Snowee Yogurt

This yogurt place was pretty decent and the yogurt very tasty. I have been here several times since the place is across the office on the 25^th. They have some other food items too but yogurt is the main attraction for me. I hope to see them open since frozen Yogurt is good to have right across the street.

Go here for shaved ice. Recommend getting: lychee, orange, green apple flavors. would not recommend some of the more exotic flavors. careful of your flavor selection. Best shaved ice to date. Super fine shaving. Flavors are combined in the ice, then shaved for the best and smoothest shaved ice you will ever eat. Get the large so you can try two flavors at once. Eat it then and there, melts quickly!

I go here with my 2 grandchildren because they like the yogurt. However, the woman
behind the counter is so rude.
The last time we went the children did say that she made them feel uncomfortable because she threw out their drink before they were finished.
I am looking for another yogurt place in this area. The yogurt is okay, and the place is clean, but the woman in charge is a real «sour puss.»

¼/​15: Drinks seem okay, about average. The snow ice wasn’t what I was expecting though…
1. #29 Taro Bubble Drink $ 3.00 with Tapioca: This one has a nice taro flavor. As Chinese FOBs would say, «not too sweet» (which to them is a good thing.) The tapioca was slightly on the hard side, but fine. ⁵⁄₁₀.
2. #7 Chocolate Peanut Butter Coffee $ 3.99 Large: Soooo… if you’re looking for the yummy layered, flaky shaved snow piled with fruits, condensed milk, and other flavors, this is NOT it. Here it looks like they flavor the snow, and then shave it. No fancy syrups or fruit or anything else other than the shaved snow. And the snow itself does not have the fine texture that the best ones have. As for this flavor, don’t really taste no coffee. Some chocolate and peanut butter, but not very strong. I’d pass on this one, and probably avoid any of their «snow ice» concoctions. ³⁄₁₀.
The décor is an attempt to be Asian hip, but I don’t think it really hits the mark. Not like it matters that much. Anyway, the drinks seem okay.

Cute shop, but that does not outweigh poor service and weak frozen yogurt, any other yogurt place in SM is better than Snowee.

Ive tried really hard to like this place, but each time this place just got worse.
–Food is not fresh, its just reheated
–Yogurt melts so fast, that once you walk out the door a ¹⁄₃ of your dessert is melted
–Yogurt tasted like gasoline (Vanilla flavor) a few times, I threw it out immediately. This is a food safety concern.
–Stingy on toppings and yogurt samples
–Worst of all, Service. No greeting, No thank you, and Slow.
The only thing worth getting is the shaved ice (snowee). But not even that can being me back to this place.

I stopped in last week for a Root Beer bubble drink and what I received was milk and bubbles. After I explained to the lady that this buble drink (which took like 10 mins to make), didnt taste like Root Beer, she said, «yes it does, it’s ok! Anything else?.»… I was like WTF!
I paid and left… not coming back here.

A dessert place with the worst service and poor quality shaved ice, hands down!
Walked into here for some lychee flavored shaved ice. No idea how much artificial sugar they put into that chunk of ice brick, but they definitely try to save budget by adding zero milk nor quality ice. The shaved ice tasted like slushy loaded with sugar. Disgusting.
They have about 8 flavors on the fro-​yo section. I tried the watermelon and pistachio ones. Again, loaded with sugar. Yes, thanks for labeling them as «non-​fat». But why not labelling out the amount of sugar they put in to make this cheap piece of c**p?!
Service, where do I start. Rude, RUde, RUDE! I wanted to try some fro-​yo samples while waiting for my shaved ice, so I asked for some sample cups. The owner/​staff asked me to wait till she had time, even though these sample cups were right within her reach. Only to find out the reasoning behind it later on. Guess what? She would come fill the sample cup for you! Yes, so that she could 1) limit the number of the sample cups you use down to only ONE. 2) minimize the amount of samples you try. HOW CHEAP CAN THEY BE?! After I finished a sample cup filled watermelon froyo, and my shaved ice was still nowhere to be seen. I figured I could try out the pistachio flavor with the same sample cup. No no no. Of course this is not allowed in this place. How dare I! She came back shouting at me «excuse me! please do not do that!». OK FINE! Right after, this older lady came in. She tried to fill some froyo into her cup, but it got dropped onto the base of the froyo machine. She got yelled at as well by the same lady. «Excuse me! Please make sure to put it into your cup! Now I have to wipe it again!»…
OMG are you serious?! I am sorry that I did not get the memo for this place. Otherwise I would of known to treat this place like a palace that is supposed to be mess-​free! Last time when I checked, I was still a customer that was supposed to enjoy my experience in a froyo place as a customer.
Iwill NEVER step foot in this place ever again!

