Excellent selection of beers wine and liquor. Owner and staff very knowledgeable so I recommend you ask them prior to buying.

I needed a semi-rare beer for a friend, because he fled the state and apparently Russian River doesn’t quite make its way to Texas. After a recommendation that I check«the place by Arby’s» I stopped by early one morning on my way to work. I perused through the better than average selection of craft beers but came up short handed. I found a beer that I wanted secondarily so I grabbed that and made my way to the counter. Bill, I recall, was awesome to talk to. I told him the story of how my buddy was a beer hound and was lucky to still have available all of his favorite beers 1300 miles away, except for the one brand. He told me they’d be getting a shipment later that day, and to swing back by on my way home after work, so I told him I would, and he offered to save me one if there was any on the truck. Off I went, late for work, but at least a beer richer. For some strange reason I paused as I geared back up to ask him for his hours. I didn’t need to know for that day, or any imaginable day, but maybe that’s just the Unilocaler in me — I subconsciously take note of hours in the off chance I’ll review the place one day, it’s my superpower. Long story short, I go back in to ask and Bill says, «I’m glad you came back in. I wanted to come after you but couldn’t decide — I felt bad.» Or at least something close to that; I had my motorcycle helmet on and earphones, which I quickly took back off — he goes, «You can have mine!» «What?!?» I exclaim. He goes on to tell me about how he’d saved one for himself a couple days or a week before and planned on drinking it last night but he’d completely forgotten to take it home. I follow him to the back where he unsheathes a precious bottle of one of Northern California’s finest, and hands it to my like it’s Excalibur. I was knighted at Liquor Stop. King Bill proclaimed, «It was meant to be.»
