I specialize in precision haircuts and hair color techniques. Highlights, gray coverage, formal styles, blowouts, Brazilian blowouts are just a few things I specialize in as well. I’m dedicated to making every single client feel and look their best in a fun, clean salon environment!

History

Established in 2003.

I have been in the hair industry since 2003. I got my cosmetology license in Pennsylvania and moved to California to further my career as a stylist. I worked in salons, managed a salon and spa and now run my own business out of a brand new suite in San Marcos. We take classes 3 times a month to stay updated on the most current styles and hair colors. I strive to run a professional business while making my clients happy by providing them with hair they’ve always wanted!

My name is Stevi and I am a business owner partnered with my good friend Jenni. I have been a stylist for 12 years and we have worked at salons together over the past 7 years and decided to venture off and run our own studio together. We strive to pamper our clients while giving them the look they’ve always wanted. I look forward to meeting you and hope you come to see our new studio salon!

I’ve been getting my hair highlighted and cut by Stevi for the past year and I am always satisfied! (I was a referred by a great friend). I have always had long thick wavy strawberry blonde hair. This past Wednesday I asked her to cut half my hair off for a cute A line per my husbands request. I know.crazy. I was having a hard time breathing through the process but I felt I could put my trust in her to get it right! Stevi worked it and I walked out of her salon feeling like a sexy woman! My husband was also stoked and said, «Thats exactly what I thought it’d look like!» Score! Stevi is easy to talk to, her salon has great ambiance including coffee or wine, and she does a little mini head massage. I’ve recommended her to other mom friends who have also continued to go to her. Call her you won’t regret it:)

I recently visited Stevi for a big change with my hair. I had only gone to one person my entire life for my hair. I am a student at Cal State and I can’t always go back home to get my hair cut. So I went on Unilocal and tried to find someone with good reviews and someone who I could trust. I found Stevi and read reviews and I immediately scheduled an appointment based on her reviews. Going to Stevi to get my hair cut was the best decision I could have ever made for my hair. She did such an amazing job and gave me exactly what I wanted. I was so happy with the results. She was very welcoming and the environment of her salon was so calming. It eased some nerves I had about cutting my hair. If you need someone to cut your hair and you want amazing results choose Stevi because you will not be disappointed! She really did an amazing job. Thank you again Stevi!

My girl is jenni! Meet her 3 – 4 years ago. It was a birthday surprise frm the hubby. Love her above and beyond. She made an appointment for 9am on xmas eve. Cut n cloured my hair. I would highly recommend her to all my friends. She gets my no fuss style!

As a male looking for a stylish haircut, it’s been hard to find a stylist who knows the little secrets of barbers to create a sharp men’s cut, but with the artistry not to turn it into the typical 10 minute buzz cut. I tried out Stevi yesterday and wow! One of the best hair cuts I’ve had in years! She listened to what I wanted and really took her time with me. I was also pleasantly surprised by the affordable price tag. Will definitely be going back. Oh… and Jenny was fantastic too! Super sweet. They are a good team and I highly recommend them.

i have looked for years now to get the cut and color i have now! thank you stevi… stevi is the best… she is so nice and she listens to what you want with your hair and color. i came in with long grey hair! i left transformed with a copper blonde that is perfect!!! we should of done before and after pictures… i look 20 years younger! (in a good way!) stevi is the only one that will do my cut and color from now on!

I (and my husband) love my new hairstyle! I haven’t cut my hair above my shoulders in over a decade, and have never dyed my hair. On a whim, I decided to chop my hair and get highlights. I called Elements Salon (based on the number of great Unilocal reviews and their hours) at 1 on a Saturday, and Stevi happened to have an opening at 3. Stevi has a station at Elements Salon after a fire took out at her old location.
Stevi was very attentive to what I wanted and offered great suggestions based on my concerns for my hair type (tons of wavy/​curly hair that I usually wear straight). It was along process, but worth tithe time. She is very meticulous and pays attention to every detail. My highlights and hairstyle are exactly what I wanted! The salon is very clean and nice. I will definitely be coming back! Thanks Stevi!

Stevi is the bomb! she has been doing my hair for years, she also does my brothers hair and his mother in laws– who travels from DC every few monthes and waits to get to So Cal to have Stevi take care of her! She is really flexible with scheduling, and doesnt waste any time, getting you serviced without wasting time. She has done my hair for SO many occasions, color, cut, styling, up do’s etc… A few years ago i was in a wedding party of about 8 girls, and i had the best hair of everyone thanks to Stevi! i have seen her work from at least 4 other weddings and she never fails to impress. She is also good at making suggestions and really works hard to make sure you leave happy with your hair, I cannot say enough good things about her. A++

Stevi is amazing! She does my hair, my husband’s hair, my cousins, his wife’s, my sister in law’s, my mom’s…heck she’d probably do my dad’s too if he had any.
I’ve been going to Stevi for about 3 years now. She always does exactly what I ask for. She is easy going, professional and doesn’t make you talk the entire time like some hair dressers. The salon itself isn’t my favorite. Kinda old and the sinks for hair washing are kind of uncomfortable but Stevi is so consistent and reasonably priced none of these issues matter to me.

Stevi Kuhns is by far the best hairstylist I’ve gone to! I constantly receive compliments on my hair, both on the cut and color. Also, she works around your schedule and is very efficient with time.
I started going to Stevi about a year ago, and now my whole network of friends go to her. She’s great with cuts, styles, updos and eyebrow waxing. She currently works at Envision Salon in Vista, CA.
