This place is horrible, went for wheel mount/​balance/​install. I did some research after and found that he charged me over double for what other garages are charging, they were just close and thought because they were a run down shithole they would be the cheapest. WRONG. He tried to keep my TPMS sensors so I had to go back and complain about it, he reluctantly agreed to give them back but then refused to re-​balance my tires, even though the weight was different with the TPMS sensors.
To make matters worse he had one of his lackeys do the whole job, like an apprentice or something that didn’t even know what he was doing. No wonder this took me 4 trips (of which I had to wake up much earlier than I usually do as I work nights).
Bottom line is this place sucks, if you want a crappy half-​ass shop that doesn’t speak English to do your repairs at double the price you can get it done up the road then I guess go here. Or if you’re a normal person who wants the best bang for their buck without sacrificing quality or service, go somewhere else! This place is overly priced and their quality sucks.
I had to go somewhere else to get the tires balanced afterward, the place I went to said Rafa’s did a crappy job at balancing because the weights were on sideways at an angle, all in a row. It wasn’t properly done.

I called ahead and they said they had a tire I needed. I showed up and the manager (owner?) said he needed to bring it from their storage facility and asked me to come back in 45 minutes. When I returned, I had to knock on the office door where he seemed to be hiding, and he said sorry, they couldn’t help me.
TERRIBLE experience and would rather drive around on a flat tire than return here.

First to review, hopefully a few more will help Rafa out with his small tire shop.
I was in the area today for an appointment I was early to. I had an hour to spend so I decided to get a tire replaced on my car.
I don’t do new tires. For what you pay for a new tire at Costco (nothing against them, they’re good when it comes to used tires) you can typically get 2 – 3 used tires in solid condition.
I usually go to Rolling Stock or Larkin Bros in SF.
Today, I went to Rafa’s and it blew Larkin Bros and Rolling stock out the dang water!
For what a used tire usually runs me at either of those shops, I got two tires from Rafa and in much better condition with better treads.
A lot of used tire retailers usually sort through their junk tires for solid tires and resell them. This guy orders them so you get a better tire.
$ 70 for two tires, installed and all work was done in about 25 – 30 mins.
