I am completely appalled at this liquor store. I never use words like appalled but I am so angry with this liquor store. I may be wrong here but I feel very disrespected. I walk in with my sister and cousins because I needed a drink. I was thirsty and I just came from getting my hair done at I-Salon. I roam the store because I roam around every store. I stall because I’m a fatty and I want everything. Anyways, I go to check out and I seen swishers and I was thinking, oh might as well buy swishers for myself. First I want to clearly state, I am over 18, in fact, I am 21 years old. My sister and cousin isn’t but when I wanted to buy a damn pack of swishers, the cashier had the nerve to say«Let me check ALL your IDs.» Do you know why he asked for all of our IDs? Because this guy thinks it’s okay to judge me by my age. He thinks because I’m young that he can ask for ALL our IDs. If I was older and I brought my daughter in to buy a pack of cigarettes and some alcohol, would you ask me for my ID and my daughters? Would you refuse to sell me something if I brought my daughter with me? So this liquor store is saying that, anyone who brings in a minor with them will not be able to buy alcohol or cigarettes? I really hope you ask every single person for an ID because I feel discriminated if they don’t. I also want to state that if you are accusing that I will give my sister a swisher isn’t that my problem that I get in trouble with the authorities? I’m not saying I will because I would never tell my sister to smoke, ever but you don’t know me. I SUGGESTNOONETOEVERWALKINTOTHISLIQUORSTORE. They overpriced everything. You are better off driving further down to Safeway or the local market down the street.

18 oz Crystal Geyser Sparkling Mineral water is only $ 1. That’s really cheap for a bodega. A couple years ago, Wes Liquors was used as a store front in a scene for the movie ‘Chasing Mavericks’(starring Gerard Butler) to look like Santa Cruz Avenue in downtown Santa Cruz in the 80s.

YAHOO … New Owners! Owner is really friendly & helpful. Yes, he does speak English! The store stocks a variety of goods. Big boxes of candy like you buy at the movies, but for half the price!!! Sunglasses, some personal hygiene stuff that you may need in a pitch, low to medium range of decent wines & high end hard liquor. Great place to come to if you need something real quick, and even if you don’t. Prices are excellent. I’m a fan!!!

I never thought that I would write a review for a liquor store, but the guy behind the counter Needs some serious customer service training. I felt like I was in convincing him when I stepped in to the store. I almost apologized for disturbing him. My favorite liquor store is in Hayward, Model liquor gives good service and like cheers, everybody in there knows your name.

CHECKTHEEXPDATEBEFORELEAVINGTHISSTORE! This happened TWICE! Today and a few months ago. The first time my boyfriend went to go buy cigarettes & I wanted chocolate candy. He came back home and after i opened the bag, i noticed the chocolate color didnt look right. I checked the expiration date, it expired a couple months ago. I couldn’t eat it anymore. Tonight i wanted sweets or red vine licorice. It didn’t click my head right away to check the date until after i paid for it. I checked it and it was expired! 2 of them! Went to tell him and exchange it for another candy. Find out, some of the other candies are also expired! I told the guy and the girl and asked for my money back. They didnt bother to go to the shelves and grab the expire candies! They don’t care. If they did, they wouldve went and check the shelves right away. It just seemed like they didnt care at all. They kept laughing, smiling, and kept going with the conversation they had in their language. YUCK! BEWARE. DOUBLECHECKTHEEXPDATEONSNACKSORDRINKS!

Wes liquors hardly carries any microbrews nor cigars. stores nearby have much better inventory and better pricing. the mainstream beer they have is overpriced if they are priced at all. they have some groceries here also. smoke: onyx reserve churchill(6.99) — ok for the price, a little harsh –cigars mostly no. 2 rejects ‘gars @2.95 –didn’t see humidor in case.

The cashier here speaks to his customers in their language. Whenever I come in(he never remembers me) he says«kamusta pare» and I say«hey you know Tagalog!» And he says, «yeah, my close friend is Filipino.» I then buy my phone card and leave laughing as he helps another customer in Spanish. You’ll know who he is because he’s young and wears his polo collars up. You know, like Kanye West.

This is a fairly large liquor store and if you’re looking to throw down, this place is for you. Everything from an array of both Mad Dog 20⁄20 and Cisco varietals to higher end alcohols abound. I was just looking for weird sodas and they had something called Goya Guava that I picked up. Other notables: Hyphy Juice and Wild N’ Out. I wasn’t ready for what this stuff was going to do to me so I passed for the time being.
