Alamo Carpet & Tile Restoration

I found Mo on Next Door, referred by neighbors — wow, he didn’t disappoint. He was timely, über professional, reviewed each room, priced fair. My carpets are white, and they’ve never looked as good — right back to the original look. Hands down, the best cleaning I’ve ever had, and rate a sold #1 — thanks Mo for a fantastic job!

We live in a house in the middle of the Marin redwoods and we have white carpet. Arrrrg! That was almost a deal-​breaker when we bought this house a couple years ago: Why anyone would put a white carpet in a house in the middle of forest still remains a mystery to me. Can we retroactively sue the interior designer??? To make things worse, our two dogs love that carpet. And I mean LOVE! Every morning they literally take a bath in it: rolling all over and doing the back-​dance for a few minutes. It really is too cute… if they wouldn’t also rub off all the dirt that they’ve gathered up in their fur while hiking in the woods!
Anyways, at some point I couldn’t stand it anymore: both the shabby look of the carpet as well as the musky dog smell. So I looked up various carpet cleaners here on Unilocal and eventually decided to go with Mo. I read through all of the reviews and I really liked that he seems to be a one-​man show and does all of the cleaning himself. I called and we made an appointment for him to come out and visit the «crime scene». He did some quick measurements and after doing some calculations quoted me the price on cleaning. I agreed to that and then we set the date for the actual cleaning.
On the day itself Mo showed up on time and soon got to work. Once he was done, we inspected his work together… and let me tell you: the carpet looked brand-​spanking-​new and honestly I wanted to get on all fours and rub myself into it. Luckily I didn’t because it first had to dry for a few hours ;-)

We found Muhammad through Unilocal when we needed help with the shower on our boat. With one phone call he arrived to give us a same day estimate and began work just a couple of days later. Even though the work space was tight, he kept everything neat and tidy and talked us through each step of the process.
He went above and beyond just re-​grouting our tiles, he rebuilt the structure underneath the damaged tiles to make sure everything was sealed up and it looks amazing! Muhammad was thorough and kind and and knows his stuff. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Five Stars for Alamo Carpet & Tile Restoration. I needed to replace loose and worn tiles in two showers. Mohammed did the repair work as well as cleaned all the tile surfaces in both bathrooms. The showers and bathroom tiles came out looking like new.
Mohammed is a meticulous, thorough worker. I was happy with the results.

This is far too late of a review, and I apologize completely… he deserves as many positive reviews as possible. I will let the pictures speak for themselves… but it’s not just about a clean carpet. Mohammed is so kind, friendly, professional. He was a joy to have, beyond just doing the work. He also does contractor work, etc. THANKS MO! =)

Well I met Mo as he is a new member of our local Lions Club. He introduced himself
and said he was in the carpet cleaning business. A number of members had used
his services and were very pleased. Well yesterday he cleaned our carpets. Like all
the other reviews he was friendly, professional, hard working, no chemicals, fair
priced and the carpets came out beautiful. Worked over 2 hours and made sure
the job was done perfect. This guy is the real thing and I highly recommend him.

Great job steam cleaning my bathtub tile so that I could avoid a complete tear out to rid the shower enclosure of mold and scale. This was part of an overall house rehab that I undertook this summer.

We had never had our tile, carpet or area rugs professionally cleaned since moving into our house 12 years ago. They had all gotten pretty dirty. I was thinking we would have to throw away our area rugs, and replace most of the carpeting since it had gotten so bad. And the grout between the tile flooring was almost all black.
In a last ditch effort, I called Alamo, based on the recommendation of others. Mo promptly set up an appointment for a free estimate, which was very reasonable, considering the condition of our floors. Then, he came and did a miraculous job. The floors look great, the grout on the tiles is all gone, and the area rugs look new! Mo was very nice and professional, showed up on time, and met his estimate.
I am really glad we used Alamo, and maybe next time I won’t wait 12 years! We are really enjoying the new look of our floors.

Called last week, booked an appointment for an in house estimate for yesterday around 4−5pm, called Mohammad at 6pm and was told that an appointment was never booked. I booked for Thursday morning, though I already had lost some faith. I received a call Wednesday morning stating he is on his way. When I reminded him the appointment was for tomorrow, he stated that he didn’t have time for this and is very busy, then called back a minute later threatening to sue me if I gave him a bad Unilocal review.

I am not a fan of carpet, and certainly didn’t care for the carpeting covering nearly every square foot of my new house. But I figured if I had to live with carpet, I was going to live with *clean* carpet; that’s why I called Alamo (that and the good Unilocal reviews). Mohammed had a cancellation and was able to come to me in Fairfax this morning – perfect!
The carpet looks amazing. Like, so amazing that I hardly miss the noisy, dusty hardwood floors I’m leaving behind.
Mohammed was friendly and communicative, and his pricing was fair. Best of all, he did an amazing job on my carpets.
I can’t recommend Alamo highly enough!

