. They do samplers, have specialty beers on tap, and then have their usual suspect favorites. Great beer, awesome staff, and the vibe was so cool I definitely want to come back and do a beer tour.

I got to check out Tap It yesterday afternoon with some friends and I loved it! Very casual setting, friendly bartenders, and good beers. Their outside area is awesome, very open and modern. They have games to play, my favorite being the life size jenga. Yummy pretzels and mustard with the beer also. I will definitely be back!

Love their beer! My brother, my husband, and I went here and each got a flight of fours beers. We all ordered slightly different flights so we could try all 7 beers. I liked them all. The stand outs for me were the amber and the American ale, which had a hoppy flavor I wasn’t expecting. I’ve had the IPA before and love it. The Berliner surprised me. It was a bit sour and I’m not normally a sour beer fan, but this was delicious. The 3 on a tree triple IPA was very hoppy, delicious and dangerously smooth for an 11%. I’ll definitely be back.

Tap it ranks with one of the great all around breweries. All I can say is great great great!!! great beer, great atmosphere, great servers. If you want to come to a place relax sit in a nice warm sun outside or sit in a cool inside relax by the shade watch beer being made and bottled, all the while you will be enjoying some high-​quality brew. So get off the beaten path, take the time to find this place you will not be disappointed.

Great beers, cute college girls, and cool atmosphere. I enjoyed my trip to Tap It minus the country music. The location seems a little out of the way but it’s worth a visit. Didn’t get to stay long enough. I’d love to return on my next visit to SLO

Great relaxed atmosphere. Have been there a couple times and had IPA, amber ale and Stout varieties. I love beer, all kinds, all the time, so I tend to be an easy judge.. Their beer has never felt 100% right, though… Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had several and will definitely go back, but I wonder if this is just a matter of taste or I’m a horrible person. I vote for the latter.
They had Samba Loca one night and that must have been one of my favorite nights out in SLO, period. They also hosted Pints for Pups last weekend and it was full house, but the service was good and we had fun as always!

TAP IT, is a new find for me. I can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve tried 4 out of 7 beers that were on tap. Enjoyed all 4. Rimfire Red & ACA, Ale Camino Amber Ale Are my two favorite.

This is a cool hang out and I love their Ale Camino Amber!!! Nice people and a fun place on the weekends which is when I hang out there.

I’ve been here a few times now and like it more each time.
The inside is quiet enough you can sit and chat if you want but it’s got enough life and activity to not feel awkward.
The outside is big and open with lots of random seating and a cool fire pit standing table that’s great when it’s chilly out.
I haven’t tried their food yet or heard the love bands that play.
The beer is great. They don’t always have a representative selection of the beers they make as they try to ship their beers out to local pubs and restaurants first. But, what they do have changes often enough and they are making more good beers than not.
It’s also a small enough place that you can usually find a brewer and ask any geeky questions about their brew you can come up with. That’s my favorite part.
I bring out of town guests here and meet locals too. That’s the kind of spot you know is good.

Tap It Brewing is a very nice craft brewery in San Luis Obispo with a relaxing atmosphere and an outdoor patio. To try all of the beers in a 5 taster flight is only $ 7. The Ale Camino (amber ale) was my favorite, with the IPA being a close second. All of the beers have a very strong and unique flavor while still being very drinkable.

We stopped by here when we went through SLO and had a great time! The taproom is bright and airy, the family that runs this is friendly, the beers are solid, and bands and food trucks are a great idea.
We tried the Full Blown Stout and the IPA, both solid. The Stout was just the right amount of chocolate flavor, thick mouthfeel, and smokiness, and the IPA was all kinds of awesome.
They had their core lineup and Snafu Double IPA. If anything, I would like to see more ales that can’t readily be found in a 6-​pack at the brewery, given that this place makes one of the better experimental ones I’ve tasted (Café Noir).

Tapit! Brewery is kind of hidden you have to seek it out but I can assure you ladies and gentlemen that it is well worth it.
I came here on a warm friday afternoon with my sister and boyfriend and we were all pleased by the great atmosphere. The place was buzzing with people! There is an inside bar area and then an outdoor patio with some great shaded tables and some awesome old west and cacti décor.
We all got the sampler which comes with 4 good sized tastes and you get a choice from a list of 7 or 8 I believe. All the beers were great but the amber ale and the stout were the winners for me. My sister and boyfriend raved about their IPA. So refreshing and lovely on a hot day! The baristas are great too, they came outside to check on us to see if we were ok.
Overall great space, great atmosphere, great place to go with big groups of friends and more importantly awesome beer !

Random night, random dinner, random restaurant. There were only 4 beers on tap, only 1 was an IPA. It was an IPA I’d never heard of before, but I really wanted an IPA so I gave it a shot.
Wow. I mean, seriously, wow. That random IPA was easily 1 of the top 5 IPA’s I’ve ever had, possibly top 3. What the Heck was that again? Tap It Brewing’s IPA, that’s what the Heck it was.
Tap It Brewing is way out on the Southeast corner of SLO near the airport. The girlfriend & I were wrapping up a New Year’s 2014 tour of Central Coast Cali, so we stopped by on our way back up North.
For a small brewery I hadn’t previously heard of, they sure do have a fully decorated taproom & outdoor patio area. It’s all orange, black & stainless steel. An homage to Harley-​Davidson, I suppose. There’s even a V-​Rod, similar to 1 I owned & rode briefly, on display.
All the pretty things aside, beer is why you go to a brewery. That’s why we were there, so we got down to the business of trying some tasters: IPA, APA, ASA, Ale Camino & Full Blown Stout.
All were good. I appreciated the ASA for its sessionability. The APA was nice. But the star of the show, without question, was the 1 beer that brought me here. Tap It Brewing’s IPA is exceptional. I could drink that all the time.
If Tap It was closer to home for me, or if they had distribution close to home for me, I would drink their IPA all the time. As it was, I had to settle for filling up a growler of the stuff & taking that home. For that IPA, I will be back whenever I’m near SLO.

I experienced sensory overload during my visit to Tap It yesterday. The beers were a delight to my taste buds and taproom manager Lauren was very soothing to my eyes. One visit and I’m In love with Tap It! I tried the IPA and Ale Camino — both winners.
I really liked the outdoor seating area and the ability to see the brewing area up close. The only downside is the proliferation of orange everywhere — a bit Home Depot-​ish. Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of beer — at beer places — and Tap It does it well, very well! FIVE STARS!
