Useless for smog check when I called they told me 9am Saturday first come first serve so I got there 8:45am doors open at 9:00 but I was told the tech was on his way but late. At 9:15 they told the tech had just left San Jose. So I went next door to Smog for Less it took 10 minutes to complete as I left and passed auto experts the tech still had not arrived. Don’t waste your time

I bought an amazing BMW Z3 and had a wonderful experience buying from Mike. He was very straight forward, very low pressure.

I came here Saturday afternoon to buy a car. The sales person shook my husband’s hand and asked him what his name was. I was standing right next to him. I was completely ignored. Hey dude, it’s 2016. I am the one looking to buy a car. I am the one paying for it. Something to think about next time a woman walks in. You just lost my business and my cash. I bought a car the same day at another dealership where the guy was nice and not a jerk!

Nick and Mike were such a great help with the car purchase. They know what Customer services means without being pushy. The best car purchase experience I ever had. Highly recommend.

They went above and beyond being kind accommodating. It was clear to me that the owner is a car enthusiast who cares about selling good cars. They gave my car a tint job and navigation! And a couple days after I bought it the computer sensed that the brakes were low and I brought it back to there shop and they fixed the brakes no problem. Great people and great cars! Mike runs a solid Bussiness. My partner and I bought a used Audi recently. He gave us a fair price and stood behind the purchase after we discovered a few things wrong in the week after buying. He made the repairs for free and always gave us priority service with a smile. I would easily recommend Auto Experts to anyone looking for a quality used car.

I take all my vehicles here. Great service and honest owners. They also do work on my diesel truck. No job is too big or small. i would highly recommend.

My husband had a coupon for the business at 3925 El Camino, for a smog check and ended up here. They said they would match the price. They failed the car based on the smoke check. The technician promptly said let’s do a diagnostic and find out what’s wrong. My husband said, «no thanks, I’ll take it to my mechanic» as he saw no smoke. Today we went to our mechanic and they could find nothing wrong with the car. We took it to a place that only does smog checks, no repairs, and it passed with flying colors. I would never consider doing business with this establishment. We should request a refund for the smog check, but it’s better just to let others know to beware!

Buying a car from Mike and auto experts is easily the best car buying experience I have ever had!
I was purchasing a car that was more 2000 miles away (I’m located in Illinois). I was left to sole rely on the photos and word of Mike. When I flew I was absolutely not disappointed at all. The car was described exactly as it stood in front of me and none of the cars flaws were sugar coated. Honesty is one thing that is very rare to find and because of that I would whole heartedly recommend anyone to do business with them.

Came in here on a weekday in the middle of my work shifts for a smog check and left annoyed, and hangry.
Accidentally rolled through trying to get to the smog place nearby that had a 15min approximate wait time. When I realized I was at the wrong place, they were nice enough to price match and was told the wait would be less than 30 minutes until they would be done with my car… nope.
40 minutes after waiting in the lobby I asked for an update and was told it would take another 30 min… Took me longer to get my smog check done than it took me to renew my passport!
I’m fully aware that going to do a smog check could be up to an hour or more process, I have ZERO problem waiting that long IF it is clearly stated to me at the beginning. Turns out the guys that runs smog check was on his lunch break and that’s why they couldn’t attend to my car right away, but didn’t think it was relevant information for me to know at the beginning. I run a very tight schedule and there is no way I would have stayed that long if they had originally told me it would take an hour and half. I left feeling that they were fully aware of this and rather than being HONEST and potentially losing a client for the day, they were not straight forward and lost a future consistent client.
Was considering giving 2 stars because it seemed they were somewhat trying to be nice about the situation and they have an adorable dog, but nocked it down because the taste of deception and lack of consideration for my time left a bitter bitter taste in my mouth.

Mike helped us sell our 2001 Mercedes and 2003 BMW.
Not only has Mike been a great business owner, he has also been a great friend. He helped us find our new BMW X5 as well. The whole selling experience has been effortless. If you have a car to sell, I definitely recommend bringing your car to Auto experts!

