Starbuck

I drive out of my way for this Starbucks because I’m lazy and it has a drive-​thru. The staff have always been kind & friendly. My drinks taste the way I expect them to & it hasn’t ever taken what I would consider ridiculously long to get my order (& I’m very impatient). Overall, I never have a problem & often find myself wishing I carried more cash so I could tip them more often

Love this place the parking lot can be tricky especially with the high school but the staff gets the drinks out quickly.
I always go in because drive thru is a bit tricky
The only thing I would say is don’t come here when the high school is getting out the kids make it very difficult to get in and out

3^rd Time found plastic in my cup!!! unprofessional and nasty Starbucks! Every time come someone screws up order or they loud and rude.

I have had mixed experiences at this Starbucks location… some great, some not so great. This location has plenty of parking, but not much seating inside or outside. It is also usually full of students from San Marcos High School since it is right across the street.
One morning I came in and was buying a cold travel cup as well as a drink… for some reason the system was acting up and the manager had to restart the system, so he ended up giving me my whole purchase at no cost. That was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had!
A few weeks later, I came here to get a cold brew coffee… I don’t know what happened, but the barista didn’t see my cup or something and I ended up waiting at least 10 minutes for my drink while they kept making drinks for the drive-​thru customers… just as I was about to say something, the two male baristas finally noticed I was still standing there and made my drink. It should not have taken that long to receive a cold brew coffee when it is pre-​made and there was nobody in front of me inside waiting for a drink.

Starbucks is a good place to catch up on some reading or work while enjoying a good cup of coffee. The problem at this location is that the staff is extremely loud and fooling around like teenagers. Seriously, they cackle at the top of their lungs. It reminds me of when I used to live in an apartment complex full of college students. I literally have to get up and leave because I can’t work, read, or even have a conversation. I’ve even tried putting headphones on. Luckily there are other Starbucks locations close by. If the staff kept their chatter low, and weren’t always joking around, I would return.

Every time I visit this Starbucks location I am greeted with friendly and helpful employees and my drink is always perfect and ready to go. One time they ran out the type of milk I like and my drink was free. It’s on the way to everything bec it’s right off the freeway but if it wasn’t I would drive out of my way for it. Thank you!

Alex needs to improve his customer service skills and needs to show respect to all customers in all circumstances. I took my girlfriend on her birthday to Starbucks and he was so rude to her. That is unacceptable and i felt very disrespected. Come on Alex step it up or get another job if your not happy working there.

Great having a drive thru here, but awful parking lot to have a drive thru at and staff here can’t get drink orders correct. I’ll re-​review them later in the year, as they are still the newest Starbucks around here.

So glad this location opened up. Much easier to get in and out of vs the one that was across the street. I go here multiple times per week after dropping the kids off at school. Have not been inside yet, only through the drive-​thru. Always fast which I can’t say about many other locations.

New drive-​thru Starbucks opened by up Shogun and San Marcos High School. They have a large table in the center of the room with outlets, perfect for those times you need to study/​do computer work. Like many other starbucks, it is very noisy at times. I was just informed that it is open till 1030pm which is great because there are no places in San Marcos that are open later than 10pm for studying.
