As compared to the competition, it is cheaper, larger, quieter, closer to where I live(walking distance) and with a larger selection I didn’t buy anything there today, but I definitely will come back!

cool store to stop by and check out… but thats about it they have everything on hand but your gonna pay for the fact that they are on hand lol Amazon has everything they have and more. plus 30 – 40 $ cheaper systems. so its cool to stop by and check it out but if you can wait two days for amazon prime shipping i highly recommend it. They aren’t a fan of social media either which i find hilarious, i walked in and tried taking a photo of game selection and they immediately stopped me. ironic cause it was for good free advertisement, and now I’m on here giving the exact opposite review. Amazon or Ebay all Day lol 70 $ smash bros and 70 $ N64’s

I went in to sell some games and they gave me a better price than most of the stores in this town. Add that to the fact that they carry original Sega Genesis and Nintendo games and consoles, this place is worth stopping in for.

Game over rocks!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Great prices and a much better selection of games. .including old school stuff! The Game is over for the“other” place we’ve been going too!!! Pun intended! Lol! We will be back soon! :)

This place is too retro cool and the manager is all knowing. I think he said his name was Matt. They can pretty much quench any thirst from the oldies to the latest next gen games. Glad they made it to San Marcos. Keep up the great work guys!!!

I love this store! The game selection is amazing and the staff is beyond helpful. I’m so happy they finally opened a location up in San Marcos! They have tournaments every month and try to make as many as possible, because the people and atmosphere is a great little escape! Pretty jealous of the people that work there! :)

I was very happy to see a new Video Game store opening up that was not a Game Stop. I had hoped these guys would not be too«proud» with their prices. When you go to these guy’s website, they poke fun of other Video Game Stores. We have been in a few times shopping. We did find Fall Out New Vegas for $ 10, which was not bad. They do sell old school video games and accessories which is very cool. I do have an old PS1 that I would love to get back up and running just to play some of the old school games. They do not do repair here. I did suggest they might look into doing repair, as it would only add to their clientele that comes in. My 6 year old loves Skylanders and they do sell used Skylander’s figures buy they are the same price as you can buy them at big box stores. I had called them today and asked for a rechargeable battery for my XBox 360 controller. They had one used that was the same price as you could buy them new from some of the Video Game store’s they poke fun at. In a pinch, I might go back if I am looking for something that I can not find elsewhere. I will stick to the other video game store’s these guys poke fun at on their website. I can get my accessories much cheaper new than I can used at Game Over.