I like to go to snowee for the boba. The kids like the shave ice and the froyo. They have other snacks too that are pretty tasty, though some snacks take a bit to cook. It’s good to have a place like this local.

I had tapioca milk tea here while waiting for my takeout order from Noodle House next door. I requested for my drink to not be too sweet, and the proprietor made it not sweet, but the flavor was watery.
I’ve had froyo here twice. I would not go out of my way to go to Snowee for it, but it’s convenient if you’re already on 25^th… for the post office or something?

The service SUCKS. Other than that, I have no complaints.
I filled up the smallest size to the top, for about $ 4.30, so a pretty reasonable price! They have 3 sizes, but the small is pretty big and you can fill it to the brim with foryo and toppings for less than $ 5!
I like how they always have fresh fruit, usually mangoes and strawberries! They have four flavors that change almost daily, which keeps things interesting! The other two flavors are chocolate and vanilla, which are always offered. So six flavors in all. Their toppings don’t change, but they have a good variety.

There’s seating on the first floor, and there is adorable upstairs seating with turf flooring and the cutest little animal chairs and blocks and games– perfect for little kids! There’s also seating with about 8 stools!
I love their Snowees, I highly recommend them!!! Every flavor is delicious!
I don’t recommend you order a meal, they aren’t too expensive and they taste okay, but the servings are tiny! Also, their tea is nothing special.
They also have Snowees cards that you can stamp and get your 10^th Snowee/​foryo free!

Do not come to this place for any dessert. The Asian lady with short hair behind the counter is rude rude rude. Came in after lunch on a Friday to an empty store and when I pulled the lever for some froyo a bunch of wet liquid came pouring out into the cup so I tossed it in the trash and got a new cup. After filling up my cup with the flavors I wanted I turn around to see the short haired Asian lady with the ugliest sourpuss stink eye of a face holding the cup I tossed in the trash and she says «do not do this (holding the cup she dug out from the trash) you know how much money you are costing me?»
I told her that a bunch of liquid came out of the machine and I didn’t want wet froyo, she responds with «you are wasting my money!» At this point I had a full cup of froyo that I was planning on purchasing and I put it on the counter and told her if she is going to treat her customers like this then I am not going to purchase her yogurt and I walked out. My friend was in the store paying for hers and she told Ms. Sourpuss that hers had a bunch of liquid too. Ms. Sourpuss responds in a nasty voice «that’s how it is supposed to me» and my friend tells her that she has never seen liquid like that come out of a froyo machine. Ms. Sourpuss retorts «haven’t you ever bought yogurt before? That’s how it’s supposed to be» My friend buys froyo like three times a week and I am also a frequent froyo patron and have never seen liquid come spilling out of a machine like that.
Bad froyo, rude service, would not be surprised to see this place gone within a few months.

My friend bought me a milk tea boba from this place a couple of times. There is a good tea flavor but sometimes boba is not too good.
I tried the lychee shaved ice today. It was good. It was light, fluffy, and flavorful. The cost was $ 2.99 for a small and it was in a pretty good size cup. It was refreshing for a hot day!
I would come back for shaved ice and maybe to try their froyo too.

