We hired Michael and his guys again to redo our newly bought house and needless to say, they did an amazing job. Michael, Manny and Joe’s work is beyond awesome. We have three bathrooms in our house. There was a poorly designed Jacuzzi and a corroded bathtub. They replaced the bathrooms with stall shower and new bath tub with ceiling high tiles all around. They refinished another bath tub and they finished tile flooring in all the three bathrooms to boot. Our bathrooms now look brand new with refinished vanities all around. They found couple of plumbing issues and they fixed them up properly as well. We left our house keys with them and they required no baby sitting what so ever. They were very trustworthy, professional and courteous. I would recommend Michael and co. to anybody.

I finally took the leap and decided to have this done after receiving their fliers in my monthly mail time after time. I am hardly disappointed! From the initial phone call that provided me with a sense of confidence in knowing what they were doing, to the sales rep., Jerod, and then finally the master of execution, Manny, our entire experience was a great one. Manny is very meticulous and talented. You can see that he has done this procedure for a while now. He is very knowledgeable about his craft. We are no longer embarrassed about our tub and tile being the only bathroom in the house!

Manny did an excellent job with the tub and tile. He was very respectful, and knew exactly want he was doing! Very happy with the outcome! Will highly recommend him for any future work with Nice Tubs!

What a difference a year makes! Since our first experience with this company, we’ve tried twice to work with them again and found the service has gone way downhill. If you need tub or tile work done, I suggest you look elsewhere.
A few months ago, we contacted Michael, the owner, about a tile project in our home. He made an appointment to come by to give us an estimate. He called a few minutes before the appointment to cancel, claiming that he was in our neighborhood but his GPS could not find our house. He was not willing to reschedule and said he was no longer interested in the job. Everyone can find us using GPS and Michael had been here before (three times!), so his story didn’t make sense. We found another contractor to do the work and didn’t think too much about it at the time.
More recently, there was an accident that caused damage to the tub that Michael had reglazed last year. We specifically wanted him to repair or redo the tub and again tried to hire him. When I called, he said that he was too busy to come by to give us an estimate but that he could easily quote the job if I sent him photos of the damaged tub. I sent the photos but got no response. When I called a few days later, he hadn’t looked at the photos yet, but said that he would and would call the next day. He didn’t call. I called several more times and left messages each time, but Michael never returned our calls, never gave us an estimate, never followed up in any way.
A big selling point when we first hired Michael was the 5-​year guarantee he offered on his work. His guarantee is COMPLETELY WORTHLESS, though, if he won’t even return your phone call.
I don’t know what’s happened, but it seems like Michael no longer has much interest in providing good customer service – or any customer service – even to people who are already established customers. When the business owner is unresponsive and unreliable, it’s time to look elsewhere.

Was very pleased with my tub. Only took a few hours and the tub looked brand new. Manny did a very professional job with professional courtesy. I did look at some other contractors but some didn’t even bother returning my call. very pleased.,

I am really happy that I chose Michael and his crew to work on my two bathrooms before I put my place up for sale.
My bathrooms were old and definitely needed some updating. When I called for an estimate, Michael was able to meet me the same day to look at the bathrooms and suggested what work needed to be done. Compared to the other contractors I’ve met with, his prices were way more reasonable and would be done in a short period of time.
Reading the other Unilocal reviews also helped me with my decision making as well. I saw pics of the finished jobs they’ve done and they were amazing.
I was able to meet with Jared, who helped clean and prep one of the bathrooms and then Joel, who did the majority of the work. He re-​tiled the floors, refinished the countertops, bath tile, bathtub and shower pan. He even replaced the shower doors, the bathroom fixtures and replaced my old toilets.
The job took 3 weeks to finish and what a huge difference. My bathrooms are new and beautiful!!! Several of my neighbors who were able to see my place during the open house complimented on how nice the bathrooms turned out and I gave Michael’s contact info since a few of them are looking on getting work done as well. Thanks so much!!!

Manny did an excellent job refinishing our tub. Only took one day and it looked new again. He was thorough and went over everything with us after the job was done. We even had it done on a weekend which was much more convenient for us. Thanks for a great job!

Very happy with our experience refinishing an old clawfoot tub. The owner took time to answer my initial questions. Our tech could not have been nicer. The quality of work was superior. Our tub looks and feels great.

I contacted this company to get an estimate on refinishing the tub, tile floor and maybe install a glass enclosure, he called back quickly, but won’t estimate on site. Once I told him I thought in that case, maybe I couldn’t hire him for this job, he rudely hung up. Although some people have posted glowing reviews, this Michael has an abrasive personality. I have already spent over $ 30,000 on my condo remodel and have hired a lot of contractors to get to this point. My spidey senses say to NOT hire this guy.