Alamo did a fantastic job steam-​cleaning our vacation-​home tile floor in the kitchen. The tile floor had seen an enormous amount of animal traffic and cleaning it with normal house hold cleaners would only do so much. Alamo came out and went over it for literally 3hrs+. In addition he hit the back bathroom. We are very happy with the job and would recommend him to others!

I was so impressed at the service provided by Alamo, I decided to stay up late just to write the review the same evening.
Not only was Mo incredibly professional and knowledgeable, his environmentally safe «green» solution was powerful enough to remove all of the spots and discoloration that have built up for the last year. His fee was nominal compared to others quotes and he was willing to work around our business hours. He went above and beyond and his attention to deal was exceptional.
I highly recommend Alamo and will be using him exclusively for both business and home carpet cleaning needs in the future.

I will NEVER use another carpet cleaner again! Mo is AWESOME! This man takes so much pride in his business and will not stop until your carpets are as clean as possible. We had just moved into a house where for 11 years, the carpets were never cleaned. Not only did he work his tail off to ensure they were sparkling, he was super flexible with our ever changing moving schedule. This is a man who deserves 5 stars and more! I am telling everyone. I have used many many different companies in the past but there is something extra special to hiring a small business. When it’s your name on the line… you clean like it’s your house! I really like this company. The man who came was on-​time and very friendly. He did a great job and was kind enough to help my elderly neighbor. I recommend this company.

I am SO GLAD I cancelled my Stanley Steemer appointment. Well, maybe they would have been ok, too… but I will never know because I will only use Mohammad at Alamo from now on. I needed a cleaning asap and he was there the next day. We had our carpets cleaned when we moved into a new house. The previous owner came over and said, «Wow! my guy never got these carpets this clean looking!» Mo is a super pleasant guy, very reasonable prices, uses all natural cleaning supplies. He is a small business owner trying to run an honest, and reputable business and is very flexible in accommodating his customers needs. We will be calling him to do our tile when we are ready and support him in any way we can!

I trusted the Unilocalers on this one and I’m happy I did! He came all the way up to Santa Rosa, and our carpets are super clean! They look like new! Definitely calling him the next time we need someone to clean the carpets.

All I have to say is– excellent work and excellent price! This guy came and worked on 3 upholstered pieces that were «lived on» and stained. As well he worked on a room size wool rug that my child had spilled colored juice on– and when he left– all of my pieces looked brand new! The real plus was that he completely cleaned up after himself too– which is rare when people come to your house. I’d recommend him to anyone– again– he was absolutely excellent!

I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service provided. The carpet came out great, but the tile was transformed! I honestly didn’t think it could get that clean – and the grout cleaning was unbelievable.

I HIGHLY reccommend Alamo! They are by far the best carpet cleaners I have ever welcomed into my house. Mo offers a fair price for an AMAZING job. My carpets were worse for wear after three kids running over them all summer as well as a new dog. Mo was able to remove all the stains and the carpet looks at least two shades lighter.
He took his time cleaning each room and the stairs. Many other cleaners just come and leave in an hour. Mo spent three hours cleaning my floors… he was very thorough and meticulous.
Mo is a stand-​up guy… he is honest, fair and does an amazing job. I highly recommend Alamo to anyone needing their carpets cleaned professionally! You won’t be disappointed!

We got a junk mail coupon for carper cleaning with Alamo… and found no Unilocal reviews at all so we were a bit dubious about the potential of letting some unreviewed random person into our home. I had a really shady character come in once and NOT clean my carpets well at all either.
My experience with Mo from Alamo could not have been more different. Our beige carpets had been seriously abused and not cleaned well for much too long – we have 4 animals! – and Mo honored the coupon and did not try to hard sell us any extras. He came in a van with a big old machine in it (so much more powerful then the kind you can rent) and did a bunch of spot removal for no extra cost. I kept expecting him to be done (as many pro carpet cleaners do the once over and get out as quickly as possible, it seems) but every time I checked in with him he was putting serious sweat equity into giving our stairs another steam-clean…he was very thorough and meticulous. He spent a good 90 minutes on one 10×20 room plus a long staircase.
I am really pleased about how many of the stains are gone or seriously lightened!
Also, as promised he did not use any toxic smelling or feeling chemicals at all, and left our carpets just a little wet, not sopping wet like some companies I have used.
This man is a pro, he cares about doing a good job, and he gives a great deal. Highly recommended.
