I currently have opening at my daycare. My hours are 7 – 5:30 Monday thru Friday .Ive been a Daycare Provider for over 20 years. CPR and First Aid. I strive to create a true family atmosphere in which your child is welcomed into my home as part of our my family. I believe that caring for children consists of so much more than just supervision. I incourage good manners, self esteem, and personel habits… I believe kids should be kids… We color, sing. read stories, learn our numbers, and our abc… Please call me if you think your family is interested in my daycare. Established in 1989.

Im a mom of two and I have a grandson… I started my busines because I had two children of my own. I wanted to stay home and raise my children. But couldnt afford to. So I decided to open my own daycare. So I could be home with my children and make a living at the same time… But its very rewarding job. I love children. Seeing them grow and move on out of my daycare. But still keeping in touch with me. When they have move and I return to visit me. To see how they develop in life.

Lucy is amazing. In her home she cares for toddlers all of whom constantly want her attention — she handles it beautifully. I was so surprised at how well she knows my son. She potty trains him and gets him to eat. 2 things I have had trouble with. My son has flourished with Lucy — his vocabulary — his ability to follow instructions — he is no longer shy around other kids. He sings the alphabet and jingle bells… When I sneak in to pick him up — I can catch him playing and enjoying himself. I hated leaving him at Day Care but to see him so content and well cared for at Lucy’s — I couldn’t ask for more reassurance. Its a small group so I have no worries about him getting lost in the shuffle. Lucy has been a wonderful help to me, a fantastic care-​giver to my son and an easy to work with person. I like her and our experience with Lucy very much. 5 stars from me!

I absolutely love Lucy! My 12 year old went to her when he was little for several years, and now my 1 year old goes to her. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my kids the way I trust Lucy. She immediately made me feel at ease, after interviewing several other providers I knew within 15 minutes she was the right fit.
My 12 yr old still likes to go see her when we pick up my little one, they formed such a strong bond. Lucy was amazing at potty training him as well, I barely had to do any work!
I’ve never met anyone like Lucy who cares after these kids like they are her own. The environment is fun, upbeat and happy, and completely safe. I recommend her to everyone I know when they are looking for childcare. It just doesn’t get better than Lucy!

We love Lucy! Our son has been going to her for a year now, since he was 3 months old. She and the nurturing, stimulating environment in her home bring the best out in him and the other happy children we see there. She seems to work terrifically with the unique disposition of each child. Plus, she takes them out to the playground across the street daily for some sunshine! We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and would recommend her to any area parent.

Lucy is the best! Found her through the four c’s many years ago after interviewing tons of day cares. Our first meeting was amazing, she bonded with my daughter instantly and quickly became a second mommy to my daughter. Lucy was a God send for me, she helped me out with great advice, helped with the potty training and best of all quickly became a good friend. Almost 13 years later I am still referring people to her and no one has been unhappy. She is the best in the area and lives across the street from a gated park, lots of play time! her house is huge and she has a large room dedicated to just the kids.

Lucy is a great Daycare provider! She has been taking care of my daughter since she was 6 months old. (now 7 yrs old). My daughter cares about Lucy so much that even now with her in school she still asks to go to Lucy’s house to visit. To me that is a sign of a great daycare, because kids only ask to go places they like. Lucy truely cares for and about all the kids she watches unlike other commercial daycares. In addition, she has a great gated park for kids to play right next to her. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending her to take care of your children.

My daughter Emily started Lucy’s day care at 15 months, it was so hard for both of us. Lots of tears, after spending 15 months with her mummy full time. It took about 3 weeks to transition, mostly due to the fact Emily was only part time and so confused by the irregularity and Lucy actually predicted this would be the case. Emily now loves it, some days she doesn’t want to leave!
Lucy’s home is well equipped for the children. She has numerous toys, challenging and developing the children’s skills. Emily has become quite adept at transforming lego into all sorts of interesting objects! There is a park directly across the road, with a variety of slides, sand boxes and swings. So I feel good that Emily is not cooked up all day and has some out door time at least once a day, weather permitting!
Lucy is so patient with the children and I have never heard her raise her voice. She teaches them consideration for the other children, such as the importance of sharing and encourages them with positive recognition. Emily wasn’t talking when starting day care, she is attempting to sing along to songs now and has a expanding vocabularly. I feel like she is happy, thriving and socially very comfortable around other children in any environment.
I can without hesitation recommend Lucy’s day care. Her rates are very reasonable and I feel good leaving her there, knowing she is safe and in very experienced hands.

Lucy has been taking care of our 2-​year old daughter for the last year and we think it is a great environment for kids. Lucy is very patient — which is saying a lot with several going through the «Terrible Twos» together. It took very little time for our daughter to get used to the daycare and she has grown to love it. Lucy’s house is laid out well with a large separate (gated) room full of toys, with lots of safe space for rambunctious toddlers. The rates are very reasonable (we looked at four other daycare options) and Lucy has been a great choice!
