Senior staff are awesome and really know their projects. They could be more familiar with the new product and their computer systems. I love the quality of their products, the professional yet friendly and helpful attitudes of their staff, their convenient location, and the fact that they are a local business. The only thing I really didn’t like was the cost.

Always helpful and knowledgeable staff. I can actually talk shop with the employees and get good feedback instead of them just staring back at me, slack-jawed and confused, like most Lowes/HD employees. the prices are competitive, yes, but the customer service is just outstanding!

I’ve always been a Home Depot/Lowes shopper. Why? Well the variety is nice, but they were always closer then any McCoy’s. A friend is working on replacing is privacy fence and found McCoy’s had the best prices. I’ve accompanied him a couple of times and have found the staff friendly and helpful. It is very apparent that this is a place that they like to work. The fall out of that? It’s a place I, at least for one, want to shop! Can you open one closer to central Austin please!

I usually go to McCoy’s when I want to avoid the hassle of Lowe’s. McCoy’s is smaller obviously, but they have a pretty decent selection for a mid-size hardware store. Prices are slightly higher in some areas than Lowe’s as well, but usually not prohibitively so. The main downfall of McCoy’s is their business hours. They are only open until 6pm on weekdays, and closed Sundays so their employees can go worship. Well, I work 5 days a week and don’t worship anything, so the weekends are prime time for me to «go build something» as their slogan says. Oh well, at least Lowe’s is always there. 3 stars for a clean and organized store with decent prices.
