I tried to make an appointment here. I text Ashley like the photos say. Got a single response. I asked further questions and never heard anything back from her. Needless to say I went elsewhere.

Ashley made my hair look amazing! From long hair to a short bob, I’m so happy I went to her for such a big difference! I also added ombré to my blonde ends, and she blended it all so nicely.

I found Ashley off of her reviews and amazing portfolio and thought I would give her a try. I had high expectations for her and I was not disappointed! She listens to what you want, lets you know her opinion, and made me feel really comfortable.
For YEARS I have been going through stylists trying to find someone who would cut my hair right and have been left either devastated or underwhelmed. Usually, there is always something wrong with my hair cut because I have THICK hair and most stylists don’t know how to treat it (this is inferred from experience).
I highly recommend going to Ashley for your haircut if you have long thick hair you’re afraid to have chopped. It feels amazing, looks amazing, and is perfectly blended. Even after I washed my hair to see how it looked when left natural it looked perfect and it was an emotional moment because my hair has been put through hell! Let me tell you, you can definitely trust her with your hair and I am not easy to please because I am SO particular and detail-​oriented. Thank you Ashley!

Ive been going to see Sabrina since 2012 and she has been hands down the best hair stylist/​colorist I have had! I like to change my hair style a lot and every time I go to her I leave satisfied (afterwards I always get lots of compliments from others about my hair and it’s because of her amazing work). Savrina is super friendly and always makes sure I’m getting the style I came in looking for. If you are looking to color your hair I definitely recommend going to Sabrina!

Got an appointment with Sabrina. It was very easy because I just needed to text her. But make sure to make an appointment early so that you can get a time that you prefer. The studio was easy to locate and chic looking. I only needed a haircut so I showed her a picture that I found on Pinterest and she asked me more question to clarify what I really want. I like that she was thorough and very easy going! I like my haircut!

Ashley is AMAZING!!! First time here and I loved the whole experience. I came in with some really bad highlights and got a balayage with caramel tones. JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! She also knows how to cut her A-​lines, so if you need that done, she’s your girl! Love it! Will definitely be back!!!

Lush Hair Studio (located inside Sola Salon) is a cute 2 booth salon owned by best friends Ashley Lecroy and Sabrina Marie. Their studio is quaint, thoughtfully decorated, and has cute chandelier-​y lighting that really helps create such a fun atmosphere.
I was in pretty dire need of a hair change and thanks you fellow Unilocalers, I found Lush Hair Studio. Both ladies do their own booking and scheduling. I made the mistake of calling both of their numbers listed, so be sure to call the numbers corresponding with their names.
I scheduled a balayage and hair cut with Ashley during my first visit. She took her time to ask me about my typical hair routine and how I typically style my hair. I have wavy/​frizzy hair and so I wanted to make sure the haircut I got would compliment both ‘flat ironing days’ & ‘those eff it I’m throwing some gel in it and calling it a day’ days. I also had a blonde ombré done a while back and it really took a toll on my hair (lots of damage, breakage, and didn’t look so good anymore) and so I wanted the majority of it to be gone and be able to melt the remaining tips into a nice balayage look. After we talked about that, she asked me what type of color I wanted and I left it into her hands. (kinda scary, right.)
Well, Ashley is an AMAZING colorist and was able to blend in the remaining blond areas of my hair into a BEAUTIFUL caramel-​y buttery brown and lighten my naturally dark roots to decrease the contrast from root to tip. It is such a beautiful color and it’s perfect for our San Diego weather. I love love love love loved the color and I didn’t care if I walked out with an uneven cut (okay, maybe not obviously uneven) because the colors alone made me look 100% better! The color really complimented my light tan skin tone and really balanced everything out!
After the color, Ashley started to work on sclupting my hair (it was pretty damaged from the previous bleached ombré so a good chunk went buh-​bye) into a beautiful low-​maintenance long-​bob. She double checked where my parting line was before styling the cut and it turned out so ridiculous beautiful! On top of that, she threw ended up curling some loose curls and you could see how beautiful the colors blended. Why did it take so long for me to find someone like her?!
Ashley was amazing, so sweet, and is such an easy person to get along with! There weren’t any awkward moments when you think, ‘shoot, did I make sure to have my phone on my lap so I can check my social media’, or even a moment to think, ‘hmm, I should probably snap a selfie while my head’s up in this crazy cool dryer’. We moved from topic to topic and it was if we’ve known each other for a while!
At some point in one of our conversations, Ashley asked if I had ever tried out the Brazilian blowout as it’s really beneficial for those who have frizzy hair and I told her I’ve never tried it out. She let me know how beneficial it’s been for her and how much it decreases overall styling time. I told her that I might try it out in the near future, and she said cool and didn’t bring it up again. It was really cool that she didn’t try to sell me on any of the products or anything during my experience!
Ashley did an AMAZING job on my hair and I walked away from my visit feeling so happy that my hair felt so healthy, full, and beautiful! It’s been a few months since I had my hair done by Ashley (so sorry that I’m writing a late review Ashley!), but I still receive compliments about my hair color and how great the color and cut looks! Ashley did such an amazing job at such great prices and I highly recommend her! If you’re still doubting whether you should try her out, you’re seriously going to regret it! Call her! You know you want to! :)

