B & E Applications

Eric Praise and his crew painted the interior of our house many years ago and it still looks good. He also refinished our kitchen cabinets and work was done professionally and on time. Naturally, when we replaced our old wood fence, I looked Eric up to get a bid on painting the fence. We are seniors and no longer up to the physical demands of fence painting. Eric gave us what we believed was a fair bid and we set a date. The crew arrived ready to work. Eric provided the materials, carefully matching the color code required by our HOA. The job was completed in one day and we are very happy with the results. Thank you, Eric, owner of B & E Applications. When we are ready for exterior paint, we will be calling on you again.

B&E Applications was contracted to paint several rooms in our home, and to refinish/​repaint the cabinets in our kitchen and bathroom. Not only did they do an excellent job, but they were prompt, organized, trustworthy, and professional. Eric Praise and his crew beautifully performed everything they were asked to do, and Eric took the initiative to repair things that were outside the purview of painting. Our expectations were not only met, they were exceeded!

I have had B & E Applications do several projects at my home over the years and their work is second to none. I’ve referred them for years and they have painted my families homes as well. Quotes are more than reasonable and do not grow through the project. The team is very professional and when they complete the job their clean-​up is comprehensive. Eric Praise is great! He takes care of everything and no small detail is overlooked.

I did not select B&E Applications for my painting job, however I did contact Eric at B&E after receiving a referral from my local Sherwin WIlliams store. Eric had time right away to bid my job, he came over within an hour and of all of the five people who bid this job, he imparted the most knowledge. Most of the bidders just walked around, listened to me and then said, «Okay I’ll send you a quote». But, Eric actually listened to me and TALKED to me about the project. He talked to me not just about what I wanted, but he also make recommendations based on my needs and what he saw.
The reasons I did not select B&E applications was because it was very important to me to have this job completed before Thanksgiving and he told me he would not be able to start until after Thanksgiving. His bid was also the highest bid we received and was substantially higher at $ 2200, than the second highest big of $ 1600 that we went with. Had he had the time for us, however, it would have been a tough decision because I really liked him and the skill and knowledge he projected.
When I don’t have the work actually done and am only reviewing the bidding process it is my practice to give three stars, but this experience was really good, so even though he did not do our work, I give him 4 stars.