Needed a smog check ASAP in order to purchase a used car from a friend. Found this place after accidentally driving past the first selected smog station that had a $ 30 smog check Unilocal deal. This place price matched, smog checked passed, and out the door in less than 30 minutes. Informative and helpful people with great service! Thanks!

So I purchased a 2007 Infiniti G35 S about a year ago…
They sold me the car for 12,000 then called me back and said I had to return the car lol what a joke right? I just switched jobs so I guess I didn’t have a long enough job history. Okay whatever so I got my mom to get it in her name. (The car she drives is in my name)
I didn’t go with her, but I found out they ended up charging her 14,800 for the car, (I’ll post pics later). I put 3,000 down and they even charged her a bunch of different fees that weren’t on the documents I signed. She ended up financing the car for 14,800 after the 3,000 down and they gave her 24.5 APR?! lol yeah they will scam anybody here so maybe they will cater to you if your a certain type of person I’m really not sure. Karma does come around though.
Oh yeah my steering wheel was un aligned after the first week of driving and the car was in a major accident that wasn’t listed on the car fax they gave me. I paid around $ 700 to have it re aligned it was so bad.
I guess this is kind of my fault in a way for not researching enough and having bad credit right? They got me and played their game how they wanted so congratulations to you guys.
This review is so late because I have paid $ 459 a month for about 15 months and just looked at the statement (because it’s in my moms name) recently when I saw her and was like wait this can’t be right. I still owe 11,800 after about 15 months.
All in all this place is just about the money and clearly not about service, lol literally service on their vehicles they get to. That is why their vehicles are so cheap. If you have decent credit go get a certified vehicle instead of wasting your time, but this is what happens when things go wrong you end up at places like this.
They will be able to finance you if you have credit issues, but if you are a little selfless like my mom they probably will just take complete advantage. Bottom line, just stay far far away from here.

I came in here to check out a used Boxster that Auto Experts had posted on craigslist.
Mike and Nick were fantastic people to deal with. Mike was really patient — he let me test drive the car a couple of times, was fine with negotiating a price, and even drove the car to my mechanic of choice to get the PPI done.
This is a great family owned business and I’m happy to support them.
I hope to come back when I am ready to trade in!

Got a great deal on a 2008 infiniti g35. Mike was a good guy and gave us a good deal.
He worked with us and got a good low monthly payment. They have nice cars out front and are professionals. Would definitely recommend buying a car here and getting your car fixed here. Greatt place with good prices. They will work out a price with you and help you out with whatever you need. Will come back here definitely.

I bought and paid cash for a $ 27k low mileage 2008 Porsche Cayenne S with clean title from these guys and after agreeing a deal, I noticed that the passenger front fender had been badly painted. I still agreed a sale, conditional on them getting the fender properly painted. I got this in writing.
After returning the car to them 3 times for not fixing this problem adequately (or at all), they told me they had ‘tried’ to fix it without success and not to come back. I had a stand-​up argument with the owner saying I was not paying him to ‘try’, I was paying him to fix it. They refused completely to do anything more and I got stuck with a car with a bad paint job.
Within 200 miles of owning this car, it needed a $ 2500 thermostat repair, a $ 1900 cardan driveshaft repair, 2 tires and some interior parts.
They also offered only 25% of the retail value for my old car, which I declined.

Just bought the 2^nd car from them. I bought the first BMW from them couple years ago they got me the greatest rate on the financing and great service. They also gave me a good deal on the 2^nd car. highly recommended!

Awesome smog check experience! Found Auto Experts after not wanting to wait at the Smog-​only place just next door.
I was pleasantly surprised to not only find Auto Experts to have immediate availability, but they also had amenities you wouldn’t find at a regular smog place — coffee, nice sofas, TV, etc. — because they are also a pre-​owned dealer that does general auto maintenance and repair.
Very please with pricing, speed, hot coffee and a place I could sit and knock a few business calls off my list. Good business!
