Jamba Juice is amazing here as for the Customer Service they can work on it a little by more. I over heard a conversation of them arguing while making drinks. I suggest they deal with there problems towards each other after work. While at work you should put your A attitude on and present your Company’s product with a positive attitude.

Slowest service in Jamba Juice ever… 5 f*in employees visible behind the counter and 1 making drinks and when another employee looked at printer, there were 6 tickets drink waiting to be made… AGAINONLY1 out of 5 employees making drinks… WTF and the the F*** is the manager… This place is ridiculous…

I was more of a fan of the Coleman location in San Jose. This location has a better layout than Willow Glen(simply awful) or Palo Alto, with a long deck to keep people waiting for their smoothies out of the line area, but the wait time simply wasn’t good. Usually even with someone in front of me, the wait time is consistently about 3 – 4 minutes — this location was more than 5. I understand they were short staffed, but I always seem to see a line when I walk by the doors, so I’m not sure if it’s a staffing issue or a efficiency issue. I did receive friendly service though, and that(to me) will sometimes make up for the wait. It’s nice to have a Jamba, again, near a Starbucks so I appreciate that I can swoop up both when needed, I just wish the wait wasn’t so bad.

Ugh! Worst customer service ever! Two employees leave us hanging while serving people who came after us even after I pointed it out they continued to stand around, clean up and restock supplies while I’m still waiting for my drink but my daughter is sipping hers. Then blame each other rudely never trying to hurry things up or give a mea culpa. Done with Jamba!

In my previous Unilocal about Jamba Juice Millbrae, that they have the BEST jalapeño muffin roll, hubby and I decided to stop by 4th ave san mateo to try theirs. we were passing Starbucks and just few steps beside it was Jamba Juice. My husband and I decided a combination frap from starbucks and our favorite Jalapeño Cheddar Roll from Jamba Juice. Thinking itd be the same taste as Milbrae’s branch but as the chubby gal served it to go, i left and met hubby at starbucks for our frap. We brought the coffee and bread to Shoreline for our sit-down snack with magnificent view of the water. We were dismayed by the outcome of the roll the Gal from Jamba Juice gave us. She reheated it and coz she kept on walking and waltzing inside the store, regardless of the timer she set on the stove, the Jalapeño roll came out BURNT

Service was fast and friendly and product was excellent — BUT $ 6 for a medium and $ 7 for a large smoothie??? They must have recently raised their prices… will either have to win the next powerball or get a higher paying job to come back…

Service here today was really bad, unfocused and lengthy. Took almost 20 minutes to get my smoothie when there was 1 person In front of me. Seemed like they were having a bad time.

Customer service is good. Very friendly and drinks are tasty compare to other locations I been before. Minor detail: I love ordering my drinks online a night before to pick up my drink the next morning, then I find out some of the members of Jamba Juice don’t know they offer that service. I had to wait for my drink to be made when I got to the store. Thank goodness I wasn’t in a hurry, so I had the time to wait for my drink.

Jamba always has good smoothies so the review is purely on the service. The crew here doesn’t look like they know what to do. There are 3 guys in the back with 4 customers waiting on drinks, and for the past 10 minutes I can see no one making any drinks. I see the supervisor telling someone what to do but nothing to do with making drinks. Lol. And now the person who ordered after me got their drinks before me. Wth???

Opinion is strictly to this location, not Jamba Juice overall. Among different locations this one consistently has better services and qualities. Looks like well trained and well managed crew work here.

Okay so I work at a Jamba Juice as well but everytime I go to this location from the shift lead to the regular employees they act like they don’t speak any English and they don’t understand what the hell I’m saying!!! I ordered a 24 ounce chunky strawberry bowl which takes a whole banana hello I work there, I told you that and you wanna give me 4 slices of a banana and tell me that’s a whole banana??? You charge me full price for the bowl and this is like the 4th time you’ve done it!!! If you’re going to work there do your job don’t half ass people that are paying top dollar for Jamba! So angry wish I could give a worse rating on here!

Yikes. It feels like everyone that works here is having a serious case of the«Mondays». 20 minutes and not a drink in site. Yet, all the workers run in around(5) look confused and sweaty like it’s their first day slangin smoothies. better luck next time, maybe? Mind you we ordered 2 kid size smoothies.(The same kind) I clearly had a lot of free time to even write this review in the store. With two kids in tow. Lol

I honestly don’t think the workers here could move any slower. Girl at the register was in slo motion, manager ignored her and only decided to help when there were already over ten people lined up. Wonderful start to the day.

Such a shame that this Jamba location has gone downhill. The staff is completely incompetent, slow, inattentive, and rude. I don’t know how they stay in business. Starbucks and Noah’s next door offer smoothies, and I hope people vote with their feet!

I will keep this as short and sweet as possible: Pros: *located in downtown San Mateo *24 minute parking available in front which makes it easier to stop in Cons: *slow service seemingly due to an issue with work efficiency in the back on their drink line *prices, value & quality have gone down considerably over the years for me with Jamba Juice(JJ) overall. Drinks keep getting more expensive while service & quality are spotty at best. I remember the days when I could walk into a JJ and walk out thrilled with the product I had just purchased. Now I’m just hoping that whatever employee is working the drink line knows what they are doing. *waited almost 20 minutes for a smoothie today when there could not have been more than 6 guests waiting in pick up and order lines. Lack of staffing seemed to be an issue as the cashier post was left unattended at times due to the wait for drinks to be made. Overall…I very well may have to find myself another smoothie spot after many years of loyalty to JJ. *sad face*

Went to Jamba Juice today. Their customer service skills seems to have improved. The only questionable things in my mind was are they truly cleaning the containers when they make the juice? Are they washing hands when appropriate while preparing your juice and handling the cups, lids, straws? The reason I question this is because the guy who prepared my juice had dirty fingernails. You could literally see the dirt on the ridges of his nails. I do think the appearance of your fingernails matter when working in the food, juice restaurant chain business. He was nice but please keep the nails clean when preparing juice for customers.

The customer service here sucks! First of all, they don’t like to give you the receipt with the free drink survey attached to it for some reason. Second, my personal experience with them ticked me off because it’s definitely loud in there and I couldn’t hear them call out my drink. So when I finally realized my drink was there I went to go grab it and say thank you, but the girl was like«I called that a loooooooong time ago» with attitude. Like seriously I don’t care if you did, I had no problem with it. Why give attitude like that to a customer? Learn customer service skills please and thank you.

Stood at the counter for a few minutes and it seemed no one was there, so I left. No semi-healthy snack for me, so two stars for you. I like Jamba Juice so this review is on the specific location, not Jamba as a company. I’ve been here before and I remember they take a little more time than I’m used to. That is all. Boooooo. Tip To Owner (Yelp — Give me credit if you copy this idea please, thank you… haha) My Tip To Owner is make sure the staff knows to be on the floor at all times, OR get a door chime for crying out loud… haha I hope this helps, God Bless. ~Da Critic

Berry Upbeet, basically a berry smoothie with beat juice, was pretty good. Even though I don’t care much for beats(and would never eat them unless in liquid form), the beat juice flavor didn’t overwhelm the berry goodness, so it was all good. Here’s the kicker though, while my friend and I were waiting for our orders, she noticed one of the smoothie preparers or whatever they’re called picking his ear for 30 seconds. I missed it because I was absorbed in my phone, but she insisted he was digging away for 30 seconds. In the end, she decided not to complain because the dirty picking finger never actually contaminated the inside of the blender of juice and stuff. Nonetheless, it was disconcerting enough that I decided to give fair warning in my review.
