One of the best Thai meals we’ve ever had! We had the Panang curry and BBQ roasted duck. Both were excellent and the service was wonderful too!

For Marin, this thai spot is good. More expensive than equal types of thai restaurants in the city such as king of thai. Lers Ros is more specialty higher end thai which is not compared here. Roast duck curry — duck a bit tough and not fatty. curry was good. rice mushy. Crab pad thai — noodles overcooked, soft and lumpy. Pad kee mao beef — probably my favorite, HOT ordered and was just good enough spice, wish a little more spicy. a very small portion with too much veggies compared to noodles. tom yum soup — could be more spicy and sour. spring rolls at $ 9 for 6 pieces very expensive and at par best.

I love this restaurant! Came here for lunch and we ordered a little bit of everything. For appetizers we ordered the fried bread with their curry sauce(to-die-for) and spring rolls. For our entrée we got basil chicken and noodles with pork. Yum! I will most definitely be back. Service is quick and friendly. I love the interior and it’s just one of those cute restaurants that easily become a favorite.

My Thai has the best Thai vegan options in San Rafael. Their coconut rice is heaven. I really enjoy their green curry, but be careful if you don’t like spicy. This place is really great. :)

Service was terrible, food was bland… No flavor. There is way better Thai right in San Rafael — I will never go back.

I was out with some girl friends and ordered the Fresh Rolls which were beautifully decorated in sprouts and every color of the rainbow! Both the peanut and sweet/sour dipping sauces were delicious.(I choose to keep them for my Jasmine rice). I was craving noodles and went for the classic Pad Thai.(If a Thai place screws up this dish, you know to stay away!) The sauce was light and the noodles were plentiful. Veggies were very fresh! I kept getting a weird vibe from the wait staff though. It was late, but they were still open for another 15 minutes by the time we were finished with our meal. We were the last customers to leave the restaurant and it certainly felt like we were being kicked out. I would advise having an early dinner rather than late as to not annoy the staff…

I really wanted to love this place. I mean really. I’d researched and digested all the Unilocal reviews for central Marin Thai restaurants, and this seemed like my best bet. I wanted — above all — a really great Tom Kha soup. So I ordered one small, and another of the Po-Tak(hot/sour seafood soup). Both had a very«flimsy» weak broth, and my BF ended up adding a ton of Tapatio and lime to give his flavor. Sadly, the chicken in my Tom Kha was flavorless and rubbery like all mediocre Thai places. We also got an order of Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls($ 9 for 3 little pieces!?) which tasted almost only of sweet potato. Was there chicken in there? The Pineapple Fried Rice($ 13) was the worse of the bunch. It lacked any distinct flavor whatsoever. It tasted only of slightly sweet, salty soft food. The only highlight was the Duck Curry($ 16). Great coconut curry base. But for $ 6 more than chicken curry, the presence of duck was only in the form of fatty duck skin. Another mediocre restaurant trick. Two small soups, 3 small rolls, a rice, and a curry cost $ 55. Not money well spent. Unilocalers, please tell me where it’s really good!(And for anyone in SF, the hands-down BEST Thai food I’ve had in my life is at Manora at 12th and Folsom. Great lunch combos!)

Red curry OUTOFTHISWORLD… don’t miss it. Good balance and great depth of flavor, the tofu is fried before going in, you can’t go wrong. Fish cakes also super flavorful and fresh with homemade peanut sauce. Pad Kee Mao was above average but not as good as the other two dishes. Will definitely return!

I came to this place with a friend of mine that lives in San Rafael so I trust in her taste for food. When we arrived, we were greeted by this lady that my friend knew and proceeded to give us a table by the window, which to me, was pleasant. I usually go for the pad-see-ew but on that day I was willing to try something different to which I ordered the red curry. As my friend and I were chatting and catching up, the waitress was attentive and served me water whenever the glass was getting low. The food arrived pretty quickly and the appearance of the dish looked very appetizing!(I would’ve taken a picture of it, but my phone was acting up and didn’t want to :(. Next time I shall). The curry was sooo good! It wasn’t too spicy and yet a little creamy with a taste that pleases your tongue. The food there was so good there, I finished my dish within like 10 min. By the end of our lunch, I was feeling full and satisfied. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that wants some Thai food in the San Rafael area. The prices are not that bad comparing to the quality of food that you will get. I’ll definitely be back next time I come to visit my friend.

Was not particularly wowed by their food selection. We ordered pad ke mao, pumpkin curry, pineapple fried rice, calamarie and spring rolls for three people. The calamarie was some what hard. The pineapple fried rice wasn’t the best that I had. The pad ke mao was sweet. Not the usual taste that I get. But over all it was okay. I f I’m in the area I may give it another try. Maybe it was just it off day. Service was good. The waitress was pleasant to us and responsive to us throughout the entirety of our visit.

Ok I totally LOVE this place. I dined here on December 19th, 2015, for the second time with a dear friend of mine before heading over to the Open Secret Bookstore to see Jai Uttal perform some kirtan, which totally rocked, by the way! That’s another review though. We ordered the Chicken Satay, Pad Thai Noodles-Chicken, and Pad Gra-Prow-Beef, and my favorite dessert — Sticky Rice with Mango, oh and the Thai Style Hot Tea. Everything was spot on delish. Exactly as I remembered it from over 5 years ago. This has got to be one of the best of the best Thai Restaurants of the Bay Area, They deserve an award. Nice ambience and staff too, which always adds to the dining experience! If you happen to be driving by San Rafael, plan ahead and stop off(just off of 101) for a meal. You will not be disappointed. You will be DELIGHTED! Enjoy.

