The Mandala Tree

History

Established in 2011.

In November of 2011 in a small on campus dorm room Grayson founded The Mandala Tree, an organization dedicated to educating and providing students/​faculty of Cal Poly (and the greater community) with a holistic and healthy lifestyle outlet. The Mandala Tree supports healthy living by focusing on the whole person and lives by the motto that health is more than just physical well-​being. Tea, massage, aromatherapy oils, tinctures, and various other homeopathic medicines are part of the ‘medicinal arsenal’ of The Mandala Tree.

**NOTE** Grayson is living in China July 15^th 2015-​Mid 2016 studying Chinese language & culture while teaching English. He hopes to also further his understanding of TCM and Chinese herbs.

Grayson Shor is a southern California native and has been involved in the local bodyworking community for over 5 years. A graduate of the state accredited Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute where he specialized in holistic massage therapy, Visceral Lymphatic Drainage (VLD), Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Swedish modalities. He also has an extensive knowledge of herbal medicines. Grayson has worked at such places as Massage Envy and today studies under a local Chiropractor to further his bodyworking skills.

Grayson holds a BS from Cal Poly SLO for Anthropology & Geography with a specialization in Holistic Health Studies and Entrepreneurship. He is a state licensed massage therapist.
