Established in 1977, this practice has been continuously serving the people of Marin and surrounding counties with restorative and family dental services since its inception. The practice consists of father and son dentists bringing modern techniques and experience to your dental care. They collaborate on procedures and treatment plans providing the patient with two doctors opinions at no extra charge. Dr. Grey Kantor is currently a faculty member at his alma mater UOP Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he teaches integrated reconstructive dental sciences.

Ezra H. Kantor, D. D. S.

Business Owner

Dr. Ezra H. Kantor graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1972, achieving membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national honor society for dentistry. Dr. Kantor then entered into a residency program for prosthodontia, the specialty for aesthetic and restorative dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine. At the end of his two year program, he married Jill and relocated to California.

Grey F. Kantor, D. D. S.

Dr. Grey Kantor graduated from University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry with high honors achieving the operative dentistry award and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society just like his father. Since then he was an instructor at his alma mater where he taught crowns, fillings and painless anesthesia. Last June Camille and Grey had a beautiful wedding at Cavallo Point. They are now expecting a new addition to the Kantor family in March 2016.

I may very well be the biggest fan of this father & son establishment, and hold their practice in the utmost highest regard. About a month ago I had two severely infected wisdom teeth, and my mother who is also a patient here was able to refer me to them that very day. Dr. Grey Kantor was (and continues to be) so very kind, professional, as well as genuinely caring. Both he and his father (as well as their additional staff) go above and beyond to ensure the patients wellbeing, and are always available via telephone for any concerns. Before my first visit here, it had been nearly a decade since I had seen a dentist due to a horribly irrational fear that I had… Dr. Grey was able to completely erase any and all of my fears and both he and his staff were incredibly accommodating with my nervousness. Since then, I have been back twice to receive some much needed dental work, and after each visit I have left feeling both tremendously impressed as well as thrilled in the quality of work performed. Also, the facilities are immaculate and they provide noise cancelling headphones as well as a television monitor on the ceiling with Netflix to watch during the procedures :)
I drive nearly an hour from Napa to see Dr. Grey Kantor and I believe that in itself is a testament to the level of satisfaction that I feel, and this is based upon the professionalism from every member of their team. Of all the medical professionals that I have visited in my 27 years, Kantor & Kantor is by far the best of the best.

I can’t recommend them enough! Dr. Grey Kantor is passionate and smart. It’s clear he is aware of the newest techniques and implements them in his office. I’m not a huge fan of the dentist, but I know these guys would take great care of me.

Very nice folks, but a few minor flaws.
Was supposed to do cleaning and service on same day… but scheduling got thrown off and had to make two separate appointments. Tried to use Unilocal coupons… but didn’t fully understand the process and we’re left holding $ 200 in coupons we’ll have to save until the next visit. Made a comment on a survey that I thought might draw follow up questions from the doc, but no such follow up. Only follow up was a surprise bill… for when we thought we had paid the whole amount on the same day. Who knows what it’s for.
Sweet and friendly office… but I think they are going through some technology changes that may have impacted their client communications.

Dr. Ezra Kantor did an amazing job rebuilding my Son’s teeth. 28 crowns and veneers. His smile is beautiful and so natural looking. He is a wonderful, warm, caring man and truly cares about you and your dental health. We love everyone who works there too. They are exceptional and worth the drive from Petaluma to San Rafael! Highly recommend both Dr. Ezra and Grey Kantor!

Dr. Grey was very positive and walked me through what each part of the appointment was for and why. He answered all of my questions regarding how much we could do while covered by insurance and developed a plan to get my teeth a clean bill of health again. I had two fillings that went in with no discomfort. I no longer need to find a good dentist and recommend this office to anyone. By far the best dentist for anyone like me who was a bit nervous about any dental work and past due for an appointment.

The staff at Kantor & Kantor are terrific. Dr. Grey has an informative and friendly approach to walking patients through their visit. Some of the technology they use is pretty great too! Dr. Grey used iPad apps, digital photography, and desktop x-​ray images to talk through my consultation. Their schedule was full and it turned out I needed a few fillings, they made accommodations so I didn’t have to make a second trip which was nice for my own busy schedule. Thank you again Kantor & Kantor!

Great Emergency Service — I had a crown come loose and my regular dentist wasn’t available. With no advance notice they took me in as a new patient the day after I called. They had even offered me a same day appointment but I couldn’t make it due to transportation issues. I showed up, filled out the inevitable forms and Dr. Kantor the Elder fixed my problem. He also noticed that I needed a filling and told me to have my regular dentist fix it. He didn’t try to convince me to make him my primary dentist, he just did great, quick and efficient work.
Special note: I’m in a wheelchair and obviously have mobility issues. In addition to his very helpful staff Dr. Kantor himself helped me out of my chair and then back into it when he was finished. A very nice, kind and personable man.
I’m sure he and his son would be great primary dentists and I found out they were great Emergency dentists too.

I would recommend Dr. Grey to anyone looking for a new dentist. I hadn’t been to the dentist in about 2 years and was quite embarrassed on my first visit, but Grey made me feel comfortable and at ease immediately. I had a short and painless initial visit and a return visit for a cavity fix (yeah, don’t wait two years to visit the dentist…). The office is very clean, the staff is awesome, I had a great experience overall.
Bonus is that Dr. Grey’s schedule is flexible, he filled my cavity in the evening after I got off work.
Anyone in need of a new dentist should visit Dr. Grey.

I have a particularly difficult situation because of cancer medication that I am taking, which means I need to keep away from infections as much as possible. Dr. Ezra Kantor took time to study my particular type of medication and cancer, and then developed a plan for «restoring» my teeth. He was patient, very thorough, and has been doing wonderful work in giving me my smile back. Both Dr. Kantors and the staff are caring and thoughtful. Thanks to your great work!!!

The staff at Kantor & Kantor are very friendly. Grey is doing an implant for me and has made it an easy and comfortable experience. With many bad past experiences with my dental, it’s been tough for me to find a good dental service, but I think the Kantor’s are the answer. I’m excited to have found a service that makes me feel confident in getting implants for my back molars.

Dr. Kantor is meticulous, smart, kind, and fair. I have been to other dentists who seem to find things in my mouth that require hundreds of dollars of work that Dr. Kantor doesn’t corroborate. I feel very well taken care of in his office. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
