Fast Frame offers quality custom picture framing craftsmanship to consumers, art collectors, interior designers and commercial clients. We have an extensive selection of quality mouldings, art, mirrors galore and a gallery full of ideas for browsing.

Our 3-​D object and shadow box experience includes jerseys, artifacts, memorabilia, mementos, awards, ribbons, and business products. We are versed in stretching/​gallery wrapping oils, acrylics, giclees, and needlework. We understand the proper techniques and challenges for framing artwork such as pastels, photographs, serigraphs, lithographs, drawings, cells, and originals. Documents, diplomas, crayon and noodle-​art, and posters all deserve the same attention to detail.

History

Established in 1990.

This location was first opened in 1990 and has been under the same management since 1992, and same ownership since 1996. I am constantly editing and renewing my gallery of custom framing and art, in addition to continuing my education as a certified picture framer.

Business Owner

I graduated with a degree in Interior Design and have spent my entire career working in the art and framing industry. After 7 years of retail store management, I went behind the scenes as a buyer for custom framing for 5 years, and then arrived at Fastframe in San Mateo. I managed this location for 4 years and purchased the business in 1996. I can truly say that there is not a day I do not enjoy coming to my gallery, and I am lucky to be able to continually do something I am passionate about.