We live in our family home, a Craftsman cottage, built in 1926 and I am a restorationist wife because I treasure old and original «things». While our tub, thankfully, is not original with the home, it IS «old». We had the tub refinished by «the other guys» over ten years ago and when the bottom of the tub started peeling out, it was time to call for help.
Michael, a pro, sent us Jerad and now we have a new tub. In fact, Jared worked so hard that he fixed an old mess that «the other guy» left behind. Jared sanded and removed old etching (wrinkled surface grooves) and left behind a finish that is impeccable. I haven’t witnessed this type of craftsmanship in other work we’ve had done to our home. I have nothing but great things to say about Jared. His warmth, his style, his dedication to detail. I could go on and on and spend great time Unilocaling his worth. Would I have Jared back again? In a heartbeat. I am heartened to know that there are young men coming up that have the sight and awareness Jared displays. He is an asset to his employer and we are especially grateful he is the guy anyone would want to have in their home. Thank you, Nice Tub and THANK YOU JARED!!! Ten Stars! and a HUG.

Michael came for estimate and suggestion and Manny refinished our tub and two countertops. They are firm at their bid but the result looks very nice with 5 year warranty. Manny is a friendly worker and answered our questions with patience and also provided much information about how to clean the tub properly. I will update the review once we move in and start using the tub and sink.

From meeting Michael the owner and getting a quota for the job that needed to be done I felt at ease. He was very helpful and answered any and all questions that I had about refinishing my tub .I also can’t say enough about the job that his employ Manny did, you would not believe that he could have turned our peeling and rusting tub into what now looks like it was removed and replaced with a new one. He was very professional with the job. PRIDE RUNS DEEP in this company! I would highly recommend them for tub and tile Refinishing.

A friend of mine referred me to Nice Tub And Tile. Her place looked great! We had our bathroom tile, tub, new shower door and hardware for the tub. Also, we had our kitchen tub resurfaced. Everything came out excellent! Michael the owner was very informative and he helped us with our choices. Donovan did such a great job and our bathroom looks like a hotel spa. The price was great too! After having 3 attempts to refinish my tub by another contractor, I was left with a marshmallowy, sticky, gooey mess that never dried and shower doors that never fit properly.
A friend recommended Nice Tub and Tile. Donovan arrived the day after I called and went to work. I think he’s a magician! He’s totally professional, pleasant and enthusiatic about his work. The tub looks so beautiful that I don’t want to use it but I will. The new shower doors fit perfectly.
My only regret is that I didn’t call Nice Tub and Tile first. I highly reommend this company. I don’t think I can ever eat marshmallows again.

Professional and amazing results! My old bathroom is totally reformed and sparkling. Michael knows his products and Manny was the most respectful and hard working expert.
Prices are comparable to others BUT customer service AND a good price are hard to find.
I highly recommend this company.

OK so called Michal and he answered cell phone immediately I explained I had a leaking problem from my bathroom to neighbors below and he came to my home 2 hours later once he arrived and identified a couple of issues then presented me with a very low cost solution to fix my leak needless to say I agreed and my leak was fixed for a very reasonable price! Thanks Michael I really appreciate your professional response and solution!

One of the best jobs I’ve had done recently. Michael very thoroughly and patiently explained exactly what he offered and made sure I was getting exactly what I was paying for. His contractor was punctual and efficient. The work itself, a new shower door and a shower pan reglazing, was absolutely flawless and gorgeous.

I requested for technician Manny since he did one of my two bathrooms in 2013. He just did a wonderful job on my master bathroom; excellent job that I’m giving him five stars.

This is hands-​down the BEST company to hire to remodel your bathroom! I feel so lucky that I was introduced to them through another contractor. From the minute I met Michael to the day he finished, he always had a kind smile and very friendly personality. Honestly, I was not really looking forward to remodeling my 2 bathrooms, as I thought it would cost a lot and be a huge hassle. However, my experience with Nice Tub was completely different than what I expected:
1. Nice Tub offers very, very reasonable rates for the beautiful work they do. I’m not a rich person and Michael was patient to work with my needs and my budget.
2. Michael came completely prepared on the day we met to discuss the remodeling, which made the whole process move along smoothly and efficiently. The variety of samples he brought made my decision easy and painless!
3. All employees at Nice Tub are very nice… they do live up to their name! Every time Michael or the technician left my house I kept saying to myself «Wow, they ARE nice!»
4. The technician is not only really respectful and kind, he is REALLY good at what he does! I was very impressed on how carefully he covered up everything around the bathroom and bedroom (one of the bathrooms is located in the Master Bedroom). He took his time to do the work as clean as possible, and correctly.
5. The company accommodated my fluctuating schedule. Due to my odd work schedule and split living between 2 different houses, I had quite a difficult schedule to work with. Michael & the tech were kind enough to work around my schedule, although I know it might have been somewhat of a burden to their other projects.
6. For the amount of work they did on my 2 bathrooms, they finished in a very timely manner. The whole construction project was not much of a hassle for my housemates and me, which was a very pleasant surprise… construction doesn’t have to be stressful!
Overall, Nice Tub & Tile Solutions is a very professional company that offers very reasonable rates for excellent work. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family (and anyone who reads my Unilocal reviews). My bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t be happier!
