Brian Gleason

To anyone who is looking for a great massage, Brian is your man! I’ve had many massages over the years and he is one of the best Massage Therapist I’ve had! He listens to your needs and makes sure he addresses them so you can be pain free. His intuition is amazing and he finds things and areas to be worked on that no other therapist normally finds. He’s a very kind person with a big heart! I highly recommend him!

Brian is the first masseuse to actually «treat» my issues. Not your usual generic massage. Brian is a healer. I am a chef and work many long arduous days that work every muscle from my shoulders down to my feet. My body is put through the wringer just like any proffesional athlete except my «game» can last up to 12+ hours. I also have an elbow tendon issue. After I leave Brian’s I’m a new man, ready to get back on he field /​behind the range.

As a busy and experienced massage therapist myself, I must say that Brian Gleason is brilliant and highly skilled. I’ve received much bodywork from him over the years and his most recent attention to a moderate soft tissue leg injury got me back to running pain-​free. His work is intuitive and focused. Most highly recommended.

I have been to many many massage therapists in Marin County over the past 20 years and no one compares to this guy. Brian Gleeson is hands down (no pun intended!) the best massage therapist in Bay Area in my opinion. He has this amazing way of working into deep tissue, but not hurting you, relaxing you, but also invigorating you. I started going once a month, then realized I needed to go twice a month and that was fantastic, but, it wasn’t till last summer when I decided to go once a week (just budgeted it into my self-​care/​healthcare expenses) for three months straight and see how I felt at the end of that period that I truly started getting the benefits. My body felt like a different person after the consistent massage for 3 mths and so I started going every week for the past 10 mths and I’m now a true believer that this should just be part of our weekly maintenance for good health. I almost never have back pain or strange areas that hurt week to week. I literally am more flexible and just pain free most of the time and the only thing I changed was getting massage on a regular basis. Even every 2 weeks is fantastic if you stay consistent! Worth every penny I’ve spent, and would much rather give it to Brian then a chiropractor, or doctor, or hospital due to health problems for 10 – 20 times that amount of money!

Brian is my favorite massage therapist and I have tried many at upscale salons in the county and destination spas in many locations. The downtown San Rafael office is nothing fancy but you will be perfectly comfortable when you nestle into the table. The sheets will be warmed to your liking and you will be offered leg rests, pillows and an eye mask. The music will be soft and soothing and you will drift away into that lovely space between waking and sleeping but when you get up (hopefully an hour and a half later) all the little aches and pains will have been skillfully smoothed away. He uses a cream instead of oils and I am not all slippery afterwards which I really like.
Brian is a devoted dad, avid surfer and very serious practitioner of the art of massage. I experience both physical and emotional healing from this massage experience and consider regular visits an essential part of my wellness plan.
