Solana Beach, CA
Had to come here for the first time ever for cat scans last Wednesday. After fasting for hours, drinking gallons of water and then driving the 18 miles from Solana Beach I was feeling pretty beat up after the cat scan. Faced with a long drive home on an empty stomach I thought a cappuccino from this tiny café might lift me a bit. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and made me a beautiful tasting cappuccino… which at after 1pm on an empty tummy was like holding the Holy Grail to my lips. When I enquired as to which brand of coffee beans they used the lady informed me it was Caffe Calabria. Well that lifted me even higher knowing I was enjoying the roaster we love the best and use at home. Hopefully I won’t be back but if I am I am getting a cappuccino for sure.