I am impressed. Walked-​in while passing by. Decided on a snowee. Instead of shaving ice and pouring syrup, how it’s traditionally done, Snowee freezes huge frozen chunks of flavor so after they shave it, it is good to go. This makes the service relatively quick [but i imagine it’s way stickier/​messier back there]. I got orange and pineapple, and it was great! Light and fluffy shavings, full of flavor. Seems like a healthy dessert too.

I signed up to Unilocal just to write this review. I’ve been here twice now and both times were filed with antissapointment. I have now sampled the yougort and bubble tea and both were watered down, sugar filled, and the taste was wretched. I was so put off by the taste the gutter water outside looked like a cold gleaning glass of water in the middle of a 10 year Sahara desert expedition. When I told the staff about it they did nothing, not even a sorry, these guys make the bums in the T-​Loin look like Martha Stewart.
Avoid at all cost, send this place out of business, so a real dessert shop can fill their vacancy.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I ordered a vanilla snowee and got this powdery mess in a bowl. Even when the guy handed it to me, powder was flying everywhere. My «snowee» was 4 spoonfuls of actual «shaved Ice.»
I kindly asked if this is how it is supposed to be and the 2 employees responded with rude remarks and dismissed me. I’ve had real shaved ice in at Blockheads in LA so I know what it’s supposed to be like.
Plenty of better places to eat dessert. Don’t waste your money and time by going here.

Snowee Yogurt. the infamous yogurt location that opened up on 25^th and has been bringing the local school kids here and neighbors since it’s grand opening.
On a hot day, I’ll find myself wandering into Snowee Yogurt. When my younger cousins are in the neighborhood, I’ll once again find myself wandering inside as well.
I’m not a fro-​yo type of gal, so I’ve had a lot of their Snowee Snow/​Ice thingys… Always good! You can mix flavors for the bigger sizes, so I recommend Lychee and Coconut or Coconut and Pineapple/​Mango. Tropical heaven in your mouth! Their boba teas are ok. Not special, but it gets the boba cravings happy!

Cute place and good for the kids, because they have a seating area upstairs with toys. Prices are fine and food is what you would get at a snack shack at your community pool.
But here comes the most important part of my review:
DON’T GET THE FRO-​YO, GET A SNOWEE!
The Snowees are amazingly delicious and creamy, which is surprising for a snow cone-​esque treat. I recommend Pineapple, Chocolate, and Cotton Candy.

Been here twice. I love the texture of snowee, however I wish they packed the container more. Maybe the machine is expensive, but ice is cheap so don’t be stingy!
Have yet to try their yogurt.

I really like this place! I definitely recommend that if you are in the area you try this place out and get a snowee! The texture is not like any other I’ve ever tasted before. I used to get snow cones from the ice cream truck when I was younger and it’s definitely not quite the same as that. I can’t say I’ve ever had shaved ice so I can’t compare it to that either. What I can say is that it is quite tasty and a perfect treat on a warm summer day!
I wanted to try two flavors and got watermelon and bubblegum. I was a little apprehensive though because I had read one review which mentioned their watermelon being flavorless. It actually was full of flavor and was my favorite between the two, but I really liked both and would get both flavors again! FYI if you want to get two flavors you have to buy a large size snowee. Their large is very big and looked almost too big when the woman handed it to me. But because it’s so soft and melts it didn’t seem like it was too much once I started eating it. Plus it was so good I had to have every last bite!
I noticed on my visit a sign advertising their dessert crepes. I had actually been craving crepes so the next day I came back and got a crêpe with mixed fruit, nutella, and whipped cream. It was very good! I actually liked it better than the crêpe I had just a few days before at a place that specializes in crepes! The crêpe was just how I like it — warm and soft, the fruit tasted fresh, and there was just the right amount of nutella in it. It took awhile for it to come out though, but they were also busier that day.
The shop is very clean with a good amount of tables and sunlight coming in. There is also an upstairs area with additional seating and play area. They also have self-​serve fro-​yo which I have not tried, but I’m pretty loyal to Pinkberry so I’ll just stick to the snowees and crepes here. They are definitely yummy!