This is hands down some of my favorite Thai food in the Bay Area. I am a Thai food fanatic. I live and breathe Thai food and have probably been to the majority of Thai restaurants in Marin and many throughout SF. But I will always come back to My Thai. The food is unbelievable delicious and the restaurant is incredibly clean. The staff is beyond nice. Prices are extremely reasonable for Marin. The Panang curry, pad se ew, tom ka, eggplant dish and pad graw are so so so so good. Everything. Order everything. You’ll melt from how good everything. COMEHERE

I must be a fan as I’ve literally eaten here 4 nights this week alone! What I love about My Thai is that everything tastes fresh. I have eaten a lot of Thai food, especially in Marin and the only other place I really like is Arawan in Sausalito. The Tom Kha Gai here at My Thai is amazing. My Thai friend says you can tell how good a Thai restaurant is by their Tom Kha Gai. I don’t usually like the way chicken tastes in this dish but I love love love it here. So much I ordered it all 4 nights this week. I also love their Pad Thai, even though it’s the standard American Thai dish I normally don’t like Pad Thai but at My Thai I LOVE it; especially their Crab Pad Thai :) My other favorite is their Basil Beef — Pad Gra Prow. This is so amazingly delicious. I like their beef strips, so tender! You do have to ask for this dish with strips of beef otherwise you’ll get it with ground beef, which I haven’t tried. Their Pad See Ew is amazing as well, that’s what we had tonight. And I’ve had their BBQ beef too which is fantastic. Basically I haven’t had anything here I didn’t like — yet :) I have to explore more of the menu for sure.

Sadly, we have eaten My Thai a few times now to give it the benefit of the doubt. Both to go orders were relatively small, and took over 20 minutes once we arrived at the restaurant. It’s like they completely forgot we ordered. Overall order to take out time was an hour for one drunken noodle order. The drunken noodles are not at all what they look like on the website. Hardly any actual noodles and weird vegetables like tomatoes that didn’t look ripe and the taste left much to be desired. Really disappointing!

I really, really like My Thai. Their curry and noodle dishes are equally well prepared. Their menu is extensive, and their appetizers quite tasty(particularly the corn fritters). Their service is really good, most of the time — but I’ve had a couple instances where they seem short-staffed for the evening at hand, which resulted in unpleasant waits for food and drinks alike. To bring it all together, the ambience is very warm and relaxing. The left side of the restaurant is set up with larger tables for groups, while the right offers smaller tables for an intimate setting. This is our go-to Thai joint in San Rafael(we go here about once a month) and has proven to be quite reliable and consistent in quality. They do pick-ups quite well too.

I dig it. The first time I visited My Thai, I tried the Kao Pad and although it was pretty delicious, it didn’t wow me. Since then, I’ve been back for a second visit. This time tried the Basil Fried Rice, and the extra basil and different style of fried rice made it a hit. The Drunken noodles are also really tasty, I recommend giving My Thai a try if you’re in the area.

Again I chose to try a different Thai restaurant because of convenience. There was just so much wrong and don’t care to relive the experience. Going to stick with what I know. I guess that having eaten at some very good Thai restaurants I’ve come to know that the area offers much better if I drive 15minutes out of the way. The cost is too expensive to keep throwing away meals. Plus as a visitor to the area I have to either buy another meal or do without during the evening. I buy an order of brown rice and its ½ full or is it ½ empty. Shameful. Thank goodness for my snacks kept in my hotel room. Won’t be back.

Dude this place not only has bangin food but they have real customer service. I called to order food at 9:20pm because that close at 9:30. He told me they close the kitchen at 9:15pm but would take my order since I didn’t know Ana just to be aware next time. Not only am I sick of places saying they’re open until a certain time yet shit business down early, but he did the customer centric thing and let me know. If businesses don’t set the expectation or give you knowledge as to how they want you to conduct business with them, then how are you supposed to know? Aren’t we all more conscious with our money these days? I don’t want to feel like I’m just a paycheck to a business, I want to feel like patronizing a business matters to them. These guys have incredibly fresh food and they have an incredibly fresh attitude about taking care of their customers.

I have to say, MyThai is the best Thai food I’ve had in Marin. Very good food. Good service too. The restaurant itself is slightly fancier than most Thai restaurants but is still very casual. I’ve gone here for dates and small groups of friends. It’s clean and has a somewhat modern décor. The presentation of the dishes is more modern than most tradition Thai restaurants. I highly recommend the Pumpkin curry dish. The majority of the dishes on the menu are fairly standard, but this dish was new to me. Yummy! I look forward to returning.

If there’s a better Thai place in San Rafael I don’t know about it. I’ve been here a few times for lunch and once for dinner. They handle the lunch crowd well and the lunch dishes are a great value. I specially liked the Healthy Bowl which despite the unfortunate name, it’s simply delicious. I really like how good the vegetables are with the dishes, never over cooked and taste fresh. The ambiance is really what sets this place apart from the rest. It’s nicely decorated and it adds to the experience. The dishes are presented beautifully. It’s not the best Thai place ever, but it’s quite good and if you want solid Thai, come here.
