Although we’ve been here a couple of times since 2008 we hadn’t eaten here for awhile. We had the BEST pupusas — Mr Rinky — bean… Rinky cheese and vegetables Yummy and tasty. The dough was light and tasty. The pupusas came with curtido and hot sauce… yum! i also got a chicken tostada which looked small but it was loaded with grilled chicken that was very tasty, beans, lettuce, tomato… I definitely would get it again. The service was friendly as always. We’ll be back

I worked here and gives courage see comments that put many people just to criticize. best help with their comments they can improve. do not try to ruin others, it hurts like many can not be overcome only thing left is to try to kill others. why is that going from bad to worse people !!! these people were my bosses they try to do their best they can but as they always told me, you can not please to every one…

food is very good, service kinda sucks though when you have a waitress who’s only worried about looking cute

First time here, only came for pupusas. Ordered 6 pork cheese and bean, best I’ve ever had from a restaurant! The cortido was perfect, Horchata wasn’t anything to write home about, though. the reviews about the wait are pretty accurate, but come on people. They’re made fresh and worth the wait! It takes time to cook good food! Staff was friendly and very helpful.

I got the number 42 or 45 it’s their shrimp dishes which is both spicy 42 is the one with tomatoes onions and jalapeños sautéed together as for the number 45 is just with the spicy tomato sauce. I been here twice and I love the food flavor is on point I eat here I’m a happy camper. Definitely recommend this establishment!

This was our second time coming here. A year ago, my friends and I had a pretty good experience with the food and service. Recently, we decided to eat here again since it’s fairly close by to home and we were craving Salvadorian and Mexican food. The server was really kind in letting us take a while to look at the menu and decide on what to order. My rating would be higher if the food tasted better and if there wasn’t a short piece of hair mixed in with my guacamole. I was able to reorder a new dish of my choice, but I settled for a basic taco. My friend’s papusa(cheese) did not taste as good and she did not take more than a bite of the tamale she ordered. The Horchata was lacking as well. However, the curtido(despite just sitting there in a jar), super nachos, and tortillas were good. We were also allowed to split our bills separately. Overall, it was an okay experience, but the food can be improved.

Expect to wait 10 – 15 mins longer than the wait time they tell you when ordering to go. If dining in, make sure to have PLENTY of time because the wait for food is always long. Even if it’s not busy. Service isn’t the greatest – Unless you’re with someone who knows someone who works there. Younger gentleman helping at the counter isn’t very helpful. He cannot ring you up for your order and stands around like he doesn’t want to be there. Person who can ring you up was busy eating – I get it, you need a break, but have someone else there that can ring up customers so they don’t have to wait. I guess only one person in the whole restaurant knows how to work the register.

I came in hungry and was not disappointed. I had the chicken flautas and it was a big portion and pretty cheap considering! The rice and beans are so so good here.

Service is alright. The waiter wasn’t necessarily rude but he wasn’t friendly either. I got a combo #4 with one pupusa, one tamal and rice and beans and I also got an horchata. The rice and beans were good but it’s hard to mess that up lol. The pupusa was good but Tortas y Taquerias a few blocks away have better. The tamal was kinda gross. The masa(that’s what it’s called right???) was super jello-y and it was ¾th masa ¼ chicken. The place was pretty empty, there were only 3 other tables occupied and I was here around lunch time. I’d come here again for everything except the tamal just because it’s right by my school and it’s affordable.

The service is TERRIBLE! SUPEREXPENSIVE for the portions you get. I ordered sopa de Gallina India which they have on Tuesdays and Sundays I believe, and the chicken Leg was BURNT!!! Im not exaggerating! I told the Rude gentlemen DANIEL and he said thats how its supposed to be. REALLY??? DRIEDANDBLACKBURNT? He said he would replace it and gave me a boiled Chicken Leg. Sadly went to the garbage, Gallina India is a special kind of Chicken(hen chicken) the leg bone is skinner, which couldn’t they just give me what I paid for instead of boiling a regular chicken leg that I could buy at Safeway and boil myself instead of paying 15 $ for some«Restaurant» to do it. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant. Take your chances coming here and bring LOTS of money cause they charge you up the he haw for everything

PLACEISTERRIBLE, dirty, limited seating, rude, when they pick up dishes they place them on the front counter next to/alongside dirty dishes and your not suppose to do that, that’s infection control and clearly they don’t have any. There drinks they have is very limited to stay cool cause they small refrigerator they have the door constantly opens and it doesn’t stay closed long enough to keep the drinks ice cold. The food was terrible, the plantains were too watery and wet. Not like I expected. I will never go back there again, it’s a insult to Hispanic/Salvadorian food

2:45 sat down. It’s a thirsday and maybe just 4 tables in use. Really nice waitress. 2:50 the menu offers 5 sobes and they only have 2. menu said they had pepsi drink like dr pepper: also didnt have it. 3:05 got our pupusas, tried to give us empanadas but we ordered beans. When we mentioned it he goes back and you hear«2 orders of beans!». So it was nice that we weren’t questioned and we got them super fast! Then we realized the waitress didnt write anything down. Meh. Things happen. BEANSAREBOMB. PUPUSASBOMB. Carfeul! Their bathrooms are in the dining room but have a written sign that claims we cant use it.

I love this place and Carla is the best waitress you will ever have! She provides the best services and when you are a regular costumer she remembers what you want! The only things I can complain about is that my friend, who also is a regular costumer also ask for the salpicon and every times when we go the porting is smaller and smaller and same price… Also, when Carla is not there the service is a slow… sometimes I ask for water or something and it takes forever to get it or they even forget about it. Pupusas are the best ones I have tried in the bay so far!

«creamy shrimp soup« this soup look and taste nasty . I told to the server I don’t like the soup and I tried to return it and get something else A rude server told me. That’s not our fault, if you don’t like the soup. eat it or take it home .you have to pay for the soup anyways. I was ok to pay and take the soup but I was disappointed w SERVERMANNERS

Went in with my parents for lovely dinner, my husband enjoying sopa de mariscos. Guess what, there was a fly in the soup and saying we were responsible for it lol made us pay for it. Check your soup and food ppl;)

I am very disappointed in the food. Service was slow and lacking in check ins. The Pupusas had no flavor and not enough meat. And the food took forever to make when we didn’t order that much. Place was dirty. No stars from me.

Love to go here to get pupusas! I love how the veggie mix you put on your pupusa is unlimited. I just love it, since I love my pupusa with the veggies and the sauce that they give you has a pretty good amount, enough for me to drown my pupusa(that’s how I like my pupusa) Sometimes their service is slow. Though, I’ve only been to this place thrice. during the weekday.