I got my hair done here for the first time in search of a new stylist and found Sabrina. I contacted her mid-​week because my original stylist canceled on me (again), and she accommodated my schedule and did my hair on a Sunday, which is her day off. Her studio is private and comfortable, and her hospitality was also great. I would recommend Sabrina to a nervous client any day.

I just got my hair done by Sabrina and I absolutely love it! I saw her «before» & «after» pictures and her 5 star reviews on Unilocal and I knew I had to make an appointment with her! She got back to me right away and I was sitting in her chair within a week! I showed her a picture of what I wanted my color to look like, and my hair turned out BETTER than the picture!
My hair was brassy with super chunky highlights. Sabrina touched up my regrowth and blended in those «harsh lines» with a soft, beautiful, balyage. She also gave me a cut, which I absolutely LOVE! She blended my layers, it has lots of texture and it’s super easy to style.
The studio itself is decorated so cute! They offered snacks and refreshments… I even had a glass of wine! Sabrina is so talented, she’s fun and super easy to talk to… can’t wait until my next appointment with her! :)

I had to find a new hairstylist because the ones I’ve gone too before have never gotten my hair color the exact way I wanted it to be. I looked at TONS of Unilocal reviews in my area and the best I found was Sabrina so I texted her, showed her my current hair and how I wanted it, I asked her for a price and she got me in right away. She is so sweet & fun to talk too! She did an amazing job and I am recommending her to all my friends and family. She did my hair color the perfect tint of brown, how I wanted it and did an amazing cut, my hair looks super healthy and natural now way better than it did before. Plus super cute and comfortable hair salon! Sabrina is amazing ¹¹⁄₁₀ recommend her :)

Sabrina is heaven sent! I just moved to the area and was so glad I found this place on Unilocal!I reviewed photos of her work, texted her and scheduled a consultation with her for a price quote based on the desired look I was going for. She was able to book my appointment within the same week as my consultation. Sitting in her chair was a joy! Felt like I was spending an afternoon with a close gal pal. The finished product was beautiful and exactly what I wanted! I am very happy with my balayage and cut! Showed my sisters and girlfriends pics of my do and all gave two thumbs-​up!

I typically dread the aftermath of any salon visit and haircut since my hair is naturally curly. I talked and Ashley genuinely listened! I love love love my hair! I told her I am a lifer, and I mean it!

Ashley is a hair whisperer! After a horrible dye job I started to look for someone who could fix my awful looking hair. After some searching I found this salon on Unilocal and was so impressed by the before and after photos I decided to book an appt. I showed her what I had in mind and she was very upfront about what it would take and how much it would cost to achieve the look I wanted. We went ahead with the plan and it was worth every penny! My hair was completely transformed and I can honestly say I’ve found my new salon, finally!

Found Ashley on Unilocal and so glad I did! She’s a brilliant, talented stylist and so personable! I came in wanting a drastic change which can be a little scary, but she really listened to what I was explaining and looked over pictures, and knew exactly how to execute it perfectly. My hair looked and felt healthier for weeks afterward. She even squeezed me in last minute to refresh my hair two days before my wedding! She knows her stuff! And has such a warm personality that makes you feel like you’ve been going to her for years. I highly recommend Ashley, especially to newcomers looking for a great stylist!

I moved to San Diego 4 years ago and was referred to Sabrina. I have always LOVED the way she did my hair and it was close to my work so very convenient. I ended up moving jobs closer to home and I live in north park. I tried other hair stylists closer to my neighborhood throughout north park and hill crest and none of them can fix my hair like Sabrina does. So I make the 45 minute commute from north park to north Escondido just to have Sabrina do my hair and it’s totally worth it! She does an excellent job every time. Highly recommend.
